My take on Tumhari Disha - 7th Jul '05
After quite some days felt like writing a take for TD once again. I had thot to myself that it wud happen when DK comes back but somehow yesterday's episode had DK parting ways with life on paper. They signed that the dead body that they found is Dk's thanks to an identification farce by Gargi. (for good or temp is something which is still a riddle). Thanks sree_20 and vidya for some great updates.
Anyways the 1st thing that I noticed yesterday was the blooper. It was so obvious. If you had read the update then there was a scene where Rano gives her testimony. and she changes her statement (that Dish is innocent) and the whole court erupts and surprise...u see Rano speaking with Suhas and sitting behind the lawyers. And one more thing was the changed Ved's hairstyle. It was more like a basket on his head with hair falling slightly over his face. (Did not suit him though. If I may add, his teeth were becoming very prominent with this style and he was not looking good) Guess to show his negativity and its a pity that he has been changed. But poor guy is getting a lot of footage in another K serial (the lead opposite the main heroine) and it is difficult for anyone to antagonise E and working with duplicate shows and is idiotic as well !!!! with the new Sachin (Tyagi) this time replacing him I wonder if they are going to show it as Plastic surgery (fav among all makers), or a line at the beginning of the serial (so and so will now play the part of Ved) or are we may just have to see a new person coming on screen.
Kanchan seems to have really softened upto Dish. You could see the change in her expression when she now approaches Disha. Guess she now understands how she has wronged her and in future I expect her to give her full support to Dish. I was thinking of pairing her along with Ved but with lots of changes which include change in actor (Sharma to Tyagi) and change in character (full positive to complete negative ?) I don't think that we will have a jodi of right (Police Inspector Kanchan) and wrong (Killer Ved ?).
Still Suhas and company think that Dish is responsible for all the evil stuff happening. I guess these ppl have decided not to use their brains at all ! On second thots the root cause of all these problems is Suhas's over indugent love 2wards Rano. If only she had told Rano the truth at that time then all these need not have happened. Suhas always treads the extreme path. Extreme love or Extreme hate. Guess someone shud show her the middle path.
btw they supposedly showed DK's dead body which Dish says is not him. Well me also thinks it is not him as his nose looked way too sharp to me. btw why don't they check the legs or bullet shots. Kanchan did hear the bullets rite (someone enlighten me. I think she heard but am not sure). Then wud she not check corpse. I mean if they at least show it to us then we can make sure. Just on the basis of a chain and a few other personal things how can they assume that its DK. Especially when we viewers know that he was in a charity spree in the last few days. Dish also looked like she is going to commit suicide by treading those dangerous waters. Me thinks that we may have a reincarnation or fantasy (heaven/hell) story coming up next with both of them making their way (in case of DK already ? ) to the other world.
I still think that Guhas would not take the risk of replacing DK or bumping him off. I expect him to return in style sometime next week. Mostly DK diguised as a new character and joining Kanaka. Hopefully Dish would also collect the threads of her life and start moving on with it.

PS: Just now read mink's post (refer here) that DK wud be back. (from her khabris no doubt). But not updating my take. Thot of retaining it as how I had written in today morn.
