Chilly Getting Officially Hooked!

Hi Guys,

It is your Official Wedding Planner here! Sorry for abandoning the Wedding in-between, but too many things came up together and I had to rush here and there to wrap them off!

Btw, before anything else, I need to share a good news with all of you! I am getting married on 8th July!!! The venue is Nainital (of all the places, it will be pouring Cats&Dogs!) and the Groom is my first and only boyfriend of the past 9 years! He is a Major in the Army and is currently posted in Siachen, so I can say goodbye to any honeymoon plans I have in my mind😕 The dude has got a leave of just two weeks approved, then he is off to that horrid place for 6 months😭 I obviously cannot join him there in his bunker! Lol......Anyway, I guess I am thankful to get married and married to the man I wanted to, unlike Ms. Disha and Mr. DK! So I am not complaning!

So guys, all of you are cordially and warmly invited to Major Aditya R Singh and Ms. Rekha Joshi's ''Shubh Vivah'' on 8th July, 10 Am onwards at:

Joshi Niwas, Longview Road, Mallital, Nainital

Ofcourse the wedding won't be as fun as the Wedding we had on the TD Forum, but then its a real one!!! Btw, a lot of stuff is also happening on the professional / academic front, so its gonna be a really, really, busy year for Chilly!😛

Will try and keep posting once in a while, am off to Nainital tomorrow and will be back next week, gotta do some preparation along with Mom for the D-Day!

oh ho chilly !! Heartiest Congratulations to u and Aditya as well..that explains why u were missing in action for a while ....(and also explains ur other emotional posts). Its great that u r getting married to someone whom u know for long and most important love as well !!!

CONGRATULATIONS, Chilly! This is the best news I've heard this week. Wishing you all the best for the wedding!! I would love to attend your wedding as you made my e-wedding beautiful 😉 but it won't be possible. But my best wishes are always with you & hopefully you'll share some pics!

Thanks guys! Yeah, Swathi, he is the one I went out to Dinner with!😆 Believe me, anyone who knows me, would never take me out for Dinner, he is the only one who has been doing so for the past decade!

PS: I will surely post the Wedding pics! Dunno what to wear though? Lehenga's are such a royal waste, I look stupid in a Sari and my mom will kill me if I wear a Salwar Kameez...........that leaves me with no options! What do you guys suggest? Chilly confused!

Chilly, I'd say a lehenga.. there are so many different kinds. You should at least consider one of those designs.

That's great news Chilly. No wonder u were missing for the last few days of the E-Shaadi. U were busy with your own. Really very happy for you, happy that you are marrying the man of your choice and one whom you love and know very well. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!

Regarding what to wear for the wedding, sari is the eternal choice, isnt it? A bride just shines out in a sari. Go for a color that suits you best. You get good selections in Kanjivaram or Paithani sarees. Go for those. Then the next choice is of course the Jardosi or the heavy work sarees. But then of course your mom will know better isnt it?
