My take on Tumhari Disha - 2nd June '05

Another dumber filler episode😡.

When the lamps fall down I noticed one more thing. While the one in Dk's house gets extinguished, the one in Dish's place is still burning. Is there any meaning to it ? DK says that whatever bad that could have happened has already happened. Even I was also thinking. Whatever bad that can happen in TD has already happened. It can only get better than this (or will Guhas prove me wrong ?!!!). and I was thankful that Suhas stops DIsh from taking Kasam of Suhas then even if Dish had wanted to she would not have been able to be with Dk thanks to this kasam.

We had two songs yesterday. The 1st one was when Ved imagines DIsh (in a black churidhar with a dazzling dupatta) to be with him. The song was 'O Hansini'. Well from yesterday's scenes I was able to make out that Ved knows within his heart that DIsh does not love him. and that is why he keeps asking her if she will not give dhokha to him. Imagine both of them were dancing/twirling to a romantic number (in dreams) and at the end he asks her 'will u betray me?'. What a tragic end ??!!! 😆 Dish just laughs and moves away.and Inder comes and tells him that Dish may not love him. Ved is so irritated and just says 'Thanks for the concern'. But Inder does not take the hint and persists and mentions after her marriage to DK. Ved gets stronger look on his face and mentions more strongly 'I said Thanks for concern' . The way Ved and Inder look at each other.

The 2nd song was that 'Toota Toota Ek parinda'. One point to be noted was that DK imagines himself with Dish and also remembers a similiar situation of Ved with Dish as well. For eg when he remembered himself hugging DIsh he also remembered Ved taking Dish (while Ved was comforting Dish he had put his arms around her once) and likewise. This song goes on for a while. They show all 4 ppl involved in this marriage. Out of the 4 only Pori looks happy and overjoyed with the happenings. Ved and DK drink and Dish just has het usual look (confused/depressed) look.btw Suhas looked really happy with Rano.

Kareena comes and meets Dish. But it looked kind of forced to me. I mean she comes and suddenly tells Dish that she (Dish) tells even greater lies and that she loves DK. But of course it was way better than those cameo appearances coming to the party and just grinning and praising each other. Am sure Dish would not listen to her (Kareena) as well. I was reminded of the line yesterday 'God helps those who help themselves'.

Acting wise i liked Ved yesterday. Though a bit overboard with 'Am cool' thing but then i kinda felt sorry for him yesterday. He deserves someone good for himself. The way he says that he has not decided on honeymoon and will go with Dish's choice but has a questioning look on his face (something like does she really love him. What am i doing type of look) was cute.

In episodic terms we have reached the day of the marriage and its morning, The marriage is scheduled for evening.

SCENES/NEWS OF THE WEEK (May 30 - June 2 '05)

Anti Climax - Gargi telling Ved that she will eat only when Ved cancels his wedding with Dish but Ved refuses to stop the wedding.
Dramatic scene - Dk begs Suhas that he be allowed to speak with Dish. Dish burning the wedding invite and at the same time forced to listen to Ved's romantic dialogues.
Joke of the week - Suhas suspecting that Dish does not want to marry Ved coz of Inder 😆 😆
Drama Scene (Funny) - Suhas strangulating Dish
Filler Scenes - Plenty. to start with yesterday' s song scenes.
Turning Point - DIsh agreeing to marry Ved. Sanya refusing to hep Gargi to stop the marriage of Dish and Ved.
Volte Face - Pori bragging to her relatives abt her acting and when she notices Sum throws them out and changes the version.
Scene of the week - Not much of choice but among the scenes I would choose the scene on monday when DK begs Aazuba to let him meet Disha. The change from aggressive to yet again the (close to) weepy self.
Can be missed - all the 4 episodes of this week if you have read the updates.
To be noted - Its the day of the marriage in Tumhari Disha
Poor dk - is caught between his duty/love for wife and mom. Cornered by Pori and Ved. taunted by Suhas.
Surprised - that am still listing scenes of the week and writing a take as well everyday.
Missing - chilly in action. Where are u chilly ?

QUESTIONS

• The day of wedding has approached. Will Ved himself stop the wedding realizing Dish's love for DK ?
• What will be Inder's next plan ?

I agree with you. Disha's not going to listen to Kareena.. someone else has to stop this wedding. I don't even think Ved will do it 😕 the only thing that I can see happening is DK coming there after Sumi finding everything out. Once DK comes there, there's going to be a confrontation leading to Disha shooting someone as DK will probably walk in on Disha & Inder. Things will get pretty ugly next week too & I think the shooting promo will take place next Thursday & will end on someone screaming as to who she shot...

yip u r right its amazing how we r still glued 2 TD considering it is rather dragging now but obviously next week will make 4 some turning points..........

• ved keeps questioning dish whether she is happy with the marriage knowing well that she luvs dk............& he still dreams about asking her whether she will hurt him.........now comeon ved lets not b so naive........ofcourse u r going 2 end up hurt & u have no1 else but urself 2 blame 4 agreeing 2 marry some1 u know doesn't luv u..........
• as for inders next plan, it must be something quite drastic that leads to the "dish shooting scene".........perhaps he's the 1 who brings the gun..........afterall he paid people to beat ved.........now he is capable of anything i would say........
• i think suhas is blinded by her maternal luv for rano........so she will always suspect dish when it comes to inder..........perhaps it will only b after vijendra's re-entry that she realises she has always wronged dish.........
• Will Ved/DK come to know that Inder has feelings for Dish ? .......as mentioned b4 if this happens i would b ecstatic cos i really want to c some action b/w these guys😉😆........hopefully it will make indy realise what an idiot he has become.........
• i think all of next weeks episodes will really drag with kareena & other guests giving their 2cents worth advice to dish/ved/dk............I think the anjaam of the shaadia will only be screened next thurs, if not dragged onto foll monday.........

here in SA we've just watched the whole sting op etc.........i think the only saving grace of all that saga was that dish found out that gargi/pori were behind the entire thing..........also it was quite a delight to watch gargi & pori........i mean the way they spoke to each other & the dialogues used were so funny..........1 particular scene where gargi tells pori that she is young, beautiful & has brains...........now isn't that the insult of all insults..........yet both of them are using each other to get their own matlab out of the deal..........they also showed pori drunk & telling gargi that she never saw a more "kamini aurat" than her......pori drunk was a sight in itself & i couldn't stop laughing.......i thought gargi was about to slap her but nothing of the sort............

they also showed dk all worried about kanakas reputation with gargi still dealing with gundani..........& there was a scene where dk raised his hand at gargi & almost slapped her...........now where is that DK???😭 the no nonsence business tycoon who could take on the might of anything & any1..........hope they bring him back soon

1) I think so if Disha tells him the truth or else sumitra will come to stop the wedding and Vedant will let disha go. Bomby wrote a prediction on one of the posts so my opinion is referring to that.

2)Lol what else can the bunder plan to climb tress em mabey he will try to blackmail suhasni and disha saying he will tell Rano the truth and leave her if you don't stop Disha and Vedant gettin married or mabey he will try to bring a gun as everyone said earlier and try to shoot dk but instead disha will try to shoot him which mite lead to jail and i really hope the serial is not heading that way!😡

3) She has never understood disha neva treated her equally with Rano she would do anything for Rano and the first thing she will do is try to get Disha married with vedant quickly as she has no other plan of saving Rano's marrige.

4) I think Inder mite tell Vedant that he loves Disha and mite threaten Vedant to bake off her or something his obbesion with Disha is going to the limits and it is now becoming noticable so i think Vedant will found out and then ask disha if what Inder said is true!

5) Mabey Inder will realise his mistake get back with Rano The effect of Kareena's words will make Disha feel bad and mabey she will tell Vedant on the wedding day Sumitra will come in to stop it and Disha and Vedant will decide they don't want to get married and i hope there ain't any more obstacles cause obstacle and hurddles have come into Disha's love a lot now she should be able to rest in peace first she had to give up her love for her selfish mum and again for Rabno's happiness and Sumitra maa and Suhasni's happiness she has to sacrifice it again why does Disha always do the sacrificing all i can say is Vedant is being sad by forcing Disha to marry him and Suhasni is being a Git for a mum one of the posts earlier were about the mum being the enemy i would like to add in who needs enemies when u have ur mum who's there to spoil your happiness!😡
