Viveik Oberoi Post the Ash-Abhishek romance, Viveik has stopped taking all calls. We spoke to a friend of Viveik, to find out his state of mind. Viveik was upset, initially Isn't Viveik quite a shattered soul these days after his break-up with Aishwarya Rai? Says Milap Jhaveri, scriptwriter, who is a very close friend of Viveik and has known him for the last three years, "Everybody in life goes through ups and downs and Viveik is a very strong person. He can tide over any setback that life offers him. Yes, initially, he was emotionally quite upset; but right now, he is spending lots of time with his family and friends who care about him and is getting over the break-up. He is trying to face life with a smile." Milap Jhaveri He gets along very well "Viveik doesn't bear anybody any grudges. He is focussing completely on his career and looking at life as a great challenge. He's taken his emotional and professional (Home Delivery) setbacks very well and is currently very gung-ho about Vishal Bharadwaj's film. He is very happy and excited like a small kid that he's getting along very well with his co-stars (Saif Ali Khan and Ajay Devgan). Misunderstood Viveik's a very good human being, who is very misunderstood by people who don't know him. People talk about helping people and getting cheap publicity about it but what they don't understand is that if a celebrity is endorsing a charity is to create awareness about it. It is only then that the common man comes to know about it and they donate money which can be utilized for good deeds," says Milap, who has co-written the scripts of Indra Kumar's Pyare Mohan, Sachin Bajaj's Nakshya, with his partner Tushar Hiranandani. Currently he and Tushar are scripting for Rohir Shetty's next, Tushar's directorial venture and a David Dhawan film. She was indignant at the way he had been treated. After much cajoling we got her to talk. She didn't wish to be named but wanted to set the record right on the Ash-Viveik romance. So when did Viveik know it was truly over? The last day of the year. On the New Year's Eve night, they were supposed to go out. She called him and told him that she wanted to spend New Year Eve with him. So he cancelled his plans and waited for her. When she didn't show up, he called her to ask her where she was. And she said, "I am not coming. And I am not answerable to you." Didn't he see it coming? "Ever after the Mid Day story of the Ash-Viveik split, on December 6, Viveik refused to accept that it was over. Even though all the signs were there, Viveik held on because she led him on to believe that it was all loose talk. She told him that she still loved him. He should've seen it coming. All of us, his friends, kept telling him that the signs were all there. She didn't go to Zayed's wedding with him. She kept telling him that she would come for the Home Delivery premiere, but at the last minute she called him to tell him that J P (Dutta) was not letting her come down to Mumbai. She was shooting in Jaipur for Umrao Jaan. When did he first sense something was wrong? Two days after Home delivery. Ash had promised him a day before that she would come for the premiere but she called at the last moment and said she couldn't come because of her Umrao Jaan shooting. For two weeks Viveik kept on calling and messaging her after Home Delivery released, but she just stopped taking his calls.

After reading the article I felt damn sorry for vivek and thought of having his pix as my avi for a day to console his busted ego.. 😆 but then I thought of our daaku and gave up the idea 😆
