He is already tensed with the flow of events in his house and doesn't have the strength to take any more in the form of Sanjana as he know well none of his people like her due to the fake marriage issue. As it is they have lost their mamiji's love and he doesn't want to lose his mamaji for all of them because of his one mistake to accept Sanju. He doesn't want to get confused again in life when he had made a conscious decision to stay away from Sanjana for the betterment of his as well as her life.

I totally agree with you. He was not going to react any other way. He family is facing so many problems and he thinks she is coming to add to them. Completely justifiable reaction by him.
