So the justification that be given to "redeem" his character will be that he believed AnuYani were evil. From his POV, Anu knew about Swara's abuse and didn't do anything about it as she wanted revenge from him, Anu killed Malhar for revenge and AnuYani lied about Moksh being Mukku, and Kalyani supports Anu in all of this.

Now, I think he fully believes he's protecting Moksh from Kalyani. And he's blind to what AS and Avni are doing to him when he's not looking.

I'm 99% sure that AS will betray Avni at the end and that's how she'll be allowed to stay in AN. Cause I don't believe Avni has any means to make Kaka take back the case against Vivek nor does she have any intention of doing it.
