Do you know what I felt? I somehow felt that Deshmukhs knew Kalyani was alive and they did all of this on purpose to keep Kalyani away from Anupriya. Why else was Kalyani unable to find Anupriya all this time?

NO ONE was shocked or surprised to see her! I think AS knew for sure and kept tabs on her and saw that she was living just fine, so she left her be.
