This married look could also be from her previous relationship.

Or there will be some reason why he's pretending to be married to her.

The 5 year leap was unexpected. So if Arzaan ever comes back, it will be as KalMa's child not as Pillu.

Some other child will be roped into to play Pillu when restrictions are lifted.

This is definitely a case of memory loss as Kalyani wouldn't stay away from Anupriya for t whole years just to get revenge from Malhar.

Here is my logic

Ladki ke baap may want to take her back aborting the kid

So basically if Malhar says the kid is his and she is his wife baap can't take her away

Malhar may want to save the child as it is the only hope of Rane paarivar

Malhar wont be ready to look at a woman after kallu

Pillu as per them is dead

So there are no more chances of ranes having a kid other than this avnis baby

So malhar can take this step to save the kid from her dad.
