Yug tells Vrinda to ask Parminder what had happened on that day and to ask about her father. Vrinda leaves and Yug realises that he has to go back home. He thinks to himself that Vrinda needs him but realises his mom needs him more.
Vrinda's walking and recalls Parminder's words. Teji comes and tells her to forget about what Perminder syas and that even though she yells at Vrinda a lot, she loves Vrinda the most. He tries to make her feel better and tells her that he'll teach her how to use a gun so that no one will have the courage to say anything to her as they'll be scared. Vrinda tells him to leave her alone and she walks away. Radhika tells Teji not to worry about what Vrinda said as she didn't mean it but Teji says he know and that he was just trying to make her laugh but he couldn't even make her smile. Radhika tells him that he tried and that's good enough and that no one can understand Vrinda's pain.
Parminder's looking at Vrinda's dad's photo when Vrinda comes. She hesitates to talk and Parminder walks to the closet, takes out a folder and sits on the bed. She tells Vrinda to sit with her and shows her article from the file that Vrinda's dad used to collect and says that he really wanted a girl and he wanted Vrinda to be educated since other girls in the village didn't go to school and that at the time of her brth when Parminder was pregnant,he went to the city to earn money and that it was his dream that she became a doctor so that she could save lives and have her picture in an article. Parminder than says that after what happened 20 years ago, relationships were broken and Vrinda's dad's drema was broken. She then asks Vrinda to forget about the past and asks why she came. Vrinda just shakes her head as if to say nothing and leaves with tears in her eyes.
Vrinda goes on the bed crying and says she can't ask Parminder. Parminder comes and Vrinda closes her eyes, pretending to be asleep. Parminder covers Vrinda with a blanket and turns to leave but then Vrinda asks her where her father is and says she saw Pamrminder fast for Karva Chauth. Parminder tells her that he is alive and then Vrinda asks Parminder why she never saw him and why Parminder always called Vrinda unlucky. Parminder says that the day Vrinda was born, something bad had happened and Vrinda's dad had to leave and Parminder had to life her life as a widow. Every time she sees Vrinda she thinks of that day and hence she yells at Vrinda. Parminder tells Vrinda that she'll tell Vrinda what happened on that day but then after that she'll never look at Vrinda's face again as she'll be breaking the promise she made to Dadabeer and Bebe. Vrinda says she doesn't want to hear it because she can't live without Parminder and Parminder makes Vrinda take Parminder's kasam that she'll never ask about her father again.
Vrinda stands at her window and thinks about Parminder just said and then sees Yug's diary. She remembers telling Yug that he can't make a place in her heart by writing about her and Yug said that it's his diary, why does she care? Vrinda opens a page and reads how Yug wrote that he knows she doesn't need him but he's just there to stand by her, nothing more and thinks about how Yug said that God has given them a heart as well. The newer version of Tujh Sang Preet...starts playing while Vrinda has flashes of the time she spent with Yug and she hugs the diary.
Vikram Aditya asks Yug's mom if Yug came and she says he came last night. Yug comes to take his blessings but VA says there's no point as he is mad at Yug for not coming to the prayer yesterday. Yug apologizes and promises never to do it again. VA tells Yug to get ready when the phone rings. VA answers it and Vrinda says it's her who's calling. Yug gets scared when VA says Vrinda's name and VA tells Vrinda that's he's not Yug. Vrinda hangs up saying she'll call later. Yug tries to walk away but VA calls him and asks him how he knows Vrinda.
Pre-cap: Parminder goes to Vrinda and says that Vrinda couldn't keep the promise for even a day and it's her fault for actually trusting Vrinda
