I felt the same way after today's show, it feels like there is no down time for family drama or bonding of relationships as the villains keep coming at us, one after the other.

I am still really disappointed that cvs messed with the original concept of the show. The original plot had ample opportunity to provide powerful social messages around orthodox mentality & cultural behaviours - the same way in which DABH did. I truly think trps would have increased with these types of tracks instead of the typical vamps vs good tracks...I just can't help but feel sad when I think about how the show started & the huge potential it had, why oh why did cvs decide to change the direction of the show :(

Yes, Completely disappointed with all the villains. The Doctor is shady too. Cannot withstand Maasi. Hope Uma does not fall for the same nonsense again. That would be very annoying.

Yes completely agree, why is it that they always have to show an abundance of villains it's like there is no breathing room. I will however take Masi sa any day over Meera Mittal, that track was atrocious I'm going to wipe that out of my head. Yes exploring social issues is great, but I also wish they would have explored the whole changing Uma's ideals, also the dynamics of Uma and Kanak like conservative versus liberal thinking, how they tackle common issues, it's like after the Bangkok track they showed Uma changed overnight it would have been nice to see a change more slowly and gradually.

But yeah, like many have said, there is a huge trp pressure right now on the cvs and bringing in 2 tracks for this is actually a good idea... attracts all kinds of audiences. Plus, DABH also had a bit of family drama often alongside Sandhyas greater missions... hence I'm sure this track can be really good as well, we just have to wait. The only thing that would not be bearable is any separation/misundersrandings/mistrust between KanUm... KanUm should stay together physically and mentally buss...

Indeed, this TRP pressure appears to be stronger than I thought. Why, it can derail certain tracks, while promoting others. Powerful stuff this TRP!

Thanks for the comments. I dont think they can risk Uma becoming gullible to reason again. But...one never knows. My only hope is that they have some surprise up their sleeve, which might be revealed later.

Forgot to say that the dynamics you mention are an important facet of the show and make the characters more nuanced. That is why we love the show so much. Therefore I too hope they continue to explore interrelationships between the characters and bring it out more.

Thanks for the comments. Lets hope that they have something new in mind. Let us also hope that they do not resurrect Gabba Sa and Palomi.

Yes definitely a gradual change in Uma's mentality would have been more meaningful & satisfying to watch... I remember there was a lot of uproar around Uma's character with some people slating Uma & saying his character was negative to the point that they questioned cvs for glorifying him... so I wander whether cvs caved in to all this pressure & maybe that's why they rushed into a sudden change in Uma's behaviour... because I can't understand why else cvs would choose to do this.
