I was hoping for some emotion and today there was plenty of it. We just want KanUm and their love story. As long as they weave that into the screen play then other things become tolerable. Our leads looked lovely together. It was also Uma's day today. He was admirable in many ways.
In the privacy of her room, Kanak did not hide her sadness. Uma watching a teary eyed Kanak with concern was endearing. He was forever the gentlemantoo and saved her from embarassing herself. Then he was clever with the laptop and gave the credit to Kanak for inspiring him to think like her. đ
Later Saras inspired Kanak to talk to Uma but she chose to break the last of their ties by returning the mangal sutra. The scene was very smotional. Kanak admired Uma from a distance.( I got a little anxious for her laptop at that moment haha) He looked very much the decent dignified gentlleman. She admitted to herself that he still loves her a whole lot. How heartbreaking it was to know that they loved each other but still could not be together. They both felt it to their bones. They almost needed to hug at that moment and kiss away each others tears. Hope that happens very soon.
You could feel Uma's love for Kanak every step of the way today and that was really nice to see. Cvs this is what we want to watch, not some senseless crime drama executed mechanically. You could sense Kanak's despair too.
I think Uma thought like Kanak again and banked on Adi's kameenapan to send a replacement laptop to Meera. Adi is a serpent not truly to be trusted and I do hope it is Uma's ploy.
Have a feeling Akshay will tie Uma's mangal sutra on Kanak!
