The highlight of today's episode was the intensity of Kanak's pain and devastation.😭😭

It was of course, cliche that the leads were present in the same location, right down to the same building and did not get to meet each other. We will probably have to endure 3-4 more such trashy episodes before they actually come to face each other.🥱

No idea what Kanak did what that cute little red box, of dreams left unfulfilled after Uma's betrayal. Maybe she has taken it along with her, just for safekeeping. She definitely hasn't thrown it away because of course, sooner or later, she is going to be rebuilding and dreaming the exact same dreams with Uma.

On the other hand, Uma, who was pulled to the construction site by the haunting fragrance of Chandan, Kanak's trademark, immediately digs up the debris to look for the box and finds none. He also finds a broken piece of Kanak's jewellery, probably the only remnant of her memories that stayed back for him. He realizes Kanak had been there, just some time ago.

A little question here 2 saal se debris bhi nai hataya wahan se workers ne??😲😲😲

Anyway, he rushes down but sees no one. Kanak, true to soap opera style, has already left.

I cannot get Kanak's tear-stricken, anguished face out of my mind.😭😭 It is so so painful to even imagine that someone you loved and trusted with all your heart should leave you without so much as an explanation (I am pretty sure Uma did not explain why he chose to not marry her, else she wouldn't have termed it as dhoka').

Why Uma, why? How did you fall so weak and give into an outsider's whims and leave your beloved wife? The love of your life? What could have been the reason that drove you to commit such a blunder? Also, is any reason worth the risk of forever losing that one person you loved?? And after doing what you did, you still had the temerity to stay back in Pushkar (if I had been in Uma's place, I'd dare not stay in the same town anymore, out of shame and guilt at least).

Kanak though, had left Pushkar and every shred of memory associated with it. Her Bhabo, her brothers who never lost a moment to pamper her, the familiar setup of her spacious, comfy home in Hanuman Gali, and Uma. Because of whom she could finally grab her place in Bhabo's heart.

Today, somehow, Kanak finally landed home. Her very own Hanuman Gali in the famed Pushkar. The colours, the smells, the sounds, the people and the vibe of the place nothing had changed. But for Kanak, all this seemed like a lifetime ahead. Like she had throttled into this moment after ages, everything felt surreal, ancient maybe, warm and welcoming as ever but failing to touch her heart the way it did before her trust was shattered so brutally.

Everything seems to have changed in the Rathi household, and why not? Saras, as expected, is now the outsider for Bhabo, an old, angry woman who now closely resembles the pre-leap Bhabo at the start of the show passionately hating on Kanak...For no fault of hers. Now Saras is the one bearing the brunt of her brother's actions. I'm amazed they haven't thrown Saras out. I wonder how her relationship with Vansh is now, considering he had gone to the extent of even divorcing Saras before.

I don't think Saras is the ideal bahu anymore, taking care of Kanak mithai shop and home with equal ardour. Neither is Payal allowed to spread her wings too high. By the look of it, in Bhabo's words, no one was to use two things in her house dimag aur zubaan. Payal looked positively scared when Bhabo yelled at her for not cleaning up Kanak's room. And here I was, thinking she had maroed chaukas and chhakkas with her beauty parlour. In a way it's good, at least we dont have to witness daily vyapari competition between devrani-jyethani.

Bhabo wanted each thing in Kanak's room to remain just as it was just as she had left it.

While Bhabo was still going on a tirade, Purab received a call from Uma. Obviously, nobody is allowed to even mention Uma, let alone chit-chat with him. I don't get why Purab is still talking to Uma...is it because Uma is an influential man now and this chipmunk hopes he would be able to launch his so-called modelling career on the strength of Uma's favors?😡

Bhabo looks pissed as the phone trills into the air. Purab lies saying it's a friend who's calling. He immediately excuses himself, goes to the other room and begins talking to Uma. Uma asks Purab if Kanak has come to Pushkar, Purab says no, she hasn't come once in 2 years. Wonders why Uma is asking about her whereabouts. Uma mumbles some nonsense and ends the call. He is pretty sure Kanak has come to Pushkar...and asks her to forgive him for not fulfilling his promise.

This wasn't just a promise Uma. This was a sacred bond you just let go. You broke someone's trust in the cruellest way possible. Is any reason big enough for a loved one to do what Uma did? There is no forgiveness for this, IMO. If I had been in Kanak's place, I would never even have thrown a glance at Uma, let alone talk to him.😡

Anyway, Kanak stands outside the entrance to the Rathi house, recollecting the way she had exited this town, her home, leaving behind her family and every memory of Pushkar...and Uma behind. That flashback scene dug a knife through my heart, literally. Rhea Sharma is powerful with emoting. So beautifully has she conveyed Kanak's predicament. She steps inside the Rathi house taking nimble steps, walking in slow motion. Bhabo, who was leaving the house for some work is shocked seeing Kanak...standing at the doorway.😳😳

She gasps, "Kanak! her pain and anguish shooting through. No words are exchanged for some time, Kanak and Bhabo pull each other into a much-needed hug, with the tears flowing from two pairs of eyes...eyes that had desperately wanted to see each other in the past two years.

Bhabo is crying, but is also joyous...her granddaughter was finally back home. Overcome with emotion, she calls out to everybody in the house, asking them to rush over and see who has come. One by one, they all lumber in. Ved, Purab, Payal, Saras...all rush out to see who the surprise guest is...and are overjoyed to see Kanak standing before them.

Kanak hugs everyone, warm niceties are exchanged. When it was time for Kanak to greet Saras, she sees the latter's face falling, hesitant, as Bhabo looks on angrily...Kanak realizes Saras' awkwardness instantly and yet, throws her arms out and asks for a hug. How adorable she is! I know it is not rational to punish your ex-fiance's sibling for the former's fault, but it does take a big heart and a clear conscience to accept the other person like nothing has ever come between them.👏👏

Bhabo butts into this short sweet moment and pointedly states they can talk later and don't have to chit-chat standing at the door. Orders Payal to get the aarthi ki thali and the gift she had chosen and wrapped for Kanak...our girl is surprised...the aarti happens, and then Bhabo gently coaxes Kanak to open the gift and see for herself.

Kanak excitedly unwraps it to find a wooden nameplate bearing in name in gold 'Kanak Rathi sarkari pratinidhi ' or some such similar designation.

Overwhelmed, she looks at Bhabo...Bhabo fixes the nameplate outside their door and proudly says out loud aaj se Rathi Parivaar Kanak Rathi ke naam se jaana jaega.

This is a surefire signal of Kanak rising up the ranks, becoming a powerful politician...and well, we all know, who rules this country, isn't it? Kanak, powerful and strong, an epitome of women who don't give in to fate's blows.

I am just waiting for that day Kanak will browbeat Meera and put her in her rightful place, Uma or no Uma. And for the sake of the strong and dignified woman Kanak is, I don't want her to give in to Uma, even if he comes crawling back..which he will, since this is a show.😲

In fact, in all honesty, I want a fourth angle to be added to this shoddy love triangle'...but this time, I want a man worth his salt wooing Kanak and doing everything in his power to stand up to her shine. I want Uma to see this and regret what he lost, irrespective of his hundred and one excuses.

Maybe that's when the real fun will start...I want Kanak to laugh again and be loved for who she is. I want her to be fought for ...even if it means fighting the whole damn world for her love...that is what she deserves. She deserves nothing less!

If CVs care even a slight bit about the original storyline of DAB, they will not make Kanak look like a weakling in front of Uma. They will treat her character with the kind of respect and ferocity with which they treat Sandhya's character...it is Uma who should come begging to have Kanak back in his life. And even then, Kanak should ideally not entertain him too soon.

After everybody's gone back in and gotten busy, Kanak sneaks out and looks longingly at the name plate, thinking back to how Uma had sold her this very same dream ...of a nameplate bearing their names outside their dream home..

Just a few miles away, in the very same Pushkar, Uma is sort of fantasizing about his dream home with Kanak, looking longingly at Kanak's name written boldly on his palm (what kind of majnoo aawaara love is this?!!), when his eyes capture Meera's name on the nameplate...his reality, far, far different from the dream he had once seen..

PRECAP - For some reason Meera is getting the room cleaned up, when she finds Uma's face sticking out of a photo frame lying in a forgotten wooden box..one she had probably never seen. Curious, she picks it up and realizes it is the same girl she had had a tiff with some time back. Furious, she calls Uma up asking him to come home right away.

Uma is perturbed.

P.S. ARE THE CVS TELLING US MEERA DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HOW KANAK LOOKED LIKE? SURELY SHE KNEW KANAK EXISTED IN UMA'S LIFE, FOR SHE HAD DONE EVERYTHING IN HER POWER TO SNATCH KANAK'S RIGHTFUL PLACE AND LODGE HERSELF FORCEFULLY IN THE DINNER DATE DURING THE PRE-LEAP EPISODES.

I just want to die. Just want to give up on this show. Keep thinking of Adi and Maasisa track which was way, way better than this shit. I do not understand HOW on earth Kanum are supposed to be diya and baati when Uma is busy caving in to every rule and excuse in his own book? For all the money he has earned and the influence he now garners, why does he wag his tail around Meera? Aisi kaunsi majboori hai bhai??

Loved your analysis, thank you for that. Kanak is shown very strong and thank god for that, anyone else in her shoes would have broken into pieces, and Uma I just don't know what to say, how the cv's can butcher his character so bad I just can't comprehend.

I absolutely agree with you that what possible justification can the cv's come up with for all this. 😡 Why, why did they have to show Uma married to Meera ? They could have shown a million things, why did they go to this extent.

I totally agree with your points and even i need that kind of plot in the show as whatever the reason might be but giving promise and not staying to that is not at a man quality and what ever the problem might be after solving all kanak to live uma and want to live a happy life which she deserves.
Rhea did a fab job yesterday and i got remember of genelia.

Good afternoon have nice day.

OMG! my colorful update is back 😊. I really missed your update dear.
Thank you so much for you awesome analysis. I should say ur the best 👍🏼. Not missed one single scene in your analysis. Great!

By the way TRP has go down because of Bhootni entire in the show. I knew TRP ka tho what lagani wala hai and that what extactly happened in the show.

Well, Uma sensing chandan smell that was really nice. Kanak's line was awesome Mine and Uma's relation is just like this incomplete building 🥺
Oh! Purab is in touch with Uma. Purab is very cunning guy. He is good toward Uma for his own benefit.
Old Bhabho is back with a bang her strong voice and now she hate Saras because of Uma. Feeling sad for Saras.😭
Yes, finally Kanak reached to her hometown pushkar. While she is entering Hamuman Gali she was all lost in the memories. I wonder how can Uma hurt Kanak so much when she was with him in all his bad times. Kanak cared, loved and recused Uma from Massisa's evil trap. Kanak was shattered completely in the FB scene very painful.

An emotional moment between Kanak and Bhabho I was crying watching the scene. Bhabho is proud of Kanak.
Kanak greeting everyone was nice. I thought Kanak will ignore Saras, but no she hugged her so sweet of Kanak. I hope Kanak sorts the issue between Bhabho and Saras.
Well, the name plate scene of Kanak and Uma was adorable. Uma is hurt for what he has done for Kanak. Overall good episode was peaceful without Meera in the track.

No comments on Precap...I seriously hate to see her face on the show.
