Hey there all the lovely people!!
I was skeptical about posting a review today, because my work, my words are being copy pasted across various website without consent or credit - that's highly insulting to a writer.
I can use the members only post restrictions but that would leave many of the silent non members hanging... so keeping them in mind I let it be open. PLEASE don't steal hard work of others without credit.
Coming back to the episode...
Let's cut through the farce and get straight on point - the system has failed in delivering justice... there was this idea that Kanak should take the help of police in getting her KMB back and other what not track but when finally the system gets involved, it's biased and against everything sane. The lawyer was bribed and the judge hasty to deliver a sentence... Uma is sentenced ten years of imprisonment, the earth beneath their feet shifted, KanUm looked at each other and they could literally see their castle made of sand slip under the wave that crashed over it... their hopes for justice dashed to the ground, the shards of it piercing them... Kanak walks up to him, they hold hands she says they would support him, they would appeal in higher court... he looks at her defeated by all the evilness that conspired against him. His one arm pulled by the law and other in Kanak's hand, he is being pulled by two extremities one towards happiness and light and other to the pit of darkness. The way his eyes look at her, as if it's the last time, his world losing from his grasp, he walks looking at her taking her all in. While she stood with tears rolling down her face, clouding her vision, by the time she realizes it he has already left the room, she follows him as he walks away towards the sentence he has to suffer... he sits in gloom and he turns to see her standing there, the hurt in their eyes, the distance between them although bigger than the ocean yet their hearts stood together grasping each other, refusing to let go.
It's revealed that Massi has fixed an appointment with death for Uma - Kanak stands for a minute reality sinking into her and she gets into action. Kanak and Vansh try to get hold of bed to warn him about the pending attack. Whereas Ved is with Uma helpless, even his khaki couldn't help him, his hands tied all the more. The police van is attacked by subair and his men, Ved warns them not to take law in their hands, the police is outnumbered by the goons. Ved falls unconscious and Uma is hit on his head from behind - a man who has just lost ten years of his life, is again being hit in the back. He turned and sees the nightmare Subair - Subair and his party men are everything that's wrong with the society at the moment, a bunch of people who think they are above the law, system and even humanity, they judge the life and death of a person based on the amount of money they get - the mockery made of system is for the future track probably so that the leads can take the matters in their own hand, pretend to be thugs for it's a different world for them - subair tells that his wife (Kanak) threatened to burn them all, now he would return the favor to her husband... Uma is drenched in petrol and the match is struck, the fear in his eyes evident, yet nothing comes out of his mouth, no words that he didn't murder Palomi, Uma just stared at the match in horror... everything he had known about life just went up in flames right in front of him. There is nothing wrong in being sacred, fear is what makes one feel alive. The adrenaline that pumps and fuels the action, that gush of blood to the veins - that's life running through one.
Avinesh is just freaking amazing, the expressions, the fear, the spine chilling sequence of being brunt alive is just indescribable - the idea of putting a life of fire is just beyond me, so excuse my lack of knowledge in being able to explain the horror I felt while watching that scene.
