I think the "thing" that Massi sa has been waiting for is the medical break through or something Uma is currently working on.
I have been meaning to post this for a while.
I noticed when Massi sa said, Uma can't die, all my hopes will be crushed.

and when she was all smiles when Uma was working on mixing some herbs while starring at Kanak. Massi sa mentioned "you have been working on this for long, keep your focus". And when Uma said this will be ready soon, she was really happy.
Therefore, I do not think this "thing" Massi sa is waiting for is property papers (she already holds 50%), i do not think its physical cash stored away somewhere.
I truly believe its bigger then this...it is some invention, which she can make millions out of.
Think about it, she already has the property and she can get what she wants from Uma by simply asking for it. So it must be something that is not currently available to her but is yet to come.
