Massi might be video conferencing with pharmaceuticals overseas, emailing them the update that the money should be ready as the medicine is coming through soon. She must have had arranged buyers over the years.

I am thoroughly enjoying the Kanum scenes but I am pretty confused as to Um a staying away from Kanak part. Firstly she wears the mangalsutar and sindoor so she is his wife not fianc. Isn't that what they do in dramas and movies , use mangalsutar and sindoor to get married. Since when did Uma Shankar register for the first forced marriage. Secondly, while uma is refraining from sitting with kanak together and then asking her to go and have lassi.

Kanak and Uma are playing boyfriend/girlfriend, fianc fianc and married couple all in one.
Kanak wears the mangalsutra which Uma himself tied, as she never gave it up even after divorce. It's a part of her identity as she has accepted it... yes a lot of shows do that tying a mangalsutra and sindoor means marriage, but Uma and Kanak are waiting for a big fat wedding at the moment, to create memories, and actually enjoy getting married to each other... whereas earlier Uma just picked her up and due to sanket just forced her to marry him - that guy is gone, he wants to do everything equally/mutually...
Uma is only refusing Kanak's mischief, as Savithp said just not getting cosy' - it's a phase where the girl is making advances and the guy is stepping behind, the changed equation is interesting to watch.

Just watched the episode! Nothing much happened but you gave a beautiful description of it...one minute uma calling her for date and sometimes shying from her!
