When all property belongs to Uma. Im assuming everything is inherited, from his father, so how can Uma write off everything to Maasisa, this can be contested by Shiv, suman and Saras. All that belongs to Uma also belongs to family, maasisa can be booked for fraud.
This is my understanding of legal inheritance laws and not a qualified legal opinion!

But Dear, Uma cannot take a decision for what belongs to other members of family, his mother is still alive, so 4 other people involved. In any case Uma mother is titular owner, so how can Uma write off anything in the first place, this is not possible legally.

Guys this is the reason Kanak claimed that Uma was insane when he married her. if she prove that he was insane, then whatever documents he had signed will not be valid.
Or may be Maasisa herself would have declared uma insane to get the property in her name and only a GPA confirming all the transaction is missing in action?

Thank you Jaya but i have a different opinion. How can maasisa just declare Uma or anyone insane, by what proof when entire Ladno knows him as Dharam ka devta and calls him Kohinoor, now if Kanak declared him insane neither marriage is valid nor will alimony be needed as not applicable.

I think it's about what Uma gained by his own work, heritage could be a small part of it. Anyway, only Uma, maasa and Saras are in right to inherit Uma's s father's properties.
I don't know indian laws but Maasi as owner can sale any property and make cash money and run away with her offspring. Law hardly can do justice in such cases.
But in my opinion only if Kanak is fighting for his heritage can justify her act. Else she should let Maasi take all, Uma would never be a beggar because he can make money, he is not a leech like Aditya.

I still hope cvs will justify Kanak's decision to risk her marriage and bet on Uma's feelings.

As per Hindu inheritance laws whatever belongs to Umas grandparents are equally distributed between uma father n shiv father, or if property only belongs to Uma father then legally only wife, uma and Saras can get property as inheritance. I doubt if Uma father earned property so if uma father inherited then Shiv and Suman too have equal rights.

Nowhere Maasisa can claim that property that would be fraud in my opinion.
