I was pondering on the idea that last time Uma confessed his love their relationship was kept on the flames to turn it to smoke, it was submerged in the water to suffocate the life out of it... now that Kanak has confessed and both of them are to tread on the path again - their relationship would again be in tatters for Kanak would pretend to be a gold digger so that Uma gets back his property/money - she has it all in that moment, he her world was complete yet she was bothered by the cheating Massi. - - -

Confessions are never easy, especially of love... the fear, the anxiety, refusal all claw down on the heart, trying to cage it, to not let it fly, for the the fear of hurt is innate.
Kanak looks around for her missing heart, she thinks she lost it on the way somewhere, till Uma brings it out and asks if she was looking for this - this is the subtlety of the whole concept of love... over time living with Uma, Kanak lost her heart to him, he became the keeper of it until one day she finally realized that she was in love with him. He kept her heart safe, he didn't read it, for he didn't know what to do with it... he tried returning it but she says it's for him - he is clueless, hesitant hands he opens and reads it stoically, Kanak snatches back and says it's no way to read a love letter - Uma is ignorant in the matters of heart just like everything else, it was all in his hands and yet his approach to it was indifferent... Kanak confesses that she loves him and loves him a lot... she has given him her heart, her life and herself... finally the magical words are out and he hears them crisp and clear, yet there are lines on his forehead, he is unable to make sense of anything, he reminisces about the time she was angry about their marriage - this shows the extent Uma had shut down, the words had sealed his heart, earlier he was expressive about his feeling to his wife, but then he closed up, went into a shell, he is still in a shell, for the words pierce his mind and soul. Words that meant they weren't compatible, that their marriage ruined SarVansh... it wasn't in his wildest imagination that Kanak could fall for him, for he wasn't like her... But it's when she twirls around shouting that she loved him and she loved him a lot, she hugs him without hesitation that the frown breaks and he smiles a bit...she expects the magical words reciprocated but she is ready to wait, she gives him all the time to respond, for she has confessed/expressed her feelings, the mountain has been relieved from her heart and shifted towards him, it's his turn to open up his heart and let her in... to accept the place she already has staked claim on. He informs her that he has asked the lawyer to postpone their divorce as they need more time... Kanak promise him an eternity together as they can't be separated... it's by then Uma has thawed and he smiles- he is hesitant to invest himself again but he is prepared to take baby steps towards their relationship...

Blue - thank you for the insight. Kanak is the hero of this story. Uma is a mental mendak. She is the one burning to save him. Not sure why Mls have to be stupid for shows to succeed.

True that Anjana, no matter what show or channel the ML is supposed to be dumb one way or the other.
The FL has to bear the torch and over power the ML.

Love your thoughts and agree with them. But I'm wondering why he remembered that particular scene? About Saras antim sanskaar. Basically, he decided on a divorce because he was arguing with Vansh, without asking Kanak, like always, does he even have the right to "shut down"?

Today's episode represents perfectly the main characters. Kanak is impulsive, joyful, expressive and sometimes even immature. She lives life to the fullest.
Uma is someone reserved, calm, mature and mysterious.
I loved Kanak's love confession❤️, Rhea's expression was so nice⭐️, i expect more from Uma.
As always we had maasisa's touch of wickedness😡.
Precap, Palomi scares me😕 she has a screw loose🤪.

I am not very confident of Kanak's move in regards to that.

Massisa is a cheater and liar and much more. She will turn anythign into her favour at any point of time.

Based on Massisa's promise, Kanak is giving up her relationship with Uma is actually not an intelligent decision.

But it's a daily drama soap so let's see what will happen. I am sure Kanak knows Uma worth more than anything but I think she don't want Massisa get away easily.

Nothing much to add the love confession scene dear blue.

You described the whole scene so beautifully and it's so detailed that I keep reading it and watching the scene again.

It's so beautiful even Uma didn't say yes yet but he is giving time to himself. I am sure he have any doubts that he loves Kanak but he is again not ready to

open up to Kanak. Kanak took 4 weeks for confession and Uma may take a week and we will be able to watch it sometime next week.

Well I am not so sure how or what Kanak would do, but Massi's dialogue today that -today Uma gave Kanak a place and position tomorrow she would show her true colors - this dialogue added with Uma's dialogue front he OlV that Kanak has done "Rishton ka suada this turned me towards the whole gold digger angle ... but let's see what happens...
Kanak doesn't always have the smartest of plans... but it all remains to be seen that how is Uma the sleeping beauty raised from his Massi enchantment.

And I knew she will ask for divorce to save uma and his property like i said in one of my comment earlier
And so his anger towards her and snatching mangal sutra and marrying palomi becomes clear

But we can also look at it as a good sign
The forced marriage will be ended and then they can start a new journey and marry again with consent

Uma was so brilliant from the beginning and star of the show that for trps they made him dumb :'(
Why o why u can still get trps with kanak vs masisa but for thay u do not have to butcher his character
