Hey there all the lovely people!!
Apologies for being late. But damn the guy playing Aditya, he is doing it so well 👏 song of the day is "coming to the khatiya 🤣 ... although I am offended by his take on women, his creepy gaze and scum like gestures but still he seemed funny... is this another development on his character to bring it from the extreme negativity to being a jester.
Now to discussion...

It was outright wrong for Payal to get married to a picture, to be in a home without her husband, to be a mother to child - yet Payal was getting ready, being decked up as a bride, setting her ornaments right for an order was issued for her to start a new life and she is doing as instructed.. the moment Kanak says this is not right and she should stay away from Aditya as his touch and gaze exude the creepy guy vibes, Kanak questions has she not felt it,her life would be ruined if this relationship is continued/consummated... out comes the suppressed and oppressed soul of Payal, she screams and shouts that she didn't choose any of this, she loved someone else and one day a demon came in between them... a demon who crushed her dreams, her love and caged her in this house, a demon who has brought ruin to Payal is none other than Uma Shankar - the irony is that Payal might not have chosen the alliance, yet she walked with her own two feet for the pheras, carrying the photo frame, she walked in to her in laws house/cage... she was given an opportunity to escape by Kanak, yet she returned influenced by her mother for the fame, property and money, she became a sipoy for Massi, she happily accepted shiv as her son, she is the same woman who bowed down to touch Aditya's feet when he came home, she carried his photo all night awaiting his arrival - whatever happened with Payal was because she let that happen to herself, she never developed a mind of her own and has conveniently placed all her woes on the demon - Uma Shankar, who she would never forgive. She compared herself to Kanak, who was forcibly married, Kanak got married but she never stopped fighting, her spirit remained unbroken, she did not give up the moment husband and future came crashing on her. Kanak might not have been always right but she did fight and is still fighting.
Kanak listened to Payal blaming and accusing Uma, yet she didn't reveal the evil deeds of her husband who tried to molest her and is absolute demon in the truest meaning of the word - it would have been an epic husband war, what states with Aditya being bad ended with Uma being a demon.

Kanak confronts Ved about his love life, surprise that she can call him at such a short notice and question him, she accuses him of not sharing with her- hasn't she been hiding everything from him. She didn't call to rant about Aditya or Massi or Palomi for their evil doings... she never shared her woes with him but expects him to share stuff with her..
Kanak has another issue to resolve, to make Uma understand that Aditya and Payal cannot continue in this relationship. She walks in to witness the alleged demon, praying for Payal, for he acknowledges his mistake for which Payal has suffered a lot, he prays for her happiness and Aditya's for their new life - Kanak comes to a conclusion that Uma's heart is of gold, he unconsciously makes mistakes due to Massi's influence other wise he is pure gold. - it's the appearances that are at play, Uma who was portrayed as evil by Payal is praying for her well being and happiness whereas Payal is bears everything in silence and never utters a word of disobedience has vengeance against Uma in her heart.

Payal needs to look in the mirror for her villain.
I do, however, wonder if the blindness of Uma absolves him?

Both Payal and Uma are adults. Does external pressure from Maasi or Society or Dharam or Uma etc. absolve either of them?

I like aditya...he is ghatiya n happy about it. No pretense no denial no apology. It's the Maasi n Uma of the world that are more dangerous. The clever and the foolish. An inurface bad guy is easy to protect oneself from

Hey there Anjana
Thank you for reading and an honest comment.
The answers are all in there, Payal is a victim of her own self yet it doesn't absolve Uma of his wrongdoing. The mistake he made while he played the thekedar of dharm.

And bang on about the people who are like Massi or Uma that are dangerous, the manipulative and the manipulated - these are two sides of the same coin... these are the people which can never be signaled out to be cautious of, they are there in plain sight yet nobody sees beyond appearances.
People like Aditya are rare, the besharm kind- who live by the rule ~jab paida huey nange tou kahe ki sharam~

Hi superstar blue,
Brilliant analysis as always!! Payal is brainless and stupid. She never use her brain, though uma force her but she didn't fight with uma or with her parents. She did get chance to run away by kanak but she didn't take it. She plotted with her mom against kanak for money, jewellery and property and even she jealous of kanak because she has a husband like uma and she didn't, same uma who she call him demon. Kanak always help her even took a blame of stealing for her, she lost the patience test because of her ,there are so many incidents where kanak stand by her but she couldn't stand for herself and easily balme uma. She really didn't deserve ved and she need redemption but anyways she got a husband like aditya is itself a punishment for her, he is such a cheap creep.
On the other side Uma is praying for Payal and his brother, uma thinks that everyone in his family have a pure heart like him .

Dear blue

Happy to see you rofl. Adi actor is too good in his acting that don't know what to make of Adi.What made him what?
There's no single bone of decency in him and I think that's the most dangerous thing. the person who don't care for anything will can go to any extent.
In Adi case we know it won;t be for any good reasons that's what makes me scared of him. At least Massisa wants some thing and trying to act accordingly but don't know what will happen when she gets that.

I loved the way you reminisced about Payal life so nicely. I guess Payal is a typical girl whom we can find in normal life too.
Payal looks like she always followed her parents not because she want to but because she thinks it's good for her. Payal never had her own thinking and never respected her own thoughts. She never able to stand up to either her own parents, Uma Shankar or any one
in her life. The person who respects themselves will choose their own choices and will stick to it either they gone wrong or right and always believe
their life is in their own hands just like Kanak.Payal is completely opposite. She may have hundread dreams and ideas but some one always can easily persuade
her to do their way. Payal is also happy to follow them but when the time of result comes she is going to accuse that person whom she followed.

In this case Uma Shankar. Whether that's being selfish? May be but that's the sort of life she led all along. Her parents are also never gave her chance
to go otherwise. The greed and fear are also will make a big part in not trying to have their own decisions. The inability to take a decision is very common in life.
If we don't have any greed, jealousy etc then it's so easy to choose the right choice but every one will be entangled with insecurities. Insecurities cause greed
and jealousy if they are not capable to feel secured enough on their own strength.

How many parents will give the chance to their kids to take the risks?

Risk of making a choice of themselves then teaching them to learn from those choices and guide them to the right choice and start the choice again.

Sadly some parents don't let their kids make choices and they will go this pattern of believing that they don't have a choice to speak out or act out or any confidence to stand by themselves.
I guess that's what sums up Payal. Hopefully ved will give her that choice and confidence in herself.

I am also puzzled by Ved. He confessed he loved Payal. Then why he didn't face Uma Shankar and told him that he loves Payal and can give better life to her rather than what's on offer.
Whether Uma would have listened or not secondary but it would have given confidence to Payal.

Uma's people hit Ved and Ved didn't come back to Ladno? A polcie officer he couldn't do much as Payal's parents are refused to file a complaint but what about as a lover?
That's all to stop you when you clearly know your beloved living a soulless life with a photo. What would have happen if Aditya didn't come along. All her life Payal would have lived like that?

He could have atleast should have confronted Uma and Payal and should have told them he would be there for Payal at any point of time.

Anyway story didn't turn that way but I would have much respected Ved if that's the case. But it also gives me a bit of doubt on how their future life will be when none of them very strong.
Payal is so easy to be influenced by her mother and we all know what great lady her mother is. It will be very interesting to see how Ved character would be developed. So far he seemed very level
headed and genuine person. His patience and understanding will make their life much easier but would love to see him help Payal make her own chocies otherwise she always will be ready to accuse some one.
I think she is going to call Uma demon whole her life. Yesterday, she didn't have a single wrong word for any one except Uma. If some thing goes wrong with Ved also, Uma would be accused again?
I think Uma will have his life time issues for his wrong act with Payal.

I just want to share this parable with you.

One evening, an elderly Cherokee brave told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.

He said, "my son, the battle is between two wolves' inside us all. One is evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.

The other is good. It is joy, peace love, hope serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

The grandson though about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "which wolf wins?

The old Cherokee simply replied, "the one that you feed.

This story sums up Massisa and Uma.

Uma feeds his good wolf mostly where as Massisa never feeds her good wolf at all.

Being Uma is not so easy. All his life so far until kanak came into his life, every one followed him and no one ever doubted his decisions or actions.

Out comes our Kanak as a true mirror to himself in which he started seeing himself differntly.

The mirror broke to hunderead pieces. Can Uma still get up and pick up the pieces and continue the journey of self reflections of right path.

I am very eager to see the journey of this Kanum.

That's it. Sorry. Lot of nonsense. It's bunch of random thoughts that i had I put in.

Sorry if it looked confusing.

Please feel free to correct me if I am wrong anywhere. These are my thoughts. They may not necessarily correct. Would love to see your take on it.

Thanks for the nice analysis Blue.

I think Payal should be blamed together with her parents. Specially Payal n mom always were cunning to trick and cheat for jewelry n wealth or property. How can she blame Uma for everything? I agree that Uma was wrong to get her goana with pics of young Adi but her parents were there to give away their daughter. Then Payal could have run away or complain to police. She had access to phone to gossip with her mom but not to call cops. She had no mind of her own all this while.

When Kanak tried to help her run away she blamed Kanak with help of her mom. What a hypocrite she is. If she really loved Ved when the last time she saw Ved she didn't tell Kanak anything. Instead she made Kanak get in trouble.

When Adi was to come back to Toshnival's house she was ready to accept her hubby She hugged pics for 2 epis. How convenient of her??? Now she's remembering about her love Ved? She should be ashamed of herself for not fighting for herself than blaming others.

But gotta agree with you this guy playing Adi is doing great acting...

Good and Precise analysis Blue
Payal is a vamp how dare she is shifting all blame on Uma at her own covenience she is highly hypocrite she was misleading toshniwals acting as good dutiful bahu to lead a luxuorious life now she is accusing uma its not fair she was well, educated she could have opposed the forced marriage could have raised a complain in station using ved help or atleast she could have run away when kank at her own risk gave her chance but she didnt use it.Even now she was roaming with adithya photo waiting for his arrival. What guts she has to blame uma as rakshas does she not have brains to think. She was brainwashed by her mother she does not have boldness to speak her heart out😡How can she compares hers with kanak kanak was helpless that time. She stayed back for a genuine purpose why payal accepted and took pheras with photo isnt that ridiculous Payal is a selfish lady she was at the back of royal life only she did not mind about physical presence of her husband.I am sure if adithya was gud person she would have immediately done her patni dharam she was keen on status she would have accepted adithya wholeheartedly if adi was not a womaniser. But what uma dis also a big blunder i really dont know in which book of dharam has written a girl can be married to a photo its a big sin committed by uma unknowingly but he has a golden heart always think about others happiness. He is very innocent knowingly unknowingly he makes big mistakes and then feel for it.Sill i cannot accept the fact that when payal fell in love with ved ?when did she realised it i am sure she wouldnt have expressed if adithya was good like uma.She is always jealous on kanak for getting nice loving husband like uma .Ved deserves a better girl payal is not suitable for this sweet guy.Payal will spoil destroy Rathi parivar.

@manasa
Hey there
Thank you for reading and a wonderful elaborate comment.
It might be long to read but it makes some valid points, it's each to their understanding.

Well it's a fair point that parents often don't give a choice to their kids and they kids are expected to fall in line, kids don't revolt and the over bearing parents mould a child as per their understanding... Payal has been such a kid, who had to accept her parents decisions, it's not because they had given her no choice, they made a decision for her and Sheba accepted it. She never once sid it out loud to her mother that she loved Ved or anyone. She didn't want to marry a photo, she ran from the mandap only to be returned influenced by Uma's words. (The same words of Uma was heard by Kanak and she choose to fight rather than commit suicide and give up... it's each to their understanding) - this is the type of people who do halaat se samjhota.. that there is no other option in the horizon of their understanding.. they don't realize that they are the victims and when they do realize it they blame other rather than accepting their input in the mistake and learning from it... while Uma was wrong and his scale is heavier but that doesn't mean Payal's side of the scale is empty. Payal as a character has only been used to undermine KanUm... to bring out the insecurities of the such people who instead to learning to love themselves are busy being jealous of others.

The whole Ved being beaten by the goons in Ladno was stupid. He didn't even know Payal was in Kanak's family till thy met in mandir for the cctv footage from police station... what kind of police officer he is has been raised many times and yet there is no development in his character.. he is straight as an arrow but he is half baked.

The story about feeding the wolf is one of my favorite- it's a lesson to learn, to feed what, what kind of plant does one nurture, or water is it the thorny cactus or flowers. One becomes what they fuel and give power to.
Being Uma is not easy, but the chaos that has ensued by his hands is quite evident... he has made his share of mistakes... its when he accepts that he has done it and owns up to it, that makes him human and more relatable.

Hey blue , nice post agree on payal
Rest i didn't feel yest epi... It was dull nothing made impact
Nor payal scene, ved scene or last kanum scene
Everything looked so rushed
No thehrav that I expect From kanum scenes
Why are they rushing ved payal?
Well I gave up on ved payal pair when payal turned grey going against kanak but then she got aditya
Now instead of pondering on her own karni she is blaming everyone else

Uma redemption on cards but not in such a rushed manner
Hope they focus on kanum scenes and character more and not on villains

Hey there Foram

Definitely the thehrav was missing in enforcing Ved Payal track but the KanUm story is on full stop.
Ved Payal has no solid foundation, two confrontations in a single episode- way too fast paced for a daily soap - while everything is happening KanUm is not happening.
Everything between them is only for a scene and then forgotten the very next second.
