MASSI SA KA THE END
Uma had called the police in the hospital just when massi sa had growling for forgiveness in front of Kanak , Massa sa, and Uma. Uma refused to listen to anything. All he said was, " I can't believe you could do this! " . He had an ocean of emotions want to break that dam of all that he had been taught in the name of dharam. The cracks had already emerged when Kanak came into his life. Uma comforted himself with the sight of his mother and her hands extending out to him.
Massi sa screamed and yelled, sometimes threatening to kill them all and sometimes, begging for pardon. But the police led her out of the hospital into the police car.
One of the things Kanak heard Massi sa yelling as she left was that Aditya will come and get them all. Kanak seemed slightly worried that a new problem might be knocking at the door of their life. " All was is not good yet!", Kanak thought. She approached Uma and said , " let me ask the doctor if we can take her home." Uma nodded in appproval, eyes still full of shame and guilt as he looked at Kanak.
Kanak left the room as Uma turned back to Massa. " Why did massi sa do this? We loved her and gave her everything! " asked Uma.
Massa gasped but slowly replied, " Beta jealousy can lead you too burn everything in sight. She was always jealous of me. Since we were little girls. But I never imagined she would go this far! I watched you all grow and be brainwashed by Nanda. I couldn't do a thing! I was so helpless! " . Massa began weeping at the thought ! Uma tried comforting her by saying, " All is well that ends well!"
" Exactly!" , reiterated Kanak from the entrance of the room. She came right beside Uma who was sitting on Massa s bedside. " The doctor has said we can take her home as long we keep bring her back for ongoing treatment. "
Uma smiled at Kanak, partly with gratitude and partly with shame for all the things he had said to her in the recent days. He realized he didn't deserve Kanak's forgiveness. How could he forget that Kanak was Shivs Prasad and was sent for a reason. This was the reason! She came as a messiah into his life! Rude awakening indeed. Here Uma thought for the longest time that he was tolerating Kanak. What could he do for redemption and forgiveness? But before that could be figured out there were bigger questions to answer. Like how far was the damage that Massi had done? Where was Aditya and what threat could he pose? How could the emotional and psychological damage be reversed especially on the little ones, like Suman and Shiv?
As Uma muttered some of his thoughts in worry, Massa overheard "Suman and Shiv". She teared a little before she said," Uma, we have to find a way to tell them someway that their parents were not killed in a car accident but a homocide planned by Aditya and Nanda."
" What?! Massa, Chacha sa and Chachi sa were killed by Massi sa?!" , asked a surprised Uma. 'How low could Massi sa stoop and how did Aditya participate in this? ' thought Uma. All he knew was that Aditya didn't comply with the Niam of the house and dharam so Uma and him had an argument which ended with him leaving the house.
Kanak knew the worries that were eating at Umas brain right now. She forgot and forgave Uma for all that had happened in the past month and said, " Uma, we need to go home first and explain everything to everyone. They must be waiting for us". She put her hand warmly on Umas. Kanak had never stopped loving him.
