well, we kept on asking..? why kanak didn't go to police first time ( after returning from kerala ).

From todays episode, I UNDERSTOOD, case would have booked on herself for stealing original documents from Uma...forget about uma getting him to jail..very smart kanak, but

plz plz...cvs..should stop using kanak as poster child for smart women of the younger generation as quoted by arpitha in todays serial...

More than inspiration she raises lot of question to the modern generation.( massi- sa was rite with respect to kanak as modern girl )...

women of modern generations are v. smart, bold, honest, hardworking and respectful..the kind of choices and decisions they make..makes them a star.

kanak is a character no where near to the " soch' of smarter generation.Honestly, plz reinvent the kanak character or do not compare her to women of smart era.

How can a modern girl change colours so quickly??

Now our modern kanak will give us a naya soch by returning to uma to bow down any superstitions in the name of luck...

Really she is a jock of modern girl... Even if somehow she endes up not signing paper, 2day's lie make destroyed her character.

Uff these cvs.. today Kanaks keeping mum n not telling 100 truth hurt me so much that i am hating bubbly caring loving Kanak... Cvs plz listen..

Though i watch it for pure entertainment and fantasy, i would straight away ask which modern ideal girl will go in search of one beardman without telling anyone without a plan etc. There she was forced in to marrIage , steal the property paper and runaway. Again going back by breaking the relation with your own family stay with a man in the same room and bed. Only in these fantasies husbands dont consummate immediatly. I can never live with a person like uma( the present form) in real even it is forced/ arranged and can never do any inch of the stupid things that kanak did. So for me they are pure entertainments. But at the same time i am cautious of the way these mediums push on us certain things that are against human values and against women. That i am clear about it.

If Kanak is epitome of modern woman then CVs have a very low opinion of the modern woman. The character is well intended, but lacking in self respect n self preservation, flighty, confused, immature, etc. Not an inspiration or role model. She is no soch not naya soch!

Sorry - who are tsms people? MCP is male chauvanist pig. So totally confused what you are trying to say.

Uma is chauvanist in my opinion. He treats Kanak like property. She has to go home with him - his decision. Her "no" is irrelevant. Branding because they didn't know her identity. Not being allowed to leave the house alone. No cellphone or private communication with family. We will call your family - what is that if not chauvinism? Purifying her because another man (a bangle seller) touched her hand? Asking her to drink wash water after cleaning his feet. All of these things screams out how much Uma does not in actuality respect Kanak. He wants a maid servant, entertainment, etc. not a partner.

The female lead is not an inspiration. The male lead is a MCP. Most viewers are hopefully enlightened enough to realize this and not consider either of them to be role models that should be emulated.

I think this is not a modern girl story, this is her story. A story. A different story.

How often a modern girl could meet a retrograde person who force her into marriage and then she falls in love with him? By this angle how could she be a model?

Then, as a character, we can't judge Kanak after one month, the weirdest month of her existence.

And after all what is the definition of a modern girl? Never lie, never afraid, never bent, never wrong? Every time falling for the best guy?

Or if he is a modern guy is always a good guy?

Please, don't bash Kanak! 😊
