Kanak starts by saying 'When I came back to your house, after running away, the reason I gave was all lies. I didn't come back for you, I came back for my shop, Kanak Mishtan Bandhar. Infact, I did everything for that...'
Kanak stops talking and stares at U-S who doesn't look shocked for a bit.
She adds on 'after knowing the truth, will you not say anything? If you want to say something then do so. You can even can get angry at me, but I wanted that shop at any cost. You made a strange girl your life-partner following God's signals but I, I made being a wife, these 7 pheras, and being a daughter-in-law my mission, in order to re-gain my shop. Flashback to that security scene with Uma asking 'what do you want? I'll give you anything, I promise you' as Kanak takes a pause.
In present, Kanak says she doesnt want neither the necklace nor the money as she holds out a bag for him with those items. She says that had she asked for only the KMB papers, then he would have gotten suspicious..she adds on that she has no right over those two items. She pleads for him to take the bag back.
Uma does not move for a while but takes the bag emotionlessly in the end.
Kanak says 'Whatever I have done till date, I have done it for that shop. That shop is very important for me. Yes I lied but I have never hurt anyone in the 20 days that I have lived with you to regain that shop. Everyone is good/happy.' [really gurl, I can think of 4 people who wouldn't agree]...'Thats why I had to tell you the truth'.
Uma is still as a stone with no emotions showing on his face, after a bit Kanak tells Uma to say something and not to stay silent.
She says 'I understand there must be something that going on in you on the inside...Uma say something'. Uma still says silent.
Gabbasa comes and says 'we must leave, we're getting late. Today is a celebration, Registery office might shut down before we reach'.
Kanak shows slight panic, Uma and K stare at each other for a while but then Uma leaves towards the car.
Gabbasa asks K to come along but she says that Uma has not told me to come along with him. G says yes but he didn't say to come with him in the first place either, Lets go Babhisa.
BG music plays as K slowly follows behind and sits in the car with him. They reach the Reg. office while the song is playing.
Cut to Meena who's looking at her (or lack of) grey hairs in a hand mirror, she's talking to herself that Vikram would taunt her that she has gotten old if she had grey hairs. Rani comes in and starts buttering her up while keeping her eyes on the ring (?) on the house keys. She asks for a selfie with Meena who agrees and says why 1? to take 2 or 4 selfies. Rani starts to take the pic with one hand while her other hand tries to take the ring from Meena's waist.
They try a few positions with Rani being unsuccessful in her mission. She ends up taking her ring back while complimenting Meena that todays everyone will go crazy over her beauty.
Cut to K-Uma leaving the car. Uma pauses walking towards the Reg. office but ends up walking in with K.
In the office, the employee says all the papers are ready and gives it to him. Uma reads it and asks where does he need to sign it.
Kanak thinks 'this is strange, I don't understand anything. Even after knowing my truth, he didn't say anything to me and he's still even transferring the shop in my name. Maybe this is the calm before the storm.'
The employee gives Uma a sign and tells him where to sign and Uma signs it as he remembers Payal telling him the truth about KMB.
He pauses, K asks "have you changed your mind? Are you not going to complete the registry? I have passed all the tests therefore I must get my reward. You promised me Uma." Uma says that the pen is not working and she breathes a sigh of relief.
He asks for another pen and finishes signing, Kanak also signs the papers. The completed paperwork is given to Uma as the employee processes it. Uma says give it to her and K takes it happily. She says "thanks for understanding me and giving me back my shop.'
Cut to post-Uma giving his talk, K says "its very strange..when we first met then there was a prayer for Shivji and now we're seperating infront of Shivji. Shivji is a witness of our very short story.'
Uma says "[sorry didnt catch the first bit] They can see everything." Kanak says 'Yes, They must have all seen that we are not made for each other. Isn't it so?'
She adds on that 'I'm seperating from you here. From today onwards we will go our seperate ways.'
Uma just silently stares at her, after a bit she adds on ' when we left the house, you understood that that we will not able to stay/live together'...'Uma think of this relationship what you will...but once you look back, you will understand that in the last 20 days, we have atleast fought over hundred times and how would we not (fight). Our thinking and lifestyle is very different, we are not made for each other.' 'You need a life partner who will convert/adapt to your dharam and you. Who will respect you and your dharam and live by it. I need a life partner who will accept me as Kanak, who will not ask me to become Rambha, Daasi or Laxmi. Our roots/thinking are so different that forget about husband-wife, we will not even be able to become friends.'
Varmala falls on them [I saw that hand who put it on editorsđ] and Uma has another flashback of the first varmala scene.
Kanak tries to remove it after an eye-lock but it gets stuck. Uma tries to remove it half heartedly, Kanak interrupts saying 'this is true that I have stayed with you for my self-interest but it's also true that I also fulfilled all the relations in your house with my heart. I will never be able to forget that family. I don't know from now on, in what way they will remember me but if possible, make them understand my helplessness. I will pray to God that He forgives me. I will always remember your family. I loved them with all my heart, I cared for them, I connected with them'
Uma says 'only you could not connect with me. Isn't it so?'
An eyelock with BG song, the 'Mere Piya' one as Kanak walks away from Uma and the varmala breaks. Uma looks at her standing there for a while then looks at the broken varmala thats still on his neck.
Preview: Ved threatens Uma, K tells him to leave it and says 'it's good that he freed me from that marriage forever and fulfilled his promise. Uma tells Gabbasa to go back to Ladno and bring Maasisa. K and her bro's are shocked to see Uma in a mandir in their city.
