When maasisa teases Kanak she gets angry and asks how Uma can reveal about their incident to anybody else. And he tells he didn't tell what you have done..
He never even mentioned that she is not ready for consummation.

Just want to have a point of view on first point?

1. Do we take forceful marriage to suitable, handsome, wealthy, loyal boy big deal??? Or his 29 years dharam getting destroyed or stealing papers of somebody property?

What Uma did is not justified... But in one of the sisters serial a very ugly looking servant married I guess adaa Khan and she loved him after few days.

I was thinking for forceful marriage legal options are available. But making somebody drink which he/she totally despises a nd questions existence beliefs your life is based of that bringswhat punishment? Is there any legal expert here?

So is your theory to justify the kidnapping n forced marriage because Kanak tried to give US alcohol? Wow! The first is illegal and overriding of a woman's will. A woman who was fighting, biting, crying and desperate to get away. The later is stupid and US didn't even get drunk. Also Kanak has repentented but, US still bases his decisions on sankets.
Also I don't get the comparison to other shows to justify US that many posters these days are making. That there are other soap or real examples does not make any instance where a woman is kidnapped or forced to marry legal, ethical, or correct.

Lastly, there are a plethora of similar posts by other posters...it is against forum rules to make multiple posts on same topic. Please look and see the half a dozen or so similar posts you will get your answer as to the legalities

Also in terms of imposition on one's personal freedoms - US dictated what Kanak wears, how she does her hair, no tea, no cell phone, what time Kanak gets up, when Kanak eats, what she can or cannot eat. Is that not forcing his dharam on someone else? What about trying to tatoo Kanak with a hot iron in the name of religion...it is amazing what viewers are willing to accept from male lead as appropriate

Would definitely agree with @Anjana.
Mjust because the forced/kidnapping marriage been done before (in other soaps) doesn't justify this ones. Having so many wrong out there doesn't make it right. What's wrong is wrong.

Prank vs Crime

What Kanak did was Prank and no one life turn 360 degree by that

What Uma did was crime and trying to dictate Kanak's life

Can I ask one question?

Why is suddenly everyone making multiple topics to prove Kanak is a criminal?

When she did this act along with others, everyone was silent-ish about but suddenly now the male lead is getting arrested for a deserved reason.

Everyone now wants to prove that Kanak is just as awful as Uma and thats she's a criminal and should be arrested too.

When their so called 'crimes' are very different in nature, and one is far much more disgusting and inhumane than the other.

On the topic:

1) Kanak getting property papers is not a crime...Uma gave it to her by choice, she didn't steal it.

Yes I take a forced marriage to anyone a big deal whether the man is rich or poor or handsome or ugly. I take a lack of consent to be a very big deal.

2) Dharam getting destroyed is wrong but not a crime (legally) because you should never enforce your beliefs on others.

Dharam being questioned is not wrong though...one should question everything in life and never just live by injustices because of Dharam/Religion/Law or whatever is imposing their beliefs on to you/others.

Decieving someone to drink alcohol is disgusting and cheap, doesn't matter whatever the reason is.

It's not a simple prank for someone like me or Uma (who don't drink for religious purposes) but it's not recognised by law either as a crime. It was deception not force.

But yes I would have lost my cool had someone wronged me so...

Questioning beliefs is good and fair...imposing your beliefs or trying to break someones beliefs (those beliefs that don't hurt others eg. Not drinking is not harming anyone at all whereas say honour killing in the name of religion is wrong and hurting others) is completely criminal in my eyes but not in the laws eyes (actually imposing is a recognised crime in some places).

Also because he never drank it and karma got to her, it's not really a crime in my eyes either.

Its good you brought the alcohol incident, because thats probably the only time Kanak tried to unsuccessfully attack Uma's body autonomy.

Either way tho, at the end of the day Kanak didn't pick up an alcohol glass and make him forcefully drink it. Uma did forcefully pick her up and put her on the mandap.

You're comparing apples and bananas...two very different things. One being wrong will not justify the others wrongness or make it any less wrong.

Hey u are absolutely correct about umas action not being justified... May be my post didn't convey it... I just wanted to know of any legal consequences of Kanak actions ..
Regarding making similar posts I dint know if there is any about Kanak actions.
Making reference to other serial I was not aware of rule...

Sure will be extra careful going onwards...
Making comparisons doesn't justify it... One just tried to understand the pschology behind it... Nothing else.

I don't know about other posts.. but if a have a question I ask it, that's it.

Regarding asking for alcohol incident , I learned recently that there is punishment even for 10 rupees found on road and not reporting to police. So was just having legal discussions.

As I know forced marriage doesn't even counted as marriage ...

That's it...

Was not making comparisons atleast in my head... May be my post coveyed it..

Thx Ahlaam...
You saved me time writing a long speech...
God why is everyone comparing thing...
We should look at the circumstances which let to them...(uhh not in the forced marriege case...god sankat is an interpretation off sign...which will be read differently by each individual)...

US is going to get what he deserved...I want her m to realize and repent...
Kanak behavior was off a spoiled brat who didn't trust her own family nor has used her common sense...plain stupid...

Hey, guys, why dispute again about what 's good and what 's wrong in a fiction story?
I agree sometimes we go with the flow and slip in a zone of " Should have been" or "should be", but let's make it "i would like to ", this pressure it's not fair for cvs' work.
We all are here because we like the show or love the actors, anyway it's a fine reason.. Being "Her" or "his" supporters doesn't help our goal. Let's be a team!
