TSMSP's music rules in the silence between KanUm on this last journey together. It is beautiful. After telling her goodbyes, Kanak finally focuses on Uma. Uma who is the captor of her dreams, jailor of her soul. He acknowledges quietly that he is the unshed teardrop of her eye and she the stone that he could not melt with the fire of his love. His profile, stoic with a pinch of sadness. Hers, guilt ridden.
Kanak is close to getting the shop. She knows that she needs to stay quiet but when he tries to defiantly hold on to the relationship by declaring that Kanak is observing the teej fast for him, she cannot bear any longer. She tells him the truth. I hope she tells him the whole truth about the shop so that there are no more misunderstandings. She tells him that she is leaving him for good. Sad for Uma, but it is time to take his blinders off. It is time to realize that one cannot forge relationships of the heart through force.

Oh God! It was super touching. The lyrics of each and every bit of music used in this show are beyond everything I've encountered thus far. Kudos to the singers, musicians, and lyricists...👏

I am so happy Kanak has decided to tell Uma the truth. Her "fraud" was pretty much the only chink in this otherwise wonderful girl. I think she will come clean about everything. And this makes a big difference rather than Uma having forced a confrontation with her.

It shows that she is genuine...she has a conscience...and she's not as selfish as Uma or someone else may perceive her to be. It also shows that honesty was important for her and that being dishonest with Uma all this time...no matter what the reason...went against her innate nature and had been weighing on her like a rock.

I once again felt sorry for Uma today. I mean...he deserves whatever he's getting...but his realization that Kanak was able to form bonds of love and friendship with every member of his family...except him...Ouch!!

Yes Fatima, I confess I watched the song part a few times. Kanak might miss her rommmate only after she takes him to be a good person, not daaku singh.

Wonderful analysis Deebz and Fatima! This confession has been a long time coming and finally Kanak can get this off her conscience. She has spoken her mind on everything to the Toshniwals, even at the expense of losing her own tasks, but whenever it came to the nature of their relationship she's had to bite her tongue for the sake continuing her deceit, which she felt was necessary for winning back the shop fraudulently snatched from her family. What Kanak hasn't been able to say in words the song conveyed so well.

And Uma has such a different perspective on the same matter. For him the "divinely" indicated relationship is a real thing. And he keeps testing its validity through more signs. And then when things are rocky he either wants Kanak to prove herself (pariksha, seeing how she handles Rambha task) or he thinks the situation just requires more patience and determination on his own end.

Glad the show is finally progressing ahead...

@Parul, You are so right. Uma looks for signs from God to validate his decison to marry Kanak. He should now look within himself to start see how to make it work.
