After reading several posts about Palomi and Uma-Kanak, I have found that several of us don't like her. But I don't get the reason why. Kanak herself told Uma that love just happens, and it has its own signs. Is Palomi's only fault to love Uma. She is legit in feeling upset or jealous when the man she loved for years marries a girl after meeting for barely a month and gives so much importance to her. Uma never looked back at her. She kept longing for him. And Uma on the other hand likes Kanak and has started to fallen in love with Kanak when she makes so many mistakes, and Palomi does everything with care. During their visit to Kerala, we know why Kanak is doing all this, but Palomi does not. She is Uma's well-wisher and thus suspects Kanak when she is talking to someone in phone. Palomi was not lying. Kanak did pass the scorpion test. But how was the feeling that the person you love does not hear one word of truth from you, and show possessiveness to his wife, and tells you he does not trust you anymore. All this because of the wife's fault. I am not against Kanak. I too want Kanum to be together forever. But blaming Palomi because she is sad or thinks that Uma will trust her more than Kanak is just a wrong thing. Up to now, she never did anything. And it's not so easy to forget your love especially when he is right in front of you. That too falling in love with his wife. I don't blame her for not being able to forget Uma, but her screen space is really disturbing.

From what I can tell...Palomi is not a bad person.
You're right...falling in love is a subjective thing. However...if everyone went around following their desires in life without any sense of morals or rules...there would be nothing but chaos in the world.

I saw the movie Bajirao Mastani...the character I felt the most for was Kashi bai...she did nothing but love her husband...yet some other woman (Mastani) comes and stakes her claim on her already married husband.

"Dil ka kya...aaj ispe aa gaya...kal kisi aur pe aa jaye ga."

Similarly, Palomi is wrong to continue to long for a married man and hope that he leaves his wife for her...🤔

I think Paloumi currently doesn't believe their relationship is real though? She keeps saying "naam ka rishta" so she's thinking there's something fishy in the marriage that is going to come to the fore sooner or later. She has some sort of inkling that Kanak doesn't consider the shaadi binding and that Uma is hiding something. Perhaps the day she feels Kanak and Uma's relationship is actually real she will give up her secret longing and move on, but till then I think she's content to wallow in the "what ifs" and also ok with the trickery that Uma's younger sister keeps trying on Kanak. Actually one day I want Paloumi to put a stop to Uma's younger sister's antics and tell her to start acting her age! It's ridiculous all the plotting that girl gets up to.

Loving someone is not fault but...
Is Palomi antics justified to bring down Kanak in front of others

She's been living with Uma's family longer time , Uma's sister likes her a lot why they haven't tried to talk with Maasi and get them married

Atleast Kanak would be saved.

You make a good point...Palomi knows the reality of Uma and Kanak's relationship.

Still...she sees Kanak working hard to pass the good wife tests...and she doesn't know Kanak is really after the sweet shop...so she should keep her feelings at bay. She does this by and large...but slips every now and then by allowing Suman's antics. Like you, I wish she'd put a stop to them, but she won't because she is hoping Kanak gets thrown out of Uma's life.

loving someone isn't wrong.
Her fighting for the trust she lost is right...but to consider herself more important then a wife by gaining back the trust...that's wrong...

I hope she can let go off her feelings soon...but she will need time...
And she should stop suman talking evil about kanak and trying to interfere in US and Kanak relation...because she is keeping silent now everyone is looking at her to be the evil behind suman...while suman is doing it everything out off her own...

I couldn't agree more with everything you said. To add to that plotting against Uma's wife and eavesdropping on their convos is also wrong. Uma did not love Palomi before Kanak and that hasn't changed. Why direct animosity toward Kanak? Realistically she should hate Uma for not seeing her love. Instead she practically worships him and hates Kanak. That is why some of us, me included, don't like Palomi's character in this show. She is harboring love for someone else's husband. Wrong!

Uma feels nothing for Palomi and Massisa knew that. That's why she keeps telling Palomi to get over or hide her love for Uma. Now if Uma and Palomi had worked out, and Kanak was spared, what show would we be watching? As Palomi agrees with everything Uma says and does, where would the conflict come from? Don't forget the tension and excitement? 😉

That's true where we can see such romantic scenes and background score 😳
