Hey there all the lovely people!!
Patience, trust, respect are more heavier than they seem to be, it takes years to build trust, respect and patience.. the ability to control but not suffer/suffocate. Silence is not patience, nor if screaming one head off, it's the attitude one has while being in that phase.
Kanak tried every prank she played in the past, to make her case that she stole the jewelry and threw it out, she tried very hard to take the blame on herself and she had almost succeeded as she used her past antics to advantage, all is going against Kanak till Palomi steps in and says Kanak is lying... she had a few lines to say which she did very beautifully 'Payal is not my enemy nor Kanak my friend' she states that she saw Payal taking the jewelry in that piece of cloth and Kanak stopping her but Payal proceeding nonetheless.
There was no choice for Uma to not believe in Palomi, she had taken the responsibility of being a witness to the whole scene... it was between truth and lies that Uma choose the one with a more credible story... but Palomi took it as Uma choosing her over Kanak, -- no dear it's not going to work out like that, just because he didn't side with a lying wife doesn't mean he choose you over her.
Kanak blasts Uma for announcing punishment for Payal, she becomes the voice to that pent up volcano that had been active underneath for a long time now. Kanak accuses Massi of not correcting Uma's mistake, for he brought a girl home married with a picture, and gave her a room, a confinement of four walls, providing food water shelter and jewelry is not enough reason to be married.. all this is already provided for in the paternal home, so why bother getting married. She questions the needs of a married woman---and in her stance ' aurat ko pati aur santan ka sahara chahiye hota hai' she finely points out that as the husband is not in the picture, Payal can't mother any children either and Uma's one wrong decision has wrecked havoc on payals life. Kanak asks him to do justice with Payal, as he brought her home with promises of keeping her happy. -- although Kanak laments opening her mouth, losing her patience and ultimately the task, still whatever she said wasn't wrong, -- what she did was cutting her own feet, but the eye opening lecture was much needed in the change is to bring in that house. Kanak went through Uma like a savage, but still she didn't loose the threads of respect, she stated her facts, her point of view, her perspective because she cannot tolerate injustice. --- while Kanak was having an epic showdown, Payal stood there still in silence. Kanak has time and again been caught in the line of fire due to payal... Payal doesn't even admit to her fault when two ladies are fighting in front of her truth n lies. She is just standing there like a dummy. What is her character I am unable to understand?? Just a silent dummy when who errs again and again and cannot even admit to it, or even lie to refuse it. She wants justice, she wants position, she wants everything but cannot strive for it, let alone speak up for it. One who wants to play victim all the time, letting other fight her battles, and be served in a golden platter all the time -- life is cruel and those with such tendencies are often left longing and envious of others.
Kanak wakes up in the morning to see that she had won the mantry (advisor) task, without even knowing it. Uma explains that while she lost patience she gave him another perspective about Payal, and hence she won the task. Kanak thinks Payal is getting married again, and thanks Uma for being a big brother to Payal on raksha bandhan. Massi praises Kanak to being able to take on the house.
