Hey there all the lovely people
Here is a short episode review.

Often in life there are situations when one is alone, nobody is watching and one is tempted to commit a mistake/crime. It's that one moment which shapes up the future of having control and being good, or giving in to the temptation and being guilty of it. God is omnipresent, wherever it's that Almighty who plays the role of big boss..watching over everyone, even when one is alone. It usually the voice of 'zameer' that stops one from doing something bad.. ever since Kanak has taken up honesty as her mantle, her commitment to repent and get the shop back even God is acting as her savior... she does get thoughts of cheating but is pulled back on track by God. Today also she was inches from eating that rasgula, but she looked at shivji's idol and remembered Bhabhos teaching that God watches all and realized that she is doing God's work and shouldn't cheat.

Uma walks in watching her immersed in work, she looks back at him in awe, she asks how is he different from others.. he has no likes or dislikes, eats boiled food, lives with discipline and rules, fasts all day and is ever ready to treat his patients-- it's a chain of questions about Uma that Kanak asks, not because she has a motive, she just wants to know how he does that. How has he managed to be different. She questions if he longs for something, something that makes him restless.
Uma replies very simply that like a house is made with brick, with right leveling and balance, the same way individual life can be structured. He confesses about his longing that he longs for his father, whenever he sees a father son, he is reminded of his father, he wants to go back in time to be that carefree 5 year old, who rode on his fathers back... Uma narrates it with such simplicity that Kanak couldn't resist placing her hand on his shoulder, her offer of comfort though incomplete is acknowledged by Uma, he smiles and she pulls back her hand. --- a very simple scene, with all the elements of tugging at the strings of heart.. we as viewers too might not want grand drama, but such heart to heart conversations that join them together, their memories to sharing together.

Payal is having nightmares regarding Kanak... she is obsessed with Kanak, her desperate attempt to talk to shiv was weird, shiv is a little kid who does what he wants, what if he read the stories with Kanak or will read the next one by himself.. why is Payal running behind him.. shivs rejection makes Payal burn in jealousy in which she pours water on the painting Uma and Kanak had been working so hard on.
While everyone is admiring the portrait and appreciating the hard work, water falls and everything is left in ruins. Payal lies that water fell by mistake. Kanak and Massi knows better. Uma is angry in her but Massi asks him to have patience.. Kanak steps forward and says that she would make amends and everything will be done on time, suman tries to dissuade her, but Kanak is determined to fix the pairing as it's the family tradition and she wants to beat Payal too. --- what Payal did was basic trick from the book of evilness, planning plotting and executing it all by themselves, lying to the face and playing the victim card by saying my ankle twisted but I am sorry.
Kanak fixes the painting all by herself, more determined than ever before.. this is Kanak, who never back down from any challenge put in front of her, especially when she is working to clear up somebody else's mess.
Kanak and Uma carry the painting to mandir and ladies appreciate it. Massi comes forward with a gift for Kanak. She hands her the keys, Kanak is shocked but Payal is going to pass out of anguish. -- Massi here has played a master stroke. She just didn't give Kanak the keys just because she was happy with Kanak, but to put an end to Payals antics of undermining Kanak. She place the power in Kanak's hand to put Payal at her place, that love and respect is not snatched or plotted but won with determination and love.

Hey blue. Sorry haven't been replying and commenting on ur threads. Been a lot crazy and busy with life, I liked how Kanak was trying to know more abt Uma. And how Kanak could feel the pain of Uma missing his father.
Payal, is another story, she has been plotting ever since her mom gave her the idea of Kanak gaining the power of the entire household and not Payal. The eye lock between Payal and Kanak when she was taking the bucket of water upstairs gave me creeps for some reason.
I liked how Kanak was able to correct and finish the painting and maasisa commended her. I was actually waiting for Uma to tell the village ppl that it was Kanak who was majorly involved in the painting and who perfected it and not Uma himself.
Getting the keys of the house is a huge step in Indian household. Payal would definitely plot something evil and try to show Kanak down. Kanak being the goody goody person, takes the blame for Payal.
I am hoping that Uma doesn't believe her and tries to find the main culprit.
So now my question to CVs, which I think we will come to know tomorrow, did Kanak win her patience test or not ?

I think Kanak lost the test as she lied & took the blame on herself. Uma does not like liars.

There was no need for Kanak to support Payal , she will never learn from her mistakes if Kanak keeps trying to protect her

I just loved this review, @blue.
Good depicted every scene. Thanks a lot for detailed translation of KanUm talk. During those moments of two i like to feel the nuances of every reply they say. Uma is happy, even eager to answer her questions, to open his soul towards her and he likes what his answers arouse in her heart, he likes to discover her. Awww, what a scene! ❤️
Kanak won his heart today again. And Maasisa's too.
Good remark about Massisa's decision to end up Payal's wickedness by giving weight to Kanak.

The patience test had not already finished? Their deadline was five o'clock, before Payal damage the painting, i guess. And what connection does her mistake have with patience?

Hello Blue, you call that short review...😆..it was long review for me...

You are bang on with it...I know K fixed it, I am still thinking how she did it though...oh well...it is a soap..got to remember that.

Are we heading towards kitchen politics now, as the showdown is coming up?

The show became more intense after the changed timing...

US and K conversation was what I was looking for...more abt each other with each task she gets assigned to...they understand each other better...

Biting my nails thinking abt revelations...

Nope, at the temple,Kanak said , I still have 4 hrs for the test day to complete . So she said to Uma, don't make any assumption that I already won.
Exactly, liars and patience don't go together in the same test. So I wonder what the CVs will do . Fail Kanak or pass her.

Agree with this 100%

She's only giving more courage to Payal by covering up. This is not the first time she's plotted against Kanak nor will it be the last if Kanak doesn't do anything and continues to act blind.

I really feel this isn't the time to be a FL. Just get the papers first and then try to be mahaan. But Kanak will be Kanak.

I really wished that she would actually touch his shoulder to support him.
