She told her family about the marriage because she knew she could not run from the fact. But, she was still far from accepting it. To be fair I don't think she thought beyond obtaining the papers and protecting her family by telling them about the marriage. She had a plan for what to do to get through the door and then made an on-the-fly plan about obtaining the papers, but it was the oongli at her parvarish that got her to say she won't leave.

And it was his request that she join him in the pran to Shivji that got her to reflect. His words impacted her and their private conversation in the room got her to agree to give this fledging marriage an actual chance... a chance to be herself and see where it takes them. She still has her doubts, but is now thinking beyond Bhabho ki shop to getting to know US and for him to know her.

From that perspective US is the winner. But, Kanak has not lost anything by giving him a chance and will gain the love she has always desired.

I think staying and giving this marriage a chance is Kanak's choice as of today. The marriage itself was however forced and it will continue to be held against him. He doesn't get how wrong he was. He is not god and he forced a girl to marry against her will. Also down the line it will create drama when he meets her family... when he meets her fianc, etc.

I beg to differ Shali. US talks to his Shivji that he in anger was going to throw Kanak out.
That means he didn't plan that, there was no trap to make Kanak stop. He was willing to let go of his prasad for it seemed vish for his family, and anyway she was going to flee, or so he guessed..

To call today's conversation a trap by US and Kanak falling in it, would downright malign the beauty of it.

Now, coming to the today's episode, I thoroughly enjoyed today's after a long time. Loved the emotions that Avi and Rhea displayed and also liked their dialogues.

Now I am waiting to see the turn of events between US and Kanak and see what else natkhat she does. And how US handles the real Kanak.

Palomi is something else. Didn't like her evasdropping on such an important scene.

Question for all the users here: I am not a huge Bollywood fan either, though I am not US-like extreme. I live outside India and don't usually have access to Bollywood movies. Is the Sita-Geeta thing, like from movies somewhere ? Like someone behaving like their twin sister or something. Sorry if I offend anyone with such a stupid question

The episode was brilliant today, right amount of everything.
Just not the presence of shadow on Kanak and US. That's extremely creepy and annoying.

And your question about the film is not at all stupid. I haven't watched Sita geeta myself, but I know the context that there are twin identical sisters, one is sati savitri type and other is naughty, a little goon type... they both are completely opposite from each other.

@Anjana...agree with the analysis, he does not see how wrong he is yet...or as per him it is not wrong at all..he just accepted the prasad from god..will be interesting how the story will unfold when he meets his inlaws...
