Hey there all the lovely people.

Me is back. Hungover from weekend 😆
Here is my babbling post on the episode today.

The episode today was drastically simple yet in that simplicity there was this sweetness that is rarely created.
Kanak locks herself in the bathroom, and Uma Shankar wants to talk to her about what the pandit said. She talks to herself "kabhi bhagwan kabhi pandit koi bhi iske kaan me phook mar k chala jata hai" was hilarious and it actually looked realistic babbling of an annoyed girl. Uma Shankar asks her ain't she tired of doing so much today... but there is a power outage and he stops. Kanak is dead scared and reminiscing how her brothers sacred her and how simple memories are valued.
Uma Shankar brings the light into their little world. Her lantern - yes she sees it from the crack in the door. She is relieved as the light pours into the darkness. Uma Shankar sit out side the door and they just sit quietly glowing in the yellow flicker. They doze off sitting awkwardly.. point here is that Uma is one guy who won't leave his wife's side even if she is in the bathroom upset.
Kanak falls into the tub while sleep and it makes quite a splash. Uma Shankar wakes up and ask what happened, he is concerned so he peeks inside and instructs her how to come out of the tub. Kanak manages to pull herself out and Uma Shankar hurriedly grabs a towel and pushes it from the crack in the window. They play push n push with it. Both of them insistent and equally stubborn. Kanak takes his kurta and changes into it. It might signify no matter how dark and cold A situation Kanak might find herself in she would always find solace with Uma Shankar one way or the other.
In the morning lantern love continues. He asks her to be ready for the pooja and to not be scared as he is leaving. She comes out and holds the lantern. She jibes at Uma Shankar that he was so concerned about water conservation and now left the lantern burning. Her mind is occupied by his thoughts. Whether he is present or omnipresent. He looks on to her smiling holding the lantern, the little thing bringing immense joy on her face. He is happy to see her happy. She spots him and realizes her state of dress and he averted his eyes and left and smiled. Kanak vows to find the papers and even settle Uma Shankar's mind.

Culture norm and values are two edged sword. One step in the wrong direction sets off a cacophony of undesirable consequences. What is right is wrong for another, it's the way this world works. But to build an understanding of adjusting and compromise from both ends lead to a merry life. No life is without its endless drama or worries but it can be lessened to quite an extent if the respect towards another person is of same level you want for yourself.
Kanak came down in her clothes the way she likes to dress up. The looks people gave her made her look at herself. Wondering did she grew another pair of feet. Her dress was is no way inappropriate yet it wasn't up to the occasion. Kanak could have been a bit considerate about the surroundings but it isn't her fault, she doesn't know anything about her surroundings. Same goes for the char log theory "she doesn't know how things work here" so instead of taunting and commenting and making faces help the girl and find a middle way out.

Precap - Uma Shankar says a married woman needs to have grace and maryada. Dude you put her in this situation and want everything to go your way...

P. S- somebody explain massi maa interest in first night.

1. Think Maasi had an unforgetable "first night" that has left her happy for life🤣🤣 Where are the men in this family btw? Ek toh MIA (the brother), but where are the rest? Mausa kaha hai? Curious no? Maybe all went on a hunting trip and never returned?
2. Not sure why US expects Kanak to surrender herself and identity to him. What has he done to deserve it? Collected her knickknacks? Sheltered her from the Sun? Saved her from drowning in his malfunctioning tub? Forced her into an unwanted marriage? He really is living in a dream world commensurate with his looks.

3. Kanak is girl on a mission - thankfully she is not falling for Ravan's visual charms or his silver tongue.

Hy blueflames nice post ! :) wats yur name ??
And about today's episode what uma did was wrong but he is not bad. As you said he had put her up in this situation and wants her to go in his way, before marrying her he din't even ask her about her family and situation. According to his *dharm* marrying a girl who is engaged to other person is also wrong. Hope kanak will makes him realize that in future.😉
Kanak is like a cute adament kid I ,the way she fell down in the tub while sleeping and pushed that towel crying 😆😆 , (rhea was damn cute in that scene) also when she blew that lantern that was so cute 😳 .Next, in that lantern scene the way he looked at her was so sweet and looked the other way when kanak felt shy that was really swt of uma . He said maasi sa that as the place is new to her it ll take some time for her, he understands a girl's feeling but he should have thought about it before marrying her forcefully, he should have won her love or made her understand about his love (maybe he is too much crazy for her so that he doesn't lose her😆😆 , in the name of dharm he married his love😆(naughty boy))
When maasi sa spoke with kanak for the first time she was wearing a modern attire and also when uma met her for the first time at that time they were not shocked abt it or what ?? they shoul have known about her way of culture and living by her attire without thinkin about anything they fixed their marriage🤢. Also she is very much interested in first night😡 they are not cared about kanak's background or family all they want is thier uma to be happy🤢. Fed up when all says that kanak is lucky to get uma, actually uma is lucky to have a girl like kanak who fights for getting back bhaboo's shop who has never showed her any love😊.
I like sarawati, she respects kanak and suman🤢 will she acpt this when this happens with her ??? 😡 .its annoying when she always blabers about kanak.

1) I love your explanation for massi maa first night. 😆
2) good point where are the rest of the men. His father never mentioned, massa jee still not mentioned, a younger brother who disappeared and only guy is Uma Shankar and rest of the world revolves around him.
3) isn't usually a person from in laws look over when the new bride is getting ready for first day pooja. Here they have a reluctant run away bride and nobody even checks on her. And then he just drags her to the room and gives lecture on maryada and garima. Excuse me dear for I would go bonkers too if I got married over night and nobody explained anything. No I am not that intelligent.

Yes thankfully Kanak has a mission on mind. Although she has her kind occupied by ravan and she means to teach him a lesson. Yet she is focused of getting the papers even if it means stealing.

I would call the situation the culprit here. Kanak was undressed for the occasion yet it isn't her fault. Nobody checked on her and just looks were enough to stab taunts.
Uma Shankar should show some patience now he himself has built a fire well for himself and he is not ready to roast in it. Giving lectures is not going to help Kanak understand anything. You need to prove by taking a stand in front of anybody.

Massi maa needs to stop pressing her nose in first night and camera zooming in on Palomi. We know she is heart broken one doesn't need to be reminded about her in every scene Uma Shankar is shown.

The oldies want respect but they never give respect. Teach the new bahu, that's progress.

I've been really trying to see both sides of the story although UmaShankar is definitely more in the wrong, but now it's really stupid. I mean you forced this girl to marry you. She is in a new city, knows no one, is now your forcefully wedded wife, is away from her family who by the way also don't know she has been forcefully married, and then expect her to know her dharm? She never wanted it. So, it's not her job, its yours to understand her point of view. Sorry, I know there's no point in my rant, but still. I need some logic shown because everyone is acting as if she just threw a small tantrum and is being disobedient. HER ENTIRE LIFE HAS JUST BEEN ALTERED, because of the choice only Umashankar made.

Umm I do understand your rant.
But can you please point out where have I advocated Uma Shankar's behavior.
