Two people seen as well suited , well tuned in, pleasing counterpart to each other, in harmony.. corresponding well. Such thoughts are often equated with two people on the cards to be married. Some people also find meaning connected to their respective faiths. In today's episode there are abroad references to a shared faith. A faith carnival is underway. It's Shivratri, lord Shiva and Parvati's wedding is being celebrated in a fervent way by the Lord s devotes. In accordance with popular faith, the place is crowded by young men and women. Offering obeisance , in the belief that Shiva and Parvati's precedent is set in their lives too.. a blessed and holy union that epitomizes a model wedded life. Amidst the chants of bom! Bom! bole! Two souls, strangers to each other are pulled together from one end of their existence to the others. Both are seekers.. one upon the will of his Lord Shiva ,the other in search for her purpose in life! What divine move will the mighty Shiva make with the robust beat of his damru! in forcing the meeting of this match made in heaven..
One's faith for those who have one and are its ardent followers, use their belief as a pointer and a guide to lead a virtuous life. Mind you with faith comes worship, and with worship comes the devotees prayer requests. So Bhabo during her Shivratri worship with Vansh veers her grandson's faith into requesting for a good wife like Parvati. Vansh views Shiv and Parvati union with a degree of scepticism in terms of compatibility. They were like chalk and cheese, she was royalty accustomed to a royal life style..whereas Lord Shiva spent most time on the mountain kailash like a sage , oblivious to the rest of the world..in his own realm of body mind and soul. He reckons they were a bit of a mismatch! Parvati probably had a lot to adapt too? But then in any marriage both partners have to carry out certain modifications within themselves to make their marriage work ! Bhabo points out that matches are made in heaven, as true, Lord Shiva and Parvati were from differing backgrounds, she alludes that they were poles apart!! yet it was divine love betwixt them that mattered most and sealed their relationship.. for believers to follow as an example.When it comes to supplications for a blessed marriage.. Vansh can only think of his sister Kanak! such is a brothers honour he requests the lord to replace all the rejection, hurt, exclusion his sister suffers ,by giving Kanak a husband who'll love her till eternity.. he prays may his sisters life be free of further compromises she has already made! May her wedded life be an exemplar of mutual trust and love..Vansh prayers before his lord with a beseeching heart.
Bom bom bole!!Lords Shiva's damru sounds..alerting all of his presence. He towers enormously above all. His benign eyes lap in all the passion in his worshippers .The Lord's eyes search for the ones to be used to glorify his devotee's faith!!At last he spots Uma! amid many raised tridents ,flying flags! Uma, gripped by the fervour of his Lord! Uma's passion pours out in his devotional rhythmical cadence of bhole Nath! Lord Shiva smiles at Uma in a trance! Uma the man after his own heart, Uma who bows to his lord Shiva's name, Uma named after him, Shankar! Uma who believes in the unseen! In lord Shivas name. Lord Shiva's wait is over as his choice for Uma too turns up surrounded by flowers, apprehensive she looks.. the Lord knows her pursuit.. but Kanak will know ,all too soon, that Lord Shiva seeks her life partner for her! and the rest of motives in her life are to follow! Women in particular in a carnival mood.. splashes of bright coloured garments swish about. One young known celibate, but nonetheless an eligible bachelor is rounded by giddy ladies teasing him. Lord Shiva too smiles down at the haste of ladies when they demand from Uma.. when will he break his life of abstinence and get married! Today at Shivratri ,there's no dearth of pretty belles! he might as well go for it and choose one bride!! Saraswati, speaks up like a sister and replies to the gang of teasing women.. Uma needs the right person to handle and tie him own! Uma protests he is no animal in need of control! Once again in keeping with the spirit of Shivratri the exemplary husband and wife Lord Shiva and Parvati were mentioned! Complete disparity between the two. Lord Shiva , righteous , sober ,a follower of rules and discipline! and Parvati , cheerful, bubbly , and ever so fragile! Utter disparity! poles apart! yet so alike in their love, devotion and trust in each other! that it's soars to epic proportions!
The divine hand seems to move as the gap between the two chosen by the Lord, Uma and Kanak are afforded a reason to come face to face, for the very first time. Lord Shiva will end the game of hide and seek between these two.. for the whole world today! On his wedding anniversary.Uma announces the commencement of the rituals.But the teasing continues! the women want to know what his dream Parvati looks like? His younger sisters describe the perfect SIL they want as Uma's wife. Palomi, considers herself as a chosen candidate already. However whilst the sisters state their wish list! Uma delves into sweet recollections of sequential encounters with the sandalwood fragrance girl. Then boldly declares, Lord Shiva will reveal to him the sandalwood fragrance girl.. Palomi drops the phial of sandalwood on the ground. Uma calls all for worship ,as the time approaches for the wedding procession to begin for the wedding of Lord Shiva! Flutes whine with hypnotic tunes! dambrus beat! Before the altar with an apprehensive, fond belief in the will of his Lord he spreads his arms in a wide span, tilts his imposing frame backwards and sings in obeisance most breathtaking will be the bride of Uma! what a union it will be!! the world will see! Uma sings! in a trance he breaks into a cadence of devotion for Lord Shiva. Polomi beats the drums as her heart tries to match Uma's heart beats!Lord damru plays !!great joy as the wedding procession of Lord Shiva's wedding heaves on in great celebration! Kanak weaves her way into the crowd of belles dancing! Uma thumps and gyrates. Flutes plays, announcing the arrival of the groom Lord Shiva! In the passionate crowd , uma's has his back to Kanak .. she brushes past him. Uma senses her fleeting presence.. he sings the one the Lord dreams about, she will be coloured in his colour today!! Jostled by the crowd ! he pivots a vermillion platter ceremoniously up in the air! it lands on Kanak s head! A flying garland is tossed up by devotes! it lands around the shoulders of Uma and Kanak! open mouth he stares down into the face of this girl the Lord pushed into his arms!! His eyes are transfixed by what miracle he beholds? he eyes her drowsily enchanted by this girl under his nose!! Uma's heart echoes the devotional song, as shell shocked he tenderly looks into her embarrassed eyes, today she will be coloured in his colour!! colour me in your colour!! Iam incomplete , complete me for its Shiv and parvati's wedding today! As both stand in an embrace, all behold the mighty Lord Shiva's wonderful feat! Uma and Kanak look like a match made in heaven!
Kanak snaps out of this spectacle.. wipes the vermillion off her face.. gingerly frees herself from the tangles of the vermala; mumbles a sorry! she was pushed into him and erhh, thanks for saving her from stumbling ..he stares at her still in shock! yes the same voice. it's her, the sandalwoodfragrance girl.The crowd gives positive and not too positive comments..never before has Uma's eyes looked into a girl's eyes.. looks like she has mesmerized him! It's a sign from the gods! Shes the girl for him! But Uma watches her walk away from him. People comment , but she's foreign!! What step is the great Uma going to take?? She was splattered by vermillion. The crowd expects some kind of sequel to what's transpired! especially so because this incident now stands equated to a firm, accepted belief of Shivratri .. Shiva and Parvati's wedding ..what step will Uma take to uphold his faith?? His sisters and polomi all saw the incident. However it's odd Uma asks his younger brother Shiv to go on an important errand! summon Masi,for a heart to heart ,serious talk. Payal gets to do her first duty to look after her disabled MIL.. she is ordered not to move from her side!no matter what!! oddly enough the servant left in charge of Kanak is none other than the old bushy moustache man! Kanak came looking for to Ladnun. So finding him at Uma Shankar's wedding is highly unlikely for her..although the girl tries to hang about at the nearest point at the mandap where Uma Shankar will be seated.. its then she can pounce her problem upon him and seek his help to find this man who is in possession of her Bhabo's shop!
Little does Payal know a sore Ved is on his way to Ladnun. The chatty driver tells him about the great celebration of Lord Shiva and parvati's wedding at Uma temple.. why Ved is coming to Ladnun is anybody's guess ?
Uma's conversation with his Masi , is sincere and honest in nature. He narrates his love story as it were.. how from Kerala to Puskar he has felt something for this particular girl.. she even wears the ring she ordered on her finger. The ring will be a sign for Masi indentifying this girl.. Uma does cover his own personal integrity , when he tells his masi that he never went for this girl ,but rather left it in the hands of Lord Shiva and today he testifies, that it appears that the Lord has blessed their match with his divine approval. Masi is pleased in his confiding in her and she assures him, henceforth to leave it in her hands! She will make the proposal and get him married today at this auspicious hour of Shivratri! Masi too ,sees Uma's marriage as one made in heaven! However Palomi is down and dejected! Suman consoles her.. mark her words, this marriage is highly unlikely to happen.
Well the good catch Uma Shankar certainly has been caught! Now masi is not one to procrastinate. She spots Kanak's ring on her finger and all! Approaches her without mincing her words! Asks Kanak whose blessings did she seek and receive before she left her home? why it was her beloved Bhabo.. after she ate the sweet made by her hand. But before Kanak discloses.. masi poses her another question does she know about Uma Shankar? Kanak replies, its Lord Shiva and Parvati...without wasting time Masi proposes, would she like to become Uma Shankar's Parvati .. gob smacked Kanak , of course declines and states she's here on a task. Masi is not the one to give up she insists only she is blessed enough to be the Parvati of Uma Shankar.. Kanak is naive and she assumes, maybe there is a Shiv Parvati Tableau and they need someone to don the role of Parvati!this time she confirms a yes! Masi gets what she came for! Masi adds in. She will not regret her decision.. Kanak silently reckons, she far from regrets her stance as by her enactment , she just may discover her search is over to retrieve her Bhabo's shop! all looks good, Uma's bride passes in flying colours.. young Shiv is doubtful will the girl say yes? Kanak realizes , hang on a minute!!this is a tableau is it not? If it's for real then she declines this agreement! Uma appears not amused.. does she not realize this match has been made in heaven! Divine forces have a hand in this marriage!!
Many pardons for a lengthy impression. Every bit of the episode was robust and action packed.. the vibrancy of the mighty Shiva rang through the thunderous tone of the episode.. it moves and moves with fervour. The cvs have done a great job.. The episode celebrates, apart from the wedding of Shiv and Parvati the leads Avinesh and Rhea ,in as role Kanak and Uma Shankar...also a big thanks to Swansong for making an AT 1 for Avinesh and Rhea.. it was SilverBell's idea originally..
