After a long long time I finally am hooked to an Indian TV show. Amazing performances so far, some are getting better and some as usual are doing a great job. Kudos to the Creatives for keeping this story completely orthogonal to the season 1. It just looks so fresh and different even though the basic premise of family values and motherly bond are still intact.
Haven't seen someone like Uma Shankar in a while. He is authoritative yet playful(with shiv), stern yet understanding(with payal), goes by the rules but understands that not everyone believes in what he believes. Like he mentioned to Payal and the best dialogue so far in this series, everyone has several bonds, and one shouldn't end their life just because of one particular bond. He is here to play several roles, that of an obedient son, caring brother, loving father like figure and ofcourse the best of all, Kanak and Bhabho's Suraj 😊. I just love the way his character is shaping up. The more i see, the more i love that character. I don't endorse all of his beliefs and i expect him to change (with respect to his ideas about women) as the story progresses.
Kanak is nothing like her parents yet everything like them. She has one particular thing in common with her parents. Its their undying love for Bhabho. Bhabho is one lucky woman to have such people in her life, who irrespective of her hate or dislike, love her. Kanak is a free spirited girl completely opposite to her soulmate(or so it seems). It will be fireworks when these two come together. There will be clash of ego's and beliefs and there will be an amazing journey of love and trust between these two people.
Apart from these two, Bhabo, Babasa, Meena, Rani and Shiv are amazing in their scenes.
P.s : Saw the upcoming promo(shaadi wala) was heavenly
Just had a question to the director though, sindoor falls exactly in the maang, well, I like it, we like it, we all like it ...but bhai where did that sindoor box fall? 😆😆Thats what i was thinking when i watched that scene. Because this time Uma was busy with his chandan lady darshan he forgot to catch the box unlike the haldi scene 😆😆
Well i hope all of you are enjoying the show as much as i do. I wish this came during the prime time, it would be rocking the trps.
