TSMSPJ episode 11: 14.4.17~ My Impressions~ Coincidence or Reality
Many moments in life leave us wondering, did they really happen ? did chance have anything to do with the concurrences? However when they happen such moments appear remarkable and never fail to take us by surprise! On the contrary to coincidental happenings, as opposed to such twists of fate or flukes one has actuality or the realistic angle! That defies all that is imaginary or idealized. This play between coincidence and reality is what creates a certain ambiguity in our lives, which in turn keeps us engaged and alive, forever curious to search the truth. Today's episode is a delightful mix of events that appear real but at the same time are touched by a dose obscurity.
There is no doubt that sometimes in life someone comes across total strangers who give a simple solution to a riding problem. What an apt coincidence that Kanak advises Payal's mother to give a mother's blessing to her daughter on her haldi ritual. For Kanak the reality is that she herself received her Bhabo's blessings on her haldi, not so long ago. See a little bit of love motivates her to spread love and provide healing to others. So its courtesy of Kanak that Payal's mother supports her child.
The statue of Lord Shiva sits in grandeur in his temple .The vibrant mighty Shiva's fervour transcends into his zealot devotes .With his eyes he can see the mass of his worshippers ,all before him righteous and evil ,he gives audience to all. Kanak, Vansh and Meenakshi seek blessings upon the wedding card, Kanak weds Mayank. Its touching to see that bar Kanak who takes the marriage in a stride for her Bhabo's love,Vansh and Meenakshi both know the inside story. Mind you meenakhshi does harkens !the mighty lord Shiva to intervene and perform a miracle whereby Kanak can be united with her prospective husband and may they always be together despite all odds, just like Suraj and Sandhya were..
Supplications made with the contrite heart are heard..the lord disposes what men propose. Uma carries the peak of powdered haldi platter for Payal well balanced on his palm! For the lords blessing.. as he weaves his forward to the altar, platter held high over worshippers head. The mighty Shiva stands Uma beside Kanak who jumps up fervently to ring the bell! The vibrant god opens his third eye and under his thunderous feet rumbles the ground.. Kanak jostles Uma and the platter of haldi tilts and topples over the heads of two people that lord Shiva chooses as life- long partners! Uma and Kanak! two busts coated with dry finely ground haldi. This is no chance! the act actually occurs, due to Kanak's exuberance. In fact its ominous ! as its haldi that comes from the grooms house, more so from the grooms hand right over the bride! The impact of the tipping upheaval of the platter is so great, that even the deities smile at the disorderly, order of these two souls! Who are destined to be together despite whatever odds crop up between.. but the time is not right yet and both go their separate ways! First things first! To get the haldi off their bodies.. little do they realize that the deities have a hand in this one..this is no coincidence... time will tell.The possibility is ,that Uma will readily accept this as some divine sign regards his future partner. As for the bright and chirpy Kanak she is in seventh heaven already! She is on a winner! to receiving Bhabo's love by agreeing to marrying Mayank .
Kanak misjudges Bhabo's love..there isn't any yet. Her husband sees her deep rooted hard heartedness to Kanak, when Bhabo is adamant she will not give away Kanak! her husband mocks, her plot to get rid of Kanak has backfired ,and there will come a time when she Santosh will be forced to give her granddaughter's hand away! Babasa's words bode ill..
The Uma and Shiv scenes shows the bromance between the big man and little man. Shiv brings out the lighter, witty and humourous side of Uma. Being the curious lad, Shiv wants to know who a ladies ring was for? Uma , quips what will be will be.. the ring will get to the person its meant for! Here it shows Uma believes in the role of providence in one's life.
Modern approach of allowing the would be married couple an audience with each other in privacy. Kanak goes on date with Mayank. Endearing scene between Ved and Kanak. Naturally she is a bag of nerves.. probablythe first time!and that too with her would be husband. It shows her deep attachment with her brothers ,wants Ved to stay. Mind you its great to see an older brother support his sister. Ved advices Kanak that despite the fact that she goes ahead with the marriage to obtain Bhabo's affection.. let this not reflect in her respect and obedience to her in laws! Kanak gives value to her brothers words, as he is a replacement to their mother.
What a coincidence! small world! Kanak dates Maynak in the same hotel where Uma and brother are staying. It's a comedy of errors, key swaps, wrong room! But Uma's ring! most certainly ends up on the finger it was destined for! To top it all the near miss between Uma and the sandalwood fragrance girl, both keep missing each other! Kanak's note stirs curious sentiments in the collected medicine man.. seem's his heart is on a gallop ! but funny he feels no need to pull the reins of his heart. This girl with the sandalwood fragrance, is beginning to intoxicate his senses. He recalls every occasion he felt her presence around him. Today he cannot believe his destiny, that she graced his room.. took the ring unknowingly..and now! As far as he can sense, yet another occasion is on the horizon when he might cross paths with her.. when she returns the ring perhaps?.. he needs to bridle his heart and use his brain to figure out.. all this may just be a coincidence.. or is she a reality ? one way or another he has to find this girl.. too much of coincidence may mean..his search is on.. who is she?? but what of the ring is it meant for the sandalwood fragrance girl.. mmm he sniffs Kanak's note.. hamlet53 15.4.17
