Kahaani tattoos ki
Most of the prominent characters in Ekta Kapoor's Kahaani Hamaraay Mahaabharaat Ki have tattoos which form a crucial part of their overall look. Aparna, the stylist of the show, gave us details.
Arjun (Harshad Chopra) has a tattoo of a simple design which has been basically given to him to add to his image and personality as he was quite intelligent.
Yudhishtir (Uma Shanker) has a tattoo of Gayatrimantra and Om. He is known as Dhramaraj and to show that through his personality we have given him this tattoo visible on his right arm.
Duroyadhan (Aryan Vaid) has a tattoo of Scorpio which depicts his evil nature.
Draupadi (Anita Hasnandani) is most beautiful and powerful woman of the epic. To portray the softer side of her, there is a tattoo of flower on her right shoulder.
Laslty, Bheeshma (Ronit Roy) has a tattoo of Om and Trishul on his left arm. But unlike the earlier ones, this is a real one. He has got it done before the start of the show.
Aparna further adds, "We have to make tattoos every time we are shooting as they are not real and made of black paint. We have not used different colours for tattoos as we do not want to experiment with it too much. However, it is a very time consuming procedure. An average design takes at least 40 minutes and if it is big one like Arjun then it takes more than hour for our make up man to paint it."
