The Love Story 2050 effect
Love Story 2050 is being promoted as a futuristic film having a budget of 60 crores. We asked director Harry Baweja to pick his top 5 special effects from the film.
5. There is scene in which Zayesha (Priyanka Chopra) and Karan (Harman Baweja) are having a fight in the air. To create the background it took us around 7 months. Priyanka and Harman have done the stunt on their own.
4. Boo, Zayesha's pet is a robotic teddy bear. This robot helps Priyanka Chopra in all her household chores like cutting vegetables. To prepare the robot we had to work hard as he is talking to her and even on his other actions. Boo is Priyanka's favourite character in the movie.
3. Futuristic Mumbai-2050. This transformation will surely be liked by the audiences especially the Mumbai lovers who want Mumbai converted like Shanghai.
2. Karan's friend QT is a female robot. This idea came when we introduced Boo. QT will be seen in the song Milo Na Milo. It took us to around 11 days to shoot with him but a year to create him. Boo and QT join hands to bring Zayesha and Karan together.
1. The fight scene between Karan and demi-God villain Dr.Hoshi. To shoot this fight scene, which comes in the second half of the film, we had to really work hard.
The special effects were executed by four international firms of which two - Weta Workshop (New Zealand) and John Cox (Brisbane, Australia) - have already won Academy Awards.
The film will release on July 4 with Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Naa.International premieres of 'Love Story 2050'

LOVE STORY 2050 is going places… literally! That the makers have spared no efforts to give the film an international look is known by now. But here's the latest! The film will have international premieres as well, thereby taking the film to the international audience.
"Right now, we've confirmed London. We're also looking at Dubai and Toronto, but have yet to take a call," Saurabh Varma, Chief Marketing Officer of Reliance Big Pictures confirms, "There's so much happening, plus the last-minute promotions… all this might take away a lot of time of the actors, I suspect," Saurabh adds.
Meanwhile, lead man Harman Baweja hasn't limited himself to facing the camera only. He is simultaneously looking into promotions, post-production and all marketing exercises. Wow!
