Salman Khan turns into a fashion designer

Now Salman Khan will launch his own brand of clothes. The proceeds from the sales will go to Salman Khan's foundation, Being Human. His sister Alvira Khan who is a much-sought-after designer in Bollywood, will be designing for his brand.

Sallu will take his style statement to another level. A source close to the Khan family said, "Salman Khan is launching his own brand of clothes line soon. It will not only be his designs but also most of the clothes will have his signature paintings inscribed on them. The actor is planning to launch not just clothes but accessories too. The proceeds from the sale will go to his charity foundation, 'Being Human'."

The actor is well prepared with his game plan which is quite modern and unique in its approach. Added our source, "Salman is also planning to launch a new website which will showcase all the products. He is personally involved in all the aspects of the products as well as the work on the website."

Alvira Khan, Salman's sister who is married to actor-director Atul Agnihotri, is all excited at the prospect. When contacted, she said, "Yes, it's true but it's too early to talk about it as we are planning the launch soon. You will get to know everything about it then. Salman will be involved in all areas but I will be contributing in my own way." According to our source though Salman has roped in top-of-the-line designers to give creative inputs, he will take the final call on the designs and the products. He will select the designs and the paintings to be used on the clothes. Our source added, "Industry people have high expectations from Salman and are waiting for him to launch his brand."
