May 26:
From what I followed today, Selvam has been told not to visit Archana. But he goes anyway and tries to bring her home. Jayalnthi calles her mom and aske her to create trouble. Selvam goes home and tells every one that he never went to see archana. Jayanthi's mom calls and tell krvijaya's sis that selvam went to see archana.
This KRVijaya's sis is totally irritating. KR played only good roles. This sis is starting as a villi. Edited by jagdu - 15 years ago

May 27:
Selvam is still trying to bring Archana home. Jayanthi stops her on some pretext.
Archana's sis gets kidnapped. Villain plans to get her but somebody else does. Archana's brother and Selvam go to find her.

june 2nd mon:

Bhagyam and Sivagami are having a fantastic war of words- Bhagyam curbed by her sons; on the other side Sivagami curtailed by her family members except Jayanthi, who seemed to have added fuel to the fire. Vinod is also seen agitated. Selvam's periappa suddenly appears there and asks them to stop fighting. Jayanthi is disappointed. Periappa persuades Vasu to keep Bhagyam outside the house and asks Arch's father to take his wife inside. Both the women refuse to budge, but Periappa succeeds finally.

Next we see periappa sitting inside the house. He learns what kept Selvam in Archana's house the previous night. He advises them to forget everything that has happened and send Arch immediately back to her hubby's place. Sivagami finally agrees.

Back in Selvam's house, Bhagyam is all lovey dovey to her D-i-L. Selvam leaves for his garage and periappa also leaves as his brother enters. Periappa asks him to start work with his new business. Vasu is surprised at Bhagyam's new attitude . He immediately goes to the kitchen to find out. Bhagyam confirms she is planning all this only for the gold Archana has brought and plans to use them for her daughter's marriage. Vasu warns her not to forget the 3 soverigns she promised him.

Jayanthi and mother - Mother hears the complete story and again makes a sabatham to spoil the upcoming!shanthi muhurtham of Selvam-Arch

june 3 tue

Sivagami is still furious with Bhagyam and thinks about the incident. Again she polambifies to husband, son and daughter. Finally Archana's father says Sivagami is also at fault and she has to reform.

Selvam comes home with sweets for Archana, but that dumbo doesn't respond to him. Brother and sis sit for their dinner and call archana also. But she refuses to eat now. Suddenly Arch has stomach pain. Mother and daughter find out that it is regular monthly pains, but Selvam doesn't listen to them and brings a doctor. The doctor is told the cause, she is all praise for Selvam and what a lucky girl Archana is.

Nandini is in a shopping mall, she slips and falls down on a passerby, who helps her up. All this seen and mistaken by Anbu , who starts scolding the man. Nandhini clarifies and warns Anbu not to try cinematic sentiments like this and walks out leaving a stunned Anbu behind.

Selvam's father does pooja and they all wait for him to start his candle making. After a lot of dramatics, he starts - freeze Edited by giriadimai - 15 years ago

june 5th:

I missed the first part, shall fill in if possible later. Selvam's father has failed in the candle making and he secretly buys candles from a shop and comes home and puts up a big drama in front of his wife. But soon from his 'engappan kudirukkulla illai' kinda talk, Bhagyam finds out the truth. She scolds him and asks him to make arrangements for Selvam-Arch's shanthi muhurtham.

Now Bhagyam gets a call from Sinda. Sinda finds out about the new developments and convinces Bhagyam to consult Sinda's josiyar for the upcoming event. ARch is having her food alone and listens to Bhagyam's part of the telephonic speech and puts up a 'supposed to be' shock expression - freeze

Jun 7th:

Bhagyam and Sinda with the joshiyar, presumably the one bribed by Sinda. He reads the horoscopes of Selvam and Arch and returns them back, asking them to consult some other astrologer. Bhagyam is concerned. After a lot of persuasion from Sinda, the astrologer says that Bhagyam's maangalyam is at stake here, if Selvam and Arch get together. Sinda keeps on prodding the astrologer and he keeps on repeating the same thing lest Bhagyam has a change of heart. As a respite, he suggests postponing the shanthi muhurtham for another 6 months.

Sinda and Bhagyam at the former's house. Bhagyam is worried and Sinda continues her stance and finally Bhagyam is convinced.

Nandini riding on her scooter, aswell as talking on her mobile. The traffic constable stops her and imposes a fine for not wearing a helmet ( hey, what about using her mobile? 😡 ) She pleads with the policeman, but he insists on her paying the fine. She realises her purse is at home. So she is asked to pay the fine at court the next day and then take her vehicle. Anbu, with no other work other than following her, comes and offers to pay the fine. She gets angry, refuses and leaves the place and the vehicle.

Bhagyam is back at her home. Her husband has finished the arrangements. Selvam is in pattu sattai, veshti and Rani dressing up Archana. Bhagyam sits on the chair very thoughtfully and her husband comes to her asking where she disappeared. She blurts out something, everyone gets anxious. After a lot of persuasion from Selvam, Bhagyam tells about the astrologer's predictions. Her husband says he doesn't believe in all these superstition nonsense. But Selvam says even though he doesnot have belief, he wouldnot do anything to go against his mother's beliefs. Archan is expressionless. june 9th:


Spill over from friday. Selvam refusing to go through the function. Everyone leave one after the other except Archana, making us wonder ( vera velai than illaiye 😃 ) why she is standing there with no expression.

Jayanthi at her mom's place, praising her mother for her 'sakuni velai'. Mother and daughter are rejoicing like anything. (Is this Jayanthi expecting in real life or that is her getup for the serial?). Jayanthi finally puts a break on mommy darling's joy, by wondering what would happen if Sivagami went to another astrologer. Momma says it is now Jayanthi's responsibility to see that this doesn't happen.

Jayanthi back in her house reporting to husband and inlaws about the turn of events at Selvam's place. She says she found out about all this, with a telephonic call to Selvam's house. Sivagami is again agitated, but husband-son pacify her and suggest seeking the opinion of a neutral astrologer. Jaynthi tries to stop them saying that Bhagyam wouldn't accept the judgement of even 100 other josiyars when she has decided to keep her son and d-i-l apart cos Sivagami had angered her so much. Vinod is not convinced and they finally decide to consult Selvam's periappa. Jayanthi is worried.

Selvam's house. Periappa frets about all the troubles the newly married couple had gone through from the time the marriage was fixed. Poongavanam says he is not superstitious and doesn't care for his life, but wants the youngsters to be happy. Bhagyam is worried more about poo and pottu and shedding copious tears. Again the issue of neutral umpire er astrologer arises and everybody look up at Selvam for his reaction. Freeze on bondhu Arch.

I missed june 10th and 12th episodes - any body willing to update? 😃

june 11th :

Not much actually. Revathy is completely floored by Vasu and she wishes to renew the relationship. Vasu doesn't open his mouth and Revathy threatens to walk backward across the busy street 😕 (- vizharadhana engeyavadhu kadaleyo, kanathuleyo vizhavendiyadhu thane; why trouble the poor motorists?) Any way we see the scene is graphically manipulated. Vasu saves her and they become friends. Revathy suggests they both go around the city together. Vasu complies. She gifts him with a chain, when they are seated in a restaurant. Now we find the true colours of Vasu. He is elated that the fish has landed in his net.

Poongavanam takes the wax - die to the seller's place and demands his money back. But the MD gets him thrown out. That is all.

jun 17th - 19th

Bharath has already aptly described the last 2 episodes 😃- Poongavanam doing his best?? and Bhagyam's efforts to foil his ideas - on and on and on and on....

Jayanthi goes to her mom and informs of her husband's vow and cries.

Nandhini invites Anbu to a park and he sincerely rehearses his opening line with a red rose. In comes Nandini and taunts him to kiss her hand, Anbu gives in and Nandhini screams for help (same old strategy 😕 ) and policewomen lead a bewildered Anbu out.

Vasu at a restaurant waiting for Revathy. Ex girlfriend walks in and sits at the same table. They get into a heated argument.Vasu says this girl is oorugai, but Revathy is main dish( aiyo enna oru comparison) Revathy hears everything and accepts her foolishness to have trusted that Vasu had transformed. She storms out. Oorugai follows out.

Poongavanam and Bhagyam at it again - Selvam bursts out and puts a stop - appovoda thudippum ammavoda thavippum overa irukku and that Archana and he wouldn't give in to temptation.

Bhagyam is now played by someone else and not that KR Vijaya( quoting Jagdu 😊 ) lookalike.

Jun 20th:

Nandini is returning by scooty. Anbu is getting into his car and she is shocked that he has been released. Anbu says he has good influence and the DC kindly let him off. Now he wonders what other plans Nandhini has for him which would make him like her more and more.

Poongavanam is walking drunk grumbling how all his plans were foiled and cursing astrology. Nandhini also comes that way and meets up with Poonga. She scolds him for his state and he complains he has sarakku adichified cos his son and dil are not happy. He narrates how Sinda influenced Bhagyam to that effect. Poongavanam's performance is commendable 👏 - the way he talks about the interaction between the two women - it definitely brings a smile 😊.

Revathy's friends try to impress upon her that Vasu is indeed reformed 😕 But she leaves saying she can never be convinced.

Nandini waits outside a temple. Sindamani comes out and they both taunt each other. Nandini lets Sinda know that her plans are exposed. Again they challenge each other. Nandini looks very cute. Nandini says that she will rectify the situation soon.
