Would and appology from Amir's family be enough to smooth things over? Personally speaking, I don't think that an appology would be enough.....I mean the stuff that was said, and the anger with which it was said is unforgivable........I think that everyone in their right mind would see right through the appology as a mere attempt by the family to get back in the good graces of Zee and try to squeeze as much money as they can from Zee.....Even if there is a appology, it should be specifically directed towards Tanmay, Rohanpreet, Aditya, Sonu, Sureshji, and obviously we the audience.......I don't think a general appology would be sufficient.........I hope we don't go the route of "forgive and forget", because that's exactly the kind of attitude that encourages this kind of behavior in the first place..........What would be the lesson learnt? That it's okay to communalise every issue and insult little kids as long as you offer up a general appology afterwards? I believe there should be consequences for people's actions.......Let's teach our kids right and set an example that this kind of behavior should not and will not be tolerated..........

if his family comes and provides a general appology than this whole issue was a made up to raise the trp of the show...and everything that sonu said that this show was real and all was just crap...wat i think happened was that the judges probably refused to do any drama so zee got the family and contestant to do the drama to raise trp

well, we all know there will be an apology from hafeez clan. the question is whether zee shd accept it or not. i think zee shd not accept the apology and forgive that clan. why....because if zee forgives them then there will be following issues:

1) sonu will be forced to summarize the whole maafi maangna and maafi dena deal as "subah ka bhoola shaam ko ghar aaye toh ussey bhoola naheen kehtey"

2) once subah ka bhoola is back on the show and if he decides to show his true colors in line with that family...sonu will be forced to say "babool key peyd per aam naheen ugtey"

3) if one of the three finalists' parents decide to create a scene on some voting issue....sonu wouldn't help but say "kharboojey ko dekh ker kharbooja rang badalta hai"

u see, this list can just go on and on and on based on all possible scenes that will come in to play if zee accepts the apology and let the clan back on finale....for example the mere act of apologizing can be aptly summed up as "thook ker chaatna"😉

abb yaar, sonu key saath aur kitnee nainsaafi karwaogey😡. ek "thali mein chhed" key ooper duniya waaley kya kya naheen boley ussey. zee can't be creating any situation going fwd that has a perfect fit muhawara😳. zee should not be creating any such situations...in my very very very humble opinion😛

Yes - Since Amir Hafiz himself was not at fault. He got caught in the mix and could'nt do any thing. I mean if any 12 year old's older brother and parents go crazy for some reasons and drag this poor kid out with them, what that twelve year could do?

He should not be punished for the crime he did'nt commited. Anger towards Amir is not at all justified.

Too harsh words were hurled at poor Amir because of his family's fault.

well do you have another alternative? Apology is the most any family could do, that would've behaved in this manner. Well unless if they buy a bunch of presents for all of Zee tv as mafi. 😆 😉

i am skeptical that any apology they can come up with would be anything but tactical in nature. cant see it being heart-felt for example. if they didnt get it all these years, dont know what they'd get in the space of a few days walking in the wilderness.

that said, if someone apologizes, that too should be encouraged and welcomed. it takes courage i feel. i guess the high-road to take then is to accept their apology. everyone makes mistakes, though their's imo was way over-the-line. under the circumstances, i suppose it wld be fine to have them back in the show, much as i'd personally have hoped to see the last of them, not the least of which is for mediocre singing reasons.

but zee does have the following important obligation-

ensure that tanmay and rohan's folks are not put in any uncomfortable situation. that's an ethical obligation, not perhaps a legal one.

beyond that, i'd hate to see folks tripping over themselves to now show how open they are. no appeasements please to win some "hum sab saath saath hain" brownie points. that would be setting the wrong example on a lot of scores. it would be unfair to all the other kids who were as good if not better and did not get the same opportunity because they didnt cry foul. and it would show people that bad behavior pays off, in fact crying communalism pays more! unfortunately, it might not be too far off to predict that appeasements are what's coming next! that would be par for the course!

highly convenient, aint it?😉 isnt it thanks to his family and their circumstances that he got as far as he did in the first place. now that they are a liability, put some distance between aamir and them, right? really!😆

looking for alternatives? yes, how about not having them back, not even letting them apologize? 😊 or would that be such a loss for zee that they cant do without having aamir agree to be in their show?😛

lol. sure. so did the family take money to do this, or did they do it for free?😉 u know, because they might love zee so much that they might want to see them make some TRP money?😆

Amir should be back as he was not at fault. But the truth remains that the apology rendered is surely keeping the future monetary prospects in mind. I sincerely hope and wish that all that money is used for Amir's education and not for his brother's dreams.

About apology, I think it is a must that his family apologizes to audience for the inflammatory comments they made on national television and also to Rohan/Tamnay and their parents. I have no problem with their walking-out from the show but the words they spoke were insensitive.
