Sharad's mother suffers as Sagar dies

Sagar (Sharad Malhotra) and Vidya's (Divyanka Tripathy) death in Dulhann has definitely affected their real life mothers who were very tense to watch the events unfold on telly. Divyanka's mother is conducting a havan. We spoke to Sharad's mother Neera, who stays in Kolkata, to find out what she thinks about the twist.

"I was mentally prepared. Before the show was about to start, Sharad gave me a call and explained the death scene to me. He also asked me not to panic as he will be back in show soon. Out of curiosity, I saw the episode. It was very intense but at the same time very touching. I came to know how good my son is at displaying emotions. Divyanka was also good. But it was tough watching them die," Neera says.
She however revealed that Sharad's nani was not prepared for this scene. "For a minute she was very tense and started crying. I told her that it is not real but she still did not believe it. Later I told Sharad to speak to her and it was only then that she became normal," explains Sharad's mother.

Neera also says that she was very hurt when she saw the promos in the papers that read -aap Sagar aur Vidya ki shoksabha main avashya aana. "At that point of time I was numb for a while. I spoke to Sharad but even he was unaware of it. I and Sharad's dad have decided that we won't be watching the show for three days as the last rites and shoksabha will be on. We will watch Dulhann directly on 21st February. That's not all. Most probably next month I will be performing the Akhand Durga mata Path."

Sagar and Vidya's sudden demised has surely had an adverse effect on their off-screen mothers. But their will take place next well. So all we'd like to tell them is Om Shanti Om!
