Illogical reasoning by KYMT characters

Apart from the the current track (of Prachi being the mother of Ritwik) which is totally illogical and hence makes the characters also behave quite illogically, can you recollect instances where the characters have done or said things which are quite illogical?

Here are a few I can think of :

1. After the attempted rape, Milsi telling Prachi he had no intention of raping Prachi but just wanted to scare her because he wanted to see the fear in her eyes, just as Alaap had scared Sukruti.

If anything Suki was shamed by Alaap, not frightened of him. Alaap had not raped or attempted rape on her. He was more clever. He duped her into a fake marriage and slept with her. This is not even remotely similar to what Milsi did to Prachi.

2. When Neev asked her to tell the truth about the baby, promising that he will prevent Milsi's arrest (in the smuggling case) Prachi thinks to herself that if she tells him Milsi will be safe but Neev will be sad.

I frankly did not see the logic here. If anything, he will be angry, not sad, that he is taking the blame for Suki's kid, especially since she is Milsi's sister (There is no love lost between him and Milsi). Suki also happens to be his brother's wife so he will be angry that his brother has been kept in the dark.

3. Ayesha telling the polic man who came to arrest Milsi in the arson case that Milsi could not have been in the crime scene since she was with him in a hotel room. She further tells him that he will have to believe her because she cannot be lying as she is Neev's wife and would'nt want her husband's ruin.

Here she seems to contradict herself. If she was with another man(other than her husband) in a hotel room, she obviously was having an affair with him. How can such a woman then want what is best for her husband? Would she not connive with the lover to destroy the husband, thereby proving Milsi was indeed behind the arson?

Shanta, I know I am barking at the wrong tree. Kekta soaps and logic dont go hand in hand. But some glaring lapses can be avoided, can they not? Atleast our intellect should not be so much under-estimated. I must give credit to the lady. She is smart in picking the right jodis for her serials and getting her viewers hooked to them. Then any crappy track (with or without logic) will sell, would'nt it?

Yes Optimistic i agree with you..Infact there are many things that have happened which are very illogical. What was awfully funny was what happened during the independence day party..
Ayesha burnt all milinds clothes because he was wearing a shirt that was gifted by his wife. So that idiot burnt all his other clothes except for the 1 that prachi gave him!! wow!!how intelligent!!
NOW, if prachi's room was burnt, then how did milind take her to her room again? how many rooms does she have 2 herself??And milind had a comletely new wardrobe the next day??? Magical!!
Plus prachi miraculously becomes absolutely alright the next day! No burn marks-nothing?? Burn marks acc to me take months to go...But sorry prachi is a super-human with divine qualities!!
BLOOPERS BLOOPERS till the end!!
and yes for reasoning by characters- they are 90% of the tiome illogical!

There's a lot I can overlook - but the whole adoption procedure was too much for. No home check, no husband check, no family check, no background check - you can't just go to an orphanage and take a look at the kids and pick one like they showed Ayesha doing. Agencies never give away a child so easily. Or I read here she did. I was not able to watch those episodes, and gave them a miss.

We adopted a little fellow three years ago - and the whole experience was eons away from what they showed.

To add to that, i don't think any orphanage would allow a stranger to enter the record room and above all keep the cabinet unlocked, which has all the official informatin... I mean how ridiculous can it get?!

Yes, the adoption track was most ridiculous. And imagine Prachi entering the place in a nuns outfil and within minutes walking out of the place with the baby! Sure gives the adoption agencies here a very bad name.

Remember one. Alaap taking the old woman and asked her to tell Sukreti's secret in front of everybody without firstly knowing it himself😆 Is that illogical or just dumb? And what made him so sure that the lady would speak up (or speak up the truth) in front of everyone... That's just weird.

There are so many with Prachi... Later.

Magno, you had me in splits. Yes, remember that scene. One wondered whether Alaap was supposed to be the villian of the show or its comedian. 😆
