This is becoming very common in all 3 shows- SGMP, SVOI and Indian Idol where the judges openly favor one contestant just to influence the public votes. I feel there should be some guidelines for the Judges as to what they can say and how.
SGMP-all judges favor Mauli (her style is same. NO versatality. other singers are better and more versatile) THEN WHY?
Indian Idol - Judges favor Ankita who has made number of boo boos compared to other good singers (II trend is just when the judges comment that singing is good and flawless to a contestant then it means they are out the next day. eg: Dipali, Puja, Chang)
SVOI- Judges are Too dramatic
