I have posted 2 parts today. In the next part, Robbie comes back...........

PART - 14

In Delhi :
Before she knows the day is over and Kasturi will be ready to go to Chandni Chowk. She reaches home and asks the driver to come back for her on Monday morning. Everybody comes out to greet her. Everybody is so excited to see her that they all talk at the same time, surround her and ask her a million questions. And Kasturi will be very happy to see her family so happy.

In Hyderabad:
Neela goes and picks up the baby. Raunak slowly walks towards them. He is seeing his daughter for the first time. She will look just like him!!!!! She will have his eyes and hair!!! The baby is staring at Raunak and Raunak is staring at her. Neela will introduce them to each other.
Neela : Raunak, meet Raaga Singhania, Raaga, meet your dad!!!!!
And she gives the baby to Raunak to hold. The moment Raunak holds her, he will be so overcome with paternal love that tears will flow down his eyes and he will kiss the baby so affectionately!!!!! Both he and Neela will be crying and the baby will be looking at them alternately ( <with an exasperated expression that says - Are you done with crying, or what???? I am supposed to be the one doing the crying!!!! Btw, who is this man? Never seen him before, but he seems very familiar!!!> Just kidding, guys!! Wanted to lighten this sentimental situation a bit!! OK, getting back to the scene....)

Back in Delhi....
That night Kasturi will talk with her sisters till late in the night and then all will sleep on the same bed like when they were kids. Next day morning, Kaushalya will bring tea for Kasturi to her room. She will wake Kasturi up, so she can spend some time with her without interference from Alka.
Kaushalya (giving her tea) : Puttar, kaisi hai tu? Khush hai na?
Kasturi : Maa, meri chintaa bilkul mat keejiye. Raunak ji aur unke gharwaale meraa bahut khyaal rakhte hai. Mujhe ghar mei koi kaam nahin karne dete. Aur ghar baithe baithe, mei bore ho gayi toh, unhone mujhe phirse naukri karne ke liye bhi encourage kiyaa.
Kaushalya (will be beaming) : Kasturi puttar, mei bahut khush hun.
And while they are talking, Navneet also wakes up and she will still be lazily lying on the bed and looking at both the Ks and listening to them.
Kaushalya (hesitantly) : Aur puttar, Robbie kaisa hai? Tujhe kisi tarah se takleef toh nahin pahunchata na?
Kasturi (her heart suddenly becomes clouded but manages to answer normally) : Nahin, Maa.
Kaushalya : Mei yeh kabhi nahi bhool sakti ke ussne tumhaare bauji ko jalne se aur teri zindagi Girish ke haaton barbaad hote bachaayaa!!! Betaa, mujhe aaj bhi yakeen nahi hota ke ussne tumhe dhokha diyaa.
Kasturi : Maa, baat dokhe ki nahin hai. Agar woh sirf mujhe dhokha deke chale jaate, toh bhi mujhe utnaa buraa nahi lagtaa, jitnaa mujhe hamare parivaar ki beizzati ka lagaa.
Her eyes fill up with tears and Kaushalya will hug her and say
Kausalya : Maaf kar de, puttar. tujhe subah subah rulaa diyaa.
Navneet will also get up and hug Kasturi.
Meanwhile Tanu will whine sleepily : Ohfo!! Sone do na maa. Kya subah subah shuru kar diyaa.
Kausalya : Besharam. Dekh toh suraj kaise nikal aaya, aur tu abhi tak so rahi hai. Utt!!!
And Navneet and Kasturi will drag Tanu out of bed.

Kasturi will shower and get ready and come to the kitchen to help her Mom out when Alka will start
Alka : Arre Kasturi!!! Kitni sundar salwaar hai!!! Hayye, bahut mehengi lagti hai!! Arre itni mehengi salwaar, kitchen mei pehan kar aaogi toh kharaab ho jaayegi!!
Kasturi will just smile in reply. But Navneet will not keep quite.
Navneet : Ek kharaab ho gayi toh kya hua chachi?? Dii ke paas toh aise bahut se salwaar hai.
Alka (making a face) : Arre hongi bhai, zaroor hongi. Aakhir Singhaniayon ki bahu hai. Tere shaadi ke kharche ke tale dab kar, hum kuch bhi nahi khareed sakte toh kya, teri thaat dekhkar toh khush ho sakte hai na??
And she wil go on and on.
Beeji : Ab bas kar, Alka. Aaj kal toh JP ki bhi naukri lagee hai. Tere bacchon ke kamaai par hi puraa ghar nahi chal rahaa.
Kaushalya will feel very relieved at this statement. Kasturi will notice this and will be so happy that her father is working again.
Ajay : Haan, maa. Tauji bhi toh ghar ka aadha kharch de rahe hai. Ab iss baat koh aur mat badhao. Kasturi do din ke liye ayee hai, usse khush rehne de.
Everyone will shut Alka up.
Kiku : Hey Kasturi, kyon na picture kaa plan banaaye. Kitne din hue, hum sab milkar nahi gaye.
Tanu and Navneet will scream: Haan chalo, chalo.
So, all the junior Chawlas will hit the road. They will roam around, eat chaat and drink lassi, talk and talk and talk. Go to an exhibition/fair that is running in Chandni Chowk and then they all will go and watch a movie.

Meanwhile, Robbie and party will reach the US. They will settle down and get ready for their first concert. Through out the flight, Robbie will think about Kasturi and wonder what is going to happen. He will make a promise to himself
Robbie : Yeh poora mahinaa, mei Kasturi se koi communication nahin rakhunga. Mei ek baar bhi uss se baat nahi karungaa. Dekhna hai mei uss ke dil mei hun ke nahin. Yeh mere pyaar ke taakat ki agnipareeksha hogi.

Next day, Kasturi and her sisters will get up early in the morning and get into the kitchen. They will not allow their Mom to do any work that day. They will take care of everything. They will also make arrangements for a small party in the evening. They will only invite a few close friends. JP will invite Sameer as he is all alone away from his family.

In the afternoon, K will gift a beautiful pearl necklace set to her Mom. It will be gorgeous and Kaushalya wil be completely taken aback.
Kaushalya : Puttar, itnaa mehengaa tohfaa!!!! Kahin yeh tu apne sasuraal waalon ke paise se toh nahin layee?
Kasturi : Nahin maa, yeh mere paise hai. Mere salary ke paise. Please maa, isse lelo. Inkaar mat karnaa. Mujhe bahut buraa lagegaa.
Everybody will force Kaushalya and she will finally accept it. Alka chachi will be burning up with jealousy.

Kaushalya will not like to cut cake etc, so they will hold a small pooja in the house and then all the guests will arrive and everybody is enjoying the party.
Sameer will come with a beautiful salwar-kameez that he has designed as a gift for Kaushalya. Everybody will love it. And Alka will think, "hai rabba, mere birthday mei aur cheh mahine hai!!!"
JP will introduce everyone to Sameer. When he introduces Kasturi, Sameer will think in his mind, Oh, toh yeh hai Kasturi. Kitni simple aur elegant hai!!! Inke peeche toh koi bhi deewaana ho sakta hai..

Tanu and Sameer will hit it off at once. Both are into fashion, one designs it and the other wears it!!! They will talk a lot and discuss a lot of things. Sameer will look around and notice Navneet and will sigh and think - Party mei bhi wahi faltoo kapade!!!
After a while Navneet will come and say hello to Sameer and will stand besides them (Sameer and Tanu) and look at them irritatedly (because all they talk about is fashion).
Sameer : Tanu, mujhe abhi bhi yakeen nahi hota ke yeh (pointing to Navneet) tumhaara bhai hai... meraa matlab hai, tumhaari behen hai!!!
Both Tanu and Sameer will burst out laughing. Navneet will get so mad.
Sameer : Sorry Navneet! I am sorry. Lekin tumhi majboor karti ho ke log tumpe aise jokes maare.
Navneet : Kya matlab?
Sameer : Yeh samjhane ke liye bahut waqt lagegaa. Uske liye phir kabhi milenge.
She will leave in a huff and they both will continue talking.

Then Girish will come. Everybody will be shocked to see him. JP will get very angry on seeing him and will be about to yell at him when Ajay will stop him.
Ajay : Tauji, Girish ko meine bulaaya hai. Girish haal hi mein jail se choota hai aur apne kiye par bahut sharmindaa hai. Woh aapse aur Kasturi se maafi maangnaa chahtha hai.
JP : Isse yahaan koi maafi nahi milegi. Iss se kaho ke yeh, yahaan se chale jaaye.
Pooja will be surprised to see her brother and feel very upset too. She will think he did not even bother to talk to her first.
Girish : Bauji, please aisa mat kahiye. Mujhe ek maukaa deejiye. Mein aapse maafi maangnaa chahtha hun. Bas ek baar keh deejiye ke mujhe maaf kiyaa, phir mei yahaan se chala jaaonga.
And he will apologize more. Pooja will get very angry thinking, why is my brother apologizing to these people this much!!
After hearing Girish out, everybody's heart melts but JP will still not be ready to accept Girish. Then finally Kausalya will say.
Kausalya : Lalaji, Subah kaa bhoola, shaam ko ghar waapas aaye, toh usse bhoola nahin kehte. Ek baar maaf kar deejiye ise. Aaj ke din, mujhe naa mat kahiye.
JP will listen to Kaushalya and then finally relent and he will forgive Girish. He will spread his arms towards Girish. Girish will first touch his feet and then embrace him and everybody will be very happy. They will continue the party. Pooja will come to greet her brother. She will ask him when he came out. Girish will say that he got out just a day before and that this is the first time he is coming out of the house. He will tell that he wants to leave early and that he will come back another day to meet her.

Then, Girish will come up to Kasturi and greet her.
Girish : Kaisi ho, Kasturi?
Kasturi (smiles) : Mei acchi hun, Girish. Tum kaise ho? Kaafi badal gaye ho. Baahar se aur andar se bhi!
Girish : Haan Kasturi, zindagi ne kaafi badal diyaa hai. Jo bhi hua uske liye mujhe maaf kar do. Tumhaari shaadi mei toh nahi aaya, lekin Congratulations aur yeh ek chota sa tohfaa.
Gives her a packet.
Girish : Yeh tumhaare aur tumhaare pati ki photo hai. Iske alaava mei abhi koi tohfaa nahi de saktaa.
And he feels very low.
Kasturi (with appreciation) : Thank you, Girish. Jo mere pati se judi ho, woh mere liye sabse keemti tohfa hai.
Girish : Accha, toh ab mei chaltaa hun. Bye
Kasturi : Bye.

Kasturi will be about to open the packet, when somebody will call her. She will put the packet on the coffee table and go.

PART - 15

Finally the party will be over, everyone will leave. Everybody in the house will go to sleep. But Kasturi cannot sleep. She is restless so she will go downstairs to watch some TV.
When she is watching TV, she will notice the packet that Girish gave, on the coffee table. She will take it and open the packet. She will take the photo out and look at it. It will be a photo of her with Robbie during her sangeet when she was going to get married to Girish!!!!!!!
Kasturi will be shocked. She will remember Girish's dialog - "Yeh tumhaare aur tumhaare pati ki photo hai." She will get confused and check to see if there are any other photos. There will not be any other photos. Then realization will dawn upon her that Girish thinks that she has married Robbie!!!!!! Nobody had told him that everything changed in the last minute and that she actually married Raunak!!!!
She will be overwhelmed with emotion and tears will flow down her eyes like two streams. She will look at that photo and say "Door hoke bhi mujhe itnaa kyun sataa rahe ho?" And then her 'other self', the (in)famous antaraatma will say "woh door kahaan? woh toh tumhaare dil mei chupke baitha hai".

In Hyderabad:

Neela, Raaga and Raunak will spend the whole weekend together. They will have a wonderful weekend reminiscing old times and talking and catching up etc. Raunak will have the best time he has had in one and a half years!!!! But time will be hanging on their head like a sword and soon the weekend is over. The same thought will be running in both Raunak and Neela's head that he will be leaving soon. Neela will be dreading what Raunak has to say next and he will say it.
Raunak : Mere saath aa jaao. Ab mei tum donon ko yahaan akele nahi chod sakta.
Neela : Raunak, please. Mei Raaga ki jaan khatre mei nahi daal sakti. Jab tak Shivani baahar hai, mei yeh risk nahi le sakti.
Raunak : Lekin, Shivani toh.....
He is about to tell her that Shivani has been in an asylum for the last year and a half, but in a flash will remember his conversation with Mr.Arora.....

Flashback:

When Mr.Arora comes to know about Raunak marrying Kasturi, he is shocked and he confronts Raunak.
Mr.Arora (totally shocked) : Raunak, yeh tumne kya kiyaa?? Tum already shaadi-shuda ho!!!!! How could you marry again? Yeh gair-kanooni hai. Tumne Neela se divorce nahi liyaa hai, so you are still married to her!!!
Raunak : Jaanta hun, Arora saab. Lekin mei kya kartaa? Situation hi aisi paidaa ho gayee, ke mujhe Kasturi se shaadi karni padi. Lekin Kasturi iss ke baare mei sab jaanti hai.
Mr.Arora : Usske jaanane yaa na jaanane se koi farak nahi padhtaa!! Yeh phir bhi against law hai. Agar dono mei se kisine bhi tumhaare khilaaf complaint darj kar diyaa, toh you will be in a soup!!!!
Raunak : I know. Meine shaadi se pehle, Kasturi ko sab kuch bataa diyaa tha, via a letter. Woh yeh sab jaankar bhi mujhse shaadi ke liye raazi ho gayi, iss liye shaayad woh mere khilaaf complaint nahi degi.
Mr.Arora : Theek hai. What about Neela? Agar usse kabhi pataa chalaa toh?
Raunak (with frustration) : Mei chahtaa hun ke usse pataa chale. Kam se kam mujhse badlaa lene ke liye hi sahi, lekin meri zindagi mei waapas toh aayegi!!!
Mr.Arora : Raunak, sambhalo apne aap ko. Meri baat dhyaan se suno. Agar kabhi tumhe Neela mil jaaye, uss se Kasturi ke baare mei kuch mat kehnaa. Pehle mujhse baat karo. Mei koi solution dhoondhtaa hun. Promise me.
Raunak : Theek hai, I promise.

Back to the current:
Raunak : Lekin, Shivani toh.....meraa matlab hai Shivaani aisa kuch nahi karegi, I promise you.
Neela : Nahi Raunak. Please don't force me. Jis din tum Shivani ke baare mei decision le sakte ho, uss din mei tumhaare saath chalne ke liye tayyar hun. Meri baat samajhne ki koshish karo.
Raunak is very frustrated and feels very guilty about hiding the truth from Neela and keeping her in dark about Kasturi. But he has to do that else he would loose Neela again.
Its impossible for Neela and Raunak to say goodbye to each other. But they do it and Raunak promises to come back the next weekend. And finally he leaves for Delhi.
Kasturi will also come back to her sasuraal.Raunak will completely avoid any major conversations with K. K does not understand why he is always busy. And every weekend he will be gone. Nandini will also notice this and will want to ask Raunak. But Raunak will avoid her too as he knows that she will not approve of what he is doing. Slowly days will pass and its 2 weeks since Robbie is gone.
In US, Robbie's concerts will be completely sold out. They will be super hit shows. He will channel all his pain into giving fantastic performances. He will be surrounded by hundreds of people everywhere he goes, but he will still feel lonely. Both Robbie and Kasturi will survive the day time because of work etc, but when night falls, both will suffer like hell. Kasturi will try very hard to not think about him, but the moment she is back in her room ,alone in the night, her thoughts will be automatically transported to him.
After 2 weeks of hectic schedule, one night Robbie will miss her even more than usual. He will try hard not to think about her but by midnight he just cannot handle the pain anymore and picks up the phone to call her. Its daytime in India and Kasturi is at work. She will pick up the phone
Kasturi : Hello
Hearing her voice will bring such relief to Robbie. It will be like the first drops of rain that fall on a scorched earth! They are absorbed by earth as soon as they fall!! Her voice has the same effect on him. He will close his eyes and imagine her.
Kasturi : Hello, kaun bol rahaa hai?
Robbie will not reply. He badly wants to, but remembers his promise that he will not talk to her.
Kasturi is surprised. She again says : Hello...........
Robbie fears that he will loose his control and with great difficulty will end the call. He will be completely enveloped with emotion and will throw the phone in frustration.
Kasturi hears the other person end the call and will suddenly become restless. She will check to see who called and it will come up as an Out of Area number on her mobile. She will immediately realize that it was Robbie. His thoughts will distract her so much that she cannot think straight, she cannot concentrate on work anymore!!
Robbie will walk out into the balcony of his hotel room. He is in Manhattan. He looks at the lighted NY skyline but hardly notices how beautiful it is. His thoughts and mind are completely filled with Kasturi and we hear the following song in the background. (Guys, this is a beautiful song by Mohm.Rafi ji from the movie 'Guide'. He sings this song in such a soulful manner, that it really hurts!!!! And the lyrics by Shailendra ji totally suit the current situation. I hope you will like this song selection...I am a little apprehensive, because I am choosing an old song. I am a huge old songs buff.)

One day Kasturi will get a call from one of her college friends. She will be getting married in 15 days and her reception will be in Hotel Sheraton and she will invite K for the reception. K will agree to come.
Soon the month will be up. R will finish all his concerts in US and Canada and he will be coming back to India. Everyone in the house will be very excited about his coming back, including Kasturi. But she will be both excited as well as worried!!!!

Raunak and Neela are meeting every weekend. Its like they cannot stay away from each other anymore. The Friday that Robbie and Devika are expected back, Neela will inform Raunak that she is coming to Delhi for a case that she is working on. He will be very excited and will immdeiately book her a room in Sheraton and will decide to spend the whole weekend with her. And so he will tell Kasturi
Raunak (trying to hide his guilt) : Kasturi, mujhe yeh weekend bhi out of town jaana hai. Kaam hai. Mei Monday ke din waapas aaunga.
Kasturi will be disappointed. She was hoping that atleast this weekend Raunak will be here and that will help her, support her to stand her ground against Robbie's magic.
Robbie will come home the next day!!! As soon as he reaches, Nandini will do aarti to him and will look at him with a lot of pride. Robbie is looking at her very affectionately too. Everybody will bombard them with questions, congratulate him on the success of his tour, rave about him, his performances etc. Robbie will just smile and say thank you. Devika will be doing all the talking. Robbie's eyes are looking everywhere to catch a glimpse of her. But she is not there. Though disappointed Robbie will not feel bad because he will think
Robbie : Woh sabke saamne mujhse nahi mil sakti. Iskaa matlab, mei abhi bhi uske dil mei hun!!!!!

He will go to his room, but before leaving will go to Nandini and say
Robbie : Thank you, Aunty. Aap ke bagaair yeh kaamyaabi mumkin nahi thi!
Nandini : You are most welcome! Tumhe yun dekhkar bahut khushi ho rahi hai!!!

K will completely avoid R for a whole day. He will settle down and get back to his routine. The next day he will have an appointment to meet a couple of executives of a recording studio to discuss recording his new album. They will decide to meet for dinner at Sheraton!!!

i am waiting for kasturi to wake up and smell the cofee.

hey pragalbha, i thought you didn't write any scene that's why i didn't leave any comment otherwise, i'm ur biggest fan but just checked it now. in part 14 i liked alka, everyone thinks she's evil but i think she's hilarious. 😆 and then the first rain drop was fabulous, really love how express your ideas. ab jaldi jaldi kabaab se hadi nikalo aur robbie and kasturi ko milau. (kabbab mein hadi means ranauk). 😆 love ur fanfics. 😛

You got Robbie back 😳.... wow and I'm so happy about his success.... The song that you have used is so apt.... I have heard that song its really painful.... but Robbie singing it...I tried to imagine it and burst out laughing.... I'm so glad to know that you are a old songs buff too.... even I love old songs... they are really so good 😃!!!!

I'm waiting eagerly for the firecrackers to blow at hotel Sheraton... I think we should call them up and inform them to get their fire extinguishers ready.... Continue soon....
