*Kasturi follows Navneet down the stairs and the rest of the family is sitting there*

K: bauji kya hua?

Bauji: kuch nahin hua beta, bus tum saab ko ek achi kabar sunani thi

Navneet: Kya bauji???

JP: actually hamara dost aur uska parivaar ko hum saab na kuch thar ka liya hamara sath rana ka liya bulaya ha

K: Kaun dost?

Kaushalya: wohi, Raunak aur uska parivaar, woh saab itna door ratha hain, aur hum na tho un saab ko thori thar ka liya hamara paas bulay liya

K: *Excited* sach?!

Alka: aab tuma kyun itni khushi ho rahi hai? dost tho tumara papa ka haan aur khushi tumi itni ho rahi hai

K: *gets shy and begins to speak but is cut off by bauji*

Bauji: aur hamara is parivaar main, jab ek ko khushi hothi hai tho saab ko uska liya aur bi khushi hothi ha, hai na?

Alka: *angry* hai, is parivaar main itna jo pyar hai *rolls eyes*

JP: woh saab agla havtha (next week) aara haan

NEXT SCENE BAK AT ROBBIES HOUSE

*Raunak comes downstairs the next morning and his father wants to talk to him*

Ra: ji papa kya bath ha?

Dad: Raunak! Main tume woh London wali business proposal discuss karna chatha tha

Ra: kya ha dad

Dad: well they called u next week to come to London

Ra: ji dad mera woh company ka manager ka sath bath ho gi thi

*Raunak leaves for work and his dad goes to robbies room and robbie is still asleep, and raunaks dad shakes his head and wakes him up*

R: kya uncle, ya bi koi time hai utana ka?

Ra's dad: aara robbie 12 baja hai!

R: dekha is liye tho ma karan hu..sirf 12 baja hai

Ra's dad: acha acha, suna meri bath

R: Kya?

Ra's dad: woh mera dost na hum saab ho agla havtha uska ghar thora dino ka liye rehna ka liye bulaya hai

R: aur main kya karun?

Ra's dad: robbie, last time jaab woh saab aaya tha tho tum ghar pa nahin tha, aur is vari Raunak na bi kam ka liye London jaana hai, so tum hum saab ka sath chalo ga

R: Kya?! itna din main na koi parties, aur mujhe ek chota sa ghar main rehna ho ga.

Ra's dad: main tha hun ka Chandni Chawk ka ghar itna shandar nahin hotha, likyan uno na haam saab sa bulaya hai

R: Nahin

Ra's dad: Hain!

R: NO NO NO!

Ra's dad: yes yes yes!

R: NOOOO!

*Raunak father looks visibly upset and is about to leave when robbie mutters...*

R: aur waisa bi main wahan kisa bath karun ga?

Ra's dad: wohi tho, wahan kasturi aur uski bena (sisters) tumara haan ki ha (are your age)

R: Kasturi!

Ra's dad: *confused* hain...

R: dekh lu ga

*Raunak's father leaves*

R: *to himself* aab tho robbie tuma jaana hi paara ga, woh kasturi jo wahan ha, hum bi dekhan woh kya chehra ha jisa hum itna dino sa bath kar rahein hai...aur agar mujhe yeh shart jeetnee hai tho mujhe usa sirf bath karna nahin zaroori hai par usa milna bi zaroori hai

AT KASTURI HOUSE

*Everyone is getting ready to greet the guest making food and cleaning the house spotless*

Alka: hai ram! saab ko ho kya gaya hai...aara dost hi tho aaran hai, na ki koi raja

Tanu: hehehehe, thayji hum is ghar main-

Alka: malum hai, main kya is ghar ka rivaj nahin janthi...mahman (guests) hamara ghar main bhagwan ki taran hotha hain

Kaushalaya: blikul sahi kaha tumne alka, aara Tanu woh Kasturi ko kehna ka woh kaana thayaar (get food ready) rakha, itni dur sa aayan ha...buk tho laga gi

Alka: Hain, aur Tanu Kasturi sa yeh bi katha ka, jaa uska paas time hai tho hamara sidewalk bi phuloon (flowers) se decorate kar thana

Kaushalaya: *shakes head at Alka's sarcasm and walks off

*Alka rolls her eyes and shakes her head and walks off*

Tanu: Kasturi di! mama na kaha hai ka kana ka saaman table pa rakh thana

Kasturi: acha, rakh thu gi

*Navneet walks into the kitchen where Kasturi and Tanu are*

Navneet" AAGAAA! AAAGAA! *runs out of kitchen* BAUJI MA, PAPA, THAYJI AAGA WOH AAGA!

*The whole family quicky fixes themselves up and Alka pust on some extra lipstick when no one is looking and make there way to the driveway to greet the guests. Kasturi though decided to stay in the kitchen when Navneet walks in*

Navneet: Kasturi di, woh aaga

Kasturi: patha hai mujhe

Navneet: tho aap yahaan kya kar raheen ha?

Kasturi: woh...bus...

Navneet: *giggles* sharma gayi *winks*

Kasturi: Navneet, chup! main ya kaana ka saaman rakh thi hun, tum bar saab sa milka aao

*Navneet leaves and joins the family outside. The Singhania/Sabharwal family steps out of the jeep and up the driveways, everyone is very excited to see them. Last but not least Robbie jumps out of the jeep sniffing the air and is purely grossed out by it. He doesnt know which one is Kasturi is remember cuz he hasnt seen her, but Kasturi still thinks its Raunak. Navneet looks around for Raunak for Kasturi*

Navneet: Raunak nahin aaya uncle ji

Ra's dad: nahin woh nahin aaya beta, usna london ek zaroori kam ke liye jaana para...likyan robbie aaya hai hamara sath...ROBBIE!

*Robbie walks over and says hi to everyone, Navneet looks upset and gives the eye to Tanu who just shrugs and everyone walks inside.*

Robbie: *stops navneet* sorry i didnt get ur name?

Navneet: Navneet

Robbie: *points at Tanu* aur woh?

Navneet: Tanu

Robbie: acha

navneet: *looks confused and walks into kitchen*

kasturi: raunak aaya...i mean...

navneet: nahin!

kasturi: *visibly upset* kya? kyun?

navneet: usko koi london main kam tha...

kasturi: acha *gets more upset* koi bath nahin, kabhi kabhi aisa hi hotha hai

Bauji: KASTURI BETA! aara chai lekha aao saab ka liye *shouts from liiving room*

kasturi: ji bauji, chal navneet tu woh saaman chak aur main yeh chai la jathi hun

*Kasturi and navneet walk into the living room with the chai, robbie looks up at kasturi, he finds her pretty but since its robbie alot of girls are pretty to him. kasturi looks at robbie as she sets down the chai, and he doesnt move his gaze but she does.*

navneet: *whispers to kasturi after kasturi is done setting the chai down* robbie, uska room jiska itna messy tha.

Kasturi: *giggles*

Navneet: kash ya raunak hotha
