You may remember this cutie from his role on "Summerland" (we miss Summerland, wah!) And, now he's starring as Troy in Disney Channel's Original Movie "High School Musical" – here, he answers our goofy questions!

The first thing I do every morning is: sing in the shower.
About my pets: my dogs are crazy. They're always getting into some kind of trouble… but then again, they're my most loyal friends.
I exercise: all the time. After watching the entire Rocky series, I got hooked on fitness.
Lately I've been surprised by: my brother… yesterday he made me reach into a dark, scary hole to look for a golf ball he accidentally threw in. When I put my hand down there, he screamed "SNAAAAAAKE!" at the top of his lungs. I almost passed out in fear. He laughed.
The cereals in my cupboard are: Kashi, Granola, Honey Nut Cheerios and Quaker oats.
I'll eat sushi… and pretty much anything else.
My coolest article of clothing: Gucci aviators. BEST PRESENT EVER.
My most prized possession: my autographed baseball collection. I've got almost every player from the GIANTS for the past 10 years – except BARRY BONDS!... I'm working on that…
My TV screen is: pretty small…
My favorite TV channel is: Spike.
My first financial splurge: I bought an electric scooter in sixth grade. Bankrupted me.
Wackiest fan encounter: I was at a Cheetah Girls concert a few weeks ago and a little girl came up and asked for an autograph. I said yes and pretty soon the whole audience wanted one. So many people came that security had to escort me out of the building. They sort of threw me outside in a back alley and said I couldn't come in until the concert started. Pretty soon my good friend Ashley Tisdale was thrown out there with me… good times!
Before I die, I want to: discover I REALLY DO have super powers… I just didn't know it yet
Celebrity whom I'd ask for an autograph: Kobe Bryant.
Dream car: Toyota Supra from "The Fast and the Furious." Unless I can finally get my Delorean (the car from back to the future) to run
When I fly I have to have… rocket boots! Otherwise I always seem to fall…

If I had to spend $10 at my favorite fast food joint, I'd order: the honey mustard chicken with bacon sandwich from Quiznos. You know heaven? It's kinda like that….
TEEN: Were you at all interested in singing before you got the part in High School Musical? Was that something that you envisioned yourself doing?
Zac Efron: I've always been singing. Since day one. I started doing musical theater and you have to sing in musical theater and so that's where I got most of my training. So singing on stage, you just inevitably, when you're around other vocal artists, you get better at singing. And after that, I started taking lessons. I've done a lot of voice stuff and slowly when you hit puberty, your voice sort of disappears in a weird way but I'm starting to get it back. And hopefully when I'm done training it will be stronger than ever.
TEEN: Is singing something you would want to pursue one day?
Z.E.: Possibly, but it's gonna take a long time because I would really put my heart and soul into an album. I wouldn't just have other people write songs and me go out and sing it. I would sit down with a guitar and write 11 or 12 good songs for an album and that is gonna take a long time.
TEEN: How long have you been playing guitar?
Z.E.: Well, I'm working on it. Gibson just gave me a free guitar. I'm starting to hopefully write songs.
TEEN: So what music do you like to listen to?
Z.E.: Everything. I wish Lucas (from High School Musical) was here, he knows all the artists' names. But anyone on the Garden State soundtrack. Who else? Jack Johnson and John Mayer.
TEEN: What qualities do you look for in a girl?
Z.E.: I think if a girl is easy to talk to then that's the first thing I look for. It's great when you meet a girl and three hours later you're like, "Oh my gosh, we've been talking for three hours, what happened to the time?" I just think that is a great connection and you know there is potential there.
TEEN: If you could choose any actress to work with, who would it be?
Z.E.: Reese Witherspoon or Catherine Zeta-Jones.
TEEN: And…If you could ask any celebrity a question, who would it be and what would you ask them?
I would probably go to Kobe Bryant and ask, "How did you get so good at basketball?"
