Ekta Kapoor's Kkavyanjali (Star Plus) has a replacement – tonight, Nisha Sareen steps into Megha Gupta's shoes.

Megha, who played Disha, has dropped out to concentrate on her studies. Nisha is elated with her new assignment.

"It's a great role. Why would I refuse it?" she asks.

Megha is in her final year of the Mass Media course at Wilson College, and could not adjust her studies and shooting schedules.

"I tried my best, but it was becoming too much," she says. Initially, things were cool. "They had a bank and the schedules were not so hectic. But slowly, I found that I could not do justice to my studies."

Megha was warned by her college to improve her attendance. "I could not even attend my Culture Studies examination due to the shooting.

Now I will appear for the same subject as a KT," she rues. "But I will be back on television. After my final exams are over in March, I will take up new roles," says the actress.

Sareen's acting career

Nisha Sareen made her debut on the small screen in a 20-episode cameo as Apeksha in Kahiin To Hoga. Currently, she plays Dweep in K Street, Pali Hill.

Sareen graduated from St Xavier's College and started her acting career with theatre. Prior to Kahiin To Hoga, she was seen in the plays, My Best Friend's Wedding and Black With Equal.

She also played a part in Samar Khan's debut film, Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye.

😭I hate her....Yucks!!!I agree with E$HA...This girl looks like she is going to join Vanshita's gang and create problems between Kkavya and Anjali!I really hate her acting!

She was with my Eijaz in Kkoi Dil Mein Hai also....Mood Hi kharab kar diya!😭😭

lolz..i remember in KDMH in the courtroom she was the 1 who said dat eijaz had sum mark on his back...so we shld thank her 4 that otherwise we wldnt b able 2 see eijaz's hot back😉😆

but other than that, she sux bigtime🤢 shez so ugly
