If u guys remember Nattu once had a crush on Raashi. How about a Nattu-Raashi marriage. That way she will still be a member of the Walia family. Although this will mean that she will become Ranveer's step maami. 😉

Sheen,

Yes it's high time Ranveer lets the cat outta the bag. He better do it before it's too late. They might be scared to tell her the truth keeping her health in mind. She believes that she's cured because of Ranveer's love. Now if she comes to know that he doesn't love her anymore, her health might get affected and the cancer might re-lapse. But this cannot go on for ever. You're right..the 3 witches might do the honours ! Or when Rano gets preggers. And I agree it was foolish of Raashi to assume that nothing wud've happned in 5 yrs. She should have thought abt the possibilities.

Nibbles,

You took the words out of my mouth. I would love to see an independent, strong and successful Raashi rather than her being in a loveless unwanted marriage or becoming another Pia. One Pia is enough !

Umfaiz,
I think it's harsh and cold to say that she doesn't deserve love in life. Nobody deserves that kind of life. Agreed she's the one who got them together, but at that point the circumstances were like that. I would rather Raashi gets divorced instead and live her life happily. She deserves some happiness after fighting Cancer for 5 yrs and being away from everyone.

Pri,
Yup...I do remember Nattu crushing on Raashi making sanyasi jealous 😆 And Ranveer even proposed their marriage. I think it won't be that bad if they get married now 😊. Who knows, Ranveer might go Green with envy.

Umfaiz,

Absolutely agree with you.

Raashi 😡 . Couldn't stand her pre leap with her incessant crying - can't stand her more with her absolutely self-serving, selfish behaviour. How could she think that in 5 years RanRan didn't develop a relationship or god forbid fall in love? Her only saving grace is that she is a fervent supporter of JB.

I feel sorry for Rano. Although there is no comparison between her relationship with Ranveer and Pia's relationship ( 🤢 I feel ill even writing this sentence) with Jai Walia - I'm sure that as soon as Pia finds out she will point fingers.

Rano's and Ranveer's relationship was taken slowly - God 5 years - and they grew to love each other. They were friends before and now lovers. Ranveer's relationship with Raashi was completely different. He was forced into it with her - but eventually developed feelings for her. I can't see his feelings for Raashi being as strong as his feelings for Rano. From the relationship the destructives have shown between Rano and Ranveer post - leap, they share a deep meaningful relationship that seems to be based on mutual respect and equality. That is not the relationship that existed between him and Raashi. It was a relationship of inequity. I'm sure given time and Raashi developing some self-confidence their relationship would have improved as most arranged marriages do but - excuse my language - damn it! That was the past - RanRan are the present and future.

Raashi needs to realize that she has had an emotional, purely mental relationship with Ranveer for the past 5 years - if we are to believe the destructives. Rano and Ranveer have lived a life together - sharing their joys and sorrows with hugs and tears, watching their 'child' grow up. Being there for each other. Their relationship is deeper than the very short relationship Raashi shared with Ranveer.

Just my 2 cents.

First off Mikalya, well done for starting a thread on an issue like this - about loveless marriage.

This issue of marriage without love actually goes beyond simply Raashi and Ranvir... in everyday life and with real people, the issue is a very relevent and important one.

I'd go about answering it in 2 parts - first about the base issue and secondly about the particular case of Ranvir-Raashi.

My personal opinion on the loveless marriage thing is based on something my Dad told me when I was a teenager... he told me that "without the presence of love, marriage becomes a burdon. Without love, couples cannot be happy". I believed him back then and I still believe it to this very day - in fact, that is partly the reason why I swore to lifelong celibacy.

Because my understanding of the "love" phenomenon is severely limited, I'm not in the best position to make to much of a comment on this issue... but my opinion is that no one should ever be unfortunate enough to be stuck in a relationship that is one sided - where for some reason, one partner is not committed. Such cases in real life are quite tragic and sad to hear about. Marriage is a massive responsibility and therefore both the guy and the lady should both be 101% committed.

And now for Ranvir and Raashi...

This issue is quite complicated for 2 reasons - firstly, Raashi almost disowns Ranvir and FORCES him not only to marry Rano, but also to learn to love her!!! On top of that, she refused to let him stay in contact with her whilst she was undergoing treatment!

And secondly, (I'm assuming this point from what members have posted in this thread, because I have not watched the India episodes from last week), for some reason, Ranvir is not saying anything to Raashi about how times have changed and that he loves Rano 😕

So because of Raashi forcing Ranvir to be with Rano 5 years ago, I can understand the point of view by my sparring partner umfaiz 😆 I really do think that it is crazy for Raashi to simply waltz back into Ranvir's life after all that. I mean, it's highly unfair on Rano as well. Raashi is no longer the wise girl that she used to be. Her blood cancer may have been successfuly treated... but now she needs similar miraculous treatment for insanity!

And why Ranvir and Rano are staying quiet totally beats me... honesty is the best policy. By staying quiet, Rano and Ranvir or not doing themselves any good at all. Everyone has a moral duty to make a stance for what is right... Ranvir and Rano really should speak out to Raashi!

Anyways, that's just my view 😊

God bless.

Scifichick,
I agree with what you said about the relationships. I'm sure if given more time to understand each other and share a life together, Ranveer-Raashi's would've been a better relationship than what it is now. And Ranveer-Rano do share even a deeper relationship because they had a lot of time to know each other before they became a couple.

Ravi,
You've put it very well. Kudos to you !! You have said everything that needs to be told. I have nothing much to add.

Rina and others,
I appreciate your responses and respect all your opinions 😊.

Take care.

Awesome discussion Mikayla!

I went to a wedding a couple of weeks ago and the pastor said to the couple:
"I've told everyone one and I'm telling you too, you can't survive just on love. There is more to a marriage than just love. However, you can't survive without it either."
No, Raashi does not deserve a loveless marriage, I don't think anyone really does.
At the sametime though, I don't think Raashi deserves Ranveer anymore. Now I understand 6 months ago Ranveer probably didn't deserve her, but he changed and he did everything in his power to please her, or what he thought a husband should do for his wife. He even got re-married so that she would continue her treatment.
It took Daadi to convince him that he & Rano should be together, cause Raashi wanted to see him happy.
I don't think its right that for Raashi to waltz in and think that Ranveer would be just waiting for her, or expect that out of him.
I think Ranveer & Rano don't know how to break it to her. Really how do you tell a terminal illness survivor that their spouse loves someone else.
From Ranveer's actions, he seems like he wants to tell Raashi but Rano won't let him, I think Rano will fight Ranveer till she gets pregnant.

Bottom Line: No more triangles please! Let Ranveer be happy with Rano!
