I know i'm taking this very personally!!..but enuff is enuff now!! They seriuosly need to stop saying crap about punjabis. and stop being racist....I cant take this anymore....I really dont appreciate this...being so rude about it.

Ok agree its juss a show..but..its like can u get over of this freakin whole a punjabi gal marryin to gujju guy?? its over they are married....so stop creating scenes about it. they need to start pickin on sumthin else.diff topic..dis is really irritating now. I was quite till now..thinkin ya juss a show...but they r juss stuck on this topic..like a piece of gum.😡

As far as i have seen in US episode, i don't think they are degrading Punjabis,I think they are just trying to show first, culture difference and then economical difference between these two families, Plus they are just trying to show how Koki is using anything she can to put her daughter in low down 😡

There is nothing to be offensive about I agree they show stuff but it is not so serious dont take it personally it just a show and if u dont like it dont watch it

Its not about if i don like it..and i shouldnt watch it. My point is why da heck they' r mkin big issue about it. ...specially regarding bein punjabi...they wont leave any chance to make fun of it. even if dont watch dis show. still they wont stop doing dis. dats not gonna help...wut i'm saying is ..they shouldn do dis anymore. get over...is there any way i can email or suggest to someone regarding dis??

Weel i agree. But there will be time in serial when Manjeet will proove herself above Koki and then the serial will start respecting Punjabis, even now other family memebers never show rudeness to Punjabi, but only Koki makes her look down. No offence.

well i agree with you & punjabi angel i am a punjabi too & i feel that they are doing it a lot just stop this caz it's not good & it hurts. punjabi's are not like that as they say but then it's a show and i like the show

I agree with P-A prejudice in any way is rude and ugly. And by the way, they could have shown Koki not liking her because she wasn't her choice or because they went behind her back or because she isn't rich. Any of those would have been equally stupid reasons to go against this girl, but atleast they would not be prejudice against a whole group of people. But speaking of prejudice, I'm Black and have yet to see any of your characters on any of your shows marry or even date a Black girl or guy, atleast not on Zee. (The closest is Saloni, who is darker than I am, btw. And she is treated awfully!) Its true its all tv, and just a show, blah, blah, blah, but if you watch that show you don't want to see your equivalent being discriminated against. Anyway, I'm sure if they let up a little on the Punjabi prejudice it will be easier for P-A to watch, but until then she should just focus on how immature and unbecoming it is for Koki to act like she does period, regardless of where her bahu is from.
