u Know Niti nair reached TOP 3 in FAME X & she is also Malayali But I never supported her too😕...so u cant say like there is regionalism...Almost all my fav from bengali btu I never been Bengal😉😆😆

as I mentioned in another thread I liked this gal more from others but still am waiting for my Idol who can make me just WOW in first performance itself😳..May be in future performances may make me support some others too...Lets see..😃

II-1 My fav was Aditi paul from bengal & II-2 ofcourse Antara from Bengal...In Fame Gurukul Mona form Delhi was my most fav & in SRGMP 2005 Himani from Delhi...In LC Sanchita From Bengal...In SRGMP 2007 Its Mauli Dave from US...So far no one was similar to others in singing...All got some unique characters which attracts me & so I dont compare them at all...😉So I wont say I need a gal like Antara or Himani or Mona or Aditi or Sanchita this time...😃😃

So let me wait for my new Idol now with some unique style😳😃

BTW u seems fallen for Shantanu rt?😉 Kuch Kuch Hua kya...today Audition will be completed Next week they will show Theatre round guess !!! In that there will couple song & Solo song round too !!! So by next week probably every TOP 28 will go thru !!!😛😛

^^^no sumesh, i havent fallen for him yet 😆 😆 😆 i liked that malayali guy before who came also with guitar in the first audition in blue shirt and udit sang something in malayali for him so i guess the guy is malayali, then there is richa, rashmi, and shantanu and others. i will still have to wait and see who is good, probably when they start the contest

thank goodness, i am so done with the auditions who come in clumsy clothes and act stupid, especially that dhoom dhoom guy left a weird sensation 😆 waiting for the theatre round now 😛

yeah he is mallu too Sriju Premraaj something like that but I guess he wont be selected to TOP 28...

Rashmi was my junior in school and won a LOT of singing competitions. I am so proud of her doing so well and hopefully bringing laurels to our school. Another trivia about her is that she was the runner up at the Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Middle East Muqabala which was going on during the end of SRGMP Challenge..she lost to sum1 who was MUCH older and Aadesh Srivastav and Ismail Darbar told her that she lost closely and just because the other lady sounded more mature. However after hearing her now, I think she has good potential.

Vanita is a family friend and have almost grown up with her !! She used to sing at family prayers and gatherings.. I've never heard her sing bollywood songs till recently when she was a semi finalist in Middle East Muqabala too.. interestingly, both Rashmi and Vanita lost to Mridula, the lady who ended up winning !! Both of them are very well trained in Carnatic Classical music.

I so hope they make it to the final 10 !! Will def. vote for them 😃

I have watched the SRGMP Middle east Muqabala series since I live in Dubai. Sorry, but all the girls in that contest, except for Mridula (the winner) were very average. I love all musical shows and never miss them, but I sometimes felt like giving this series a miss because of average singing.

Rashmi and Vanitha were also average then. Hopefully they have improved now with training and riyaaz and they do well in II3! Godd luck to both of them.

the girl in this pic is vanita only. her hair style in this pic is lke rashmi though.
