Part 1

The TV was showing its latest update on abhishiek and ashwirya's wedding which had become talk of the whole nation. "ek aur bakra shaheed ho gaya" a hand quickly switched off the television.

"Hi I am kripa ….. kripa Bhatia, does this name ring anything well if its not the name then its my surname which does the honors yes I am kripa Bhatia daughter of suman and rajesh Bhatia the famous politicians of India rather the western part of India, well after having such famous parents I was always shadowed of under their popularity… this irritated me so much that I declared that I would be going to study in a boarding school away from my parents , finally after many trails I got my wish and today I am completely independent and practicing as a gynecologist in the city hospital of jaipur, well that is where my family stays."

"Last month I turned 25 and this fact has made my parents very tensed, finally they have given up politics and have taken up a new job of finding me a suitable groom. Let them try but I am keen that I won't get married because for me marriage is nothing but a compromise that you have to do for a lifetime…now you guys must be thinking why so, I have a solid reason for that too… take my parents for instance they dint marry because they were in love but married because made a compromise for their career my dad was an aspiring politician and my mom belonged to another political party and they landed up marrying each other for the sake of their career and nothing else. Secondly my elder brother karan who is about 7 years elder to me married nandini about four years ago , he had a love marriage and finally all I get to see is nandini waiting for karan to comeback home till 3 in the morning and even if he returns he is fully drunk and nandini has to handle all his anger burst outs. Karan apart from being a horrible husband is a loving brother and an ideal son because he has taken up the trouble to leading my dad's political career and good brother because he never interferes in my life. Well this is what I am and this is my story…..oh!!! sorry not mine but our story let me introduce you to my best friend and sister ANJALI."

"Thanks kripa I can give my introduction myself" screamed a voice behind kripa

"Hi it me anjali Bhatia, now kripa must have introduced her parents to you and now its my turn well I am the only daughter of neelam and rishi Bhatia, rishi Bhatia is the younger brother of rajesh Bhatia so that makes me kripa's first cousin, but right from the child hood we have been more of friends than sisters, unlike rajesh Bhatia my dad does not handle or takes part in politics infact he is an actor, he was one of the top ten actors of India once….. but now he is an industrialist and doing well. Just like kripa I also felt out shadowed but my parents personality and landed up joining kripa in her school, kripa even after being 3 whole months elder to me has never dominated me as an elder sister in fact I am the one who has dominated her. Unlike kripa I am an aeronautical engineer and my target is to work with NASA, but due to recent change in the events my dreams have come to an halt the first change being that my elder brother sujal who happens to be 5 years elder to me is getting married to kashish shah a fashion designer in a fortnight's time. My brother is also an ideal son just like karan bhai he has always obeyed my dad's words and followed his footsteps but I was a rebellion since birth, my second problem is my age my parents tell me that I am getting old so even they have joined hands with rajesh kaku and kaki to get me married along with kripa."

"Marriage for me is nothing but a certificate to satisfy your body urges well I know it sounds sarcastic but to tell you the truth I feel that me and my brother are nothing but the result of their sexual satisfaction because my mom and dad got married because my dad had made my mom pregnant before marriage and the result was my brother. Well that was all about my life sorry I mean our lives."

"Don't get confused by the things we said about our family this does not mean that we hate our mom and dad or our brothers we love them to bits and our grand mom being the most lovely person on earth we love her too but the fact of our life is WE DON'T WANT TO MARRY."

"Now you guys stop imagining things the we are waiting for our prince charming to sweep us off our feet just like our grand mom says you know she says that our partners will come straight from the sky ie "aasman se tapkege"

"aur khajoor pe atkege" laughed kripa.

"well all we want to say that this is our life and our story"

Far away in an unknown place beyond their imagination two people were actually falling down from an helicopter and when they were about to land safely on the ground their parachute got stuck up in one the branches of a tree "kavya main teri jaan le loonga" screamed a good looking man who was hanging upside down on the branch

"angad please meri jaan bad mein lena phele iss musibat se toh bacha" screamed the other guy who was also hanging

Suddenly they heard a screeching sound "kavya did you hear something"

"angad looks like" he looked up and saw the branch breaking, within no time the branch broke down and they fell on the ground.

So the next part will have the introduction of the grooms and their views on marriage . till then wait for the part that would be up by Saturday.
