Chapter 41

After their graduation is complete, the wedding preparations are now in full swing. The women of both households are going crazy and with them are their present and future husbands. Naina and Gayatri are busy stressing about minor details, like hall arrangements, food, guest lists, etc. They have gotten Dilip and Surya to book a big hall for the shaadi. For now, their first celebration for the shaadi is the sangeet, which is coming up. The girls have been busy shopping with their grooms, looking for saris, lenghas, and sherwanis. The guys feel so bored, being dragged to all these clothing and jewelry stores. It is exhausting. In any case, the girls eventually pick out their outfits for each occasion and matching outfits for the guys as well. Soon enough the days for celebration arrive, starting with the sangeet.

The sangeet is to be held at the Sharma House, since the engagement was held at the Khanna House. The Sharma House is decorated quite lavishly with Gayatri and Surya supervising the arrangements. The lights outline the outside of the entire house. There are lights everywhere including candles and chandeliers. There are two tents set up on either end of the house and big area in between for dances. There is a stage decorated as well. Now since this wedding is of multiple couples and there is no definite boys and girls side, the guests would be divided into boys against girls.

The girls get ready, while the boys lollygag until the last minute to get ready. The girls blow away the boys in their very hot outfits. Kripa wears a light blue lengha with heavy silver embroidery on the lengha, with a deeply cut back. Anjali wears a light green lengha with a wide neckline exposing her collar bones. Prachi wears a light purple lengha with a deep back and a lace tie at the top. Angad wears a dark blue shirt with a black suit. Kavya wears a dark green shirt with a black suit. Neev wears a dark purple shirt with a black suit. The contrasts of the pairs made them all look absolutely perfect together.

As soon as the guests arrive they evenly distribute themselves either with the boys' side or the girls' side. Oh and aunties dancing doesn't count for either side because their random dance moves honestly doesn't score anyone points. Dilip and Surya come in the center and announce, "Thank you all for coming to the sangeet of our children! Now we are going to have all three couples compete with each other, then the girls vs. the boys!!! First will be Neev and Prachi!! Then Kavya and Anjali!! And last but not least Angad and Kripa!! So everyone enjoy and have a good time!!"

Neev and Prachi both get up reluctantly because it's pretty awkward going first. They go back stage and are really jittery. There is a spotlight that hits the stage while the song plays from Ta Ra Rum Pum.

Neev keeps spinning Prachi over and over until the end of the song. The only thing that is keeping Prachi from falling on the ground is Neev's strong grip and Prachi holding onto his neck with her eyes closed.

Prachi then opens her eyes to see Neev so close to herself and freaks out! She starts screaming, which causes Neev to let go because of the shock from her outburst. Prachi falls flat on her butt while everyone laughs at their silly behavior. Prachi turns red from embarrassment. Neev scoops her up in his arms and carries her off stage, then gently places her on the ground. Prachi feels like everyone is watching them, which is making her really conscious. Then Kavya and Anjali make their way towards the stage confidently to dance and sing to from Kaal.

Anjali gets annoyed by Kavya because everyone is staring at the couple and is fully aware of Anjali's attempts to get free. They are all silently giggling. Anjali then stomps on his foot and walks away while Kavya falls to the ground holding his foot, then eventually limping off stage. Well now its Angad and Kripa's turn to light up the stage so they make their way towards the stage to perform to from Dhoom 2.

down her neck and then turns her around. Kripa gets chills running down
her spine at his electrifying touch.

Angad points to his heart and then at Kripa while dancing. Kripa laughs at Angad's funny dance move. Angad pulls Kripa close to himself.

grinning, while she sings. Angad looks at her angrily and really annoyed.

Kripa sticks out her tongue at Angad and signals with her thumb down,
showing he lost.

When Angad comes near Kripa, she pushes him away, which then
makes him really mad. Kripa laughs at his fuming expressions.

Kripa actually finds this quite amusing.

Angad and Kripa take a bow and stick their tongues out at Kavya, Anjali, Prachi, and Neev, while they just roll their eyes and laugh at Angad and Kripa's childish behavior. Dilip and Surya then announce, "Now we will have the girls and boys compete against one another! First will be the GUYS!" The boys groan because they have to dance again while the girls laugh at their expressions. The girls begin taunting the guys. Anjali says, "What happened? You guys are accepting defeat even before we started…very bad!" The girls start laughing until Kavya says, "We will see who will be the loser soon enough!" Anjali reples, "Sure…loser!" Kavya replies, "DAM* STRAIGHT…wait what?" The girls laugh at Kavya while Kavya just walks away to meet Angad, Neev, Prem, and Josh in the back to perform. The guys pick the song from Garam Masala.

The guys come on stage one by one all surrounded by girls. They start
blowing kisses to all the girls in the audience while Kripa, Anjali, Prachi, Mukti, and Aaliya get really mad. The guys grin at the girls expressions.

The guys sing to their sweethearts while the girls look totally shocked and
embarrassed. The guys keep going closer to their own lover's face
making the girls feel really awkward because of all the people there. The
guys know they are totally making the girls feel weird, but that's why
they chose this song in the first place, so that they could watch their
funny expressions and laugh about it later.

Angad sings to Kripa looking at her beauty. He bends down on his knee
and spreads his arms out humorously, Kripa just hides her amusement

her up and down, then gesturing she looks perfect. This causes Anjali to blush.

Prachi feels really shy at this point.

Prem taps his heart and points towards Mukti as he dances around
her. Prem keeps pulling on her dupatta and bothering her one way
or another.

Josh starts coming closer to Aaliya, wanting so badly to kiss her
because she looks breathtaking. Aaliya turns red because of the lyrics.

Angad check out Kripa's every curve while she stands there feeling really
arrogant because of Angad's lyrical flattering.

because the song is making her feel weird since their parents are there.

Neev looks at Prachi up and down as he sings. Prachi looks at him with
eyes wide from shock. She feels so self conscious now and glares at Neev.

The guys continue to stare at the girls intensely which makes them unsettled. The girls all start to feel conscious and really nervous under the guys' intense gaze. The girls feel shaky because they know the whole audience is watching the girls' reactions to the song.

At the end of the song the boys start running after the girls to get their kisses and the girls see the herd coming their way so they all start running in all directions. In order to get the rowdy boys in control, Dilip comes on stage saying, "Boys kuch zaada ho raha hai! Kuch to shaadi ke liya baacha ke rakho baadmashon!!" The guys stop at once hearing Dilip and start blushing from embarrassment since the whole audience brokes out laughing. The girls then make their way towards the stage to perform to from Dhoom 2.

The girls start crashing into each other, while the whole audience makes
noises because it looks like the girls are getting hurt while "dancing". The
guys just try to hide their amusement because they know they are going to get it as soon as everyone goes home.

The girls have stopped trying since there is absolutely no way they
can win now. They just could not concentrate without feeling everyone
watching their every move with close examination. As soon as the
song ends the girls give the guys icy cold glares. The guys are scared
looking at their evil looks.

Then Dilip and Surya make their way towards the stage again to announce the winners of the boys vs. girls competition. Obviously it is the boys who won, although the girls performance was rather amusing as well.

The guys then start gloating about their victory in front of the girls like wagging meat in front of a dog. The girls are ready to seriously do some damage to their faces. Angad says, "Who's the loser now Kripa?" Kripa quickly replies, "Loser says what" Angad asks confusedly, "What…wait NO YOU'RE THE LOSER!!" The girls laugh and move away from the guys, while Angad continues to scream behind Kripa, "YOU'RE THE LOSER!!" while she ignores him completely. Neev pats Angad on the back saying, "Intellect I tell you, these girls are too smart for us to handle!!" Kavya says, "True…but NEVER let them know that!!" The guys laugh and take their seats in the men's section.

Soon the function comes to an end with everyone slowly leaving. Everyone is exhausted by all the singing and dancing. All the guys want now is go straight to bed and dream about their marriage, but of course there are still some days left for the marriage. Two days later would be the haldi rasam, one step closer to marraige.

So that was the next part!! i tried, sorry if it sucked but its cuz im still sick so yea! anyways i'll try to continue sooner! hopefully i get better soon cuz it totally sucks being sick!! oh and realllllllllllllly sorry for delay!!

The scenes which you had Andad and Kripa do were almost similar to the ones which I used to imagine to be like in my original-thought-style.......not like in Dhoom.........and I wasn't sure if I would have it on any ff of mine or will.......but yah I used to imagine something like the above mentioned.....I was so shocked when i read something like that.....I mean that was so close to how I imagine and then how could someone else also imagine something totally which no one have seen before since imagination is a VERY VERY big thing.......it hardly haooen that 2 ppl imagine similar thing at certain topics..........well I hope that doesn't sound confusing but do continue soon it was awesome!!
