Note - i was suppose to do this thread about a month ago, coz do you remember i asked if we should open an sort of dedicated thread to Saakshi, some of you said it was a good idea, so here it is 😊

This thread is dedication to the wonderful Saakshi Tanwar who portrays Parvati Agarwal (and Janki Devi) in KGGK, she is heart and soul of KGGK, not only that she is one of the best actress on tv 😊

I know most ppl will agree with this thread title, coz she is beautiful and not only that but elegant, on-screen and off-screen, also in the way she dances, she is a wonderful dancer which we JUST recently just saw again 😉 😊

Here we can talk about Saakshi and Saakshi as Parvati/Janki Devi and other related things 😊

Mini Bio

Born on - 12th January 1973
Saakshi graduated from Delhi. After graduation, Saakshi was preparing for entrance tests to the administrative services and mass communications when a close friend suggested that she audition for national broadcaster Doordarshan's film songs-based programme Albela Sur Mela. She got selected and that marked her first entry into Indian television.

Acting wasn't exactly a new experience for this Delhi girl, who during college was secretary and president of the dramatic society and had her fair share of the stage. However, facing the camera was a new experience. The experience of anchoring the show encouraged her to pursue acting.

Smitten by the acting bug and the money that come along with it, she initially picked out serials that didn't require much commitment. In the meantime, she, along with her friends joined a computer course. For a long time Sakshi juggled computer classes and acting. She was seen in Ehsaas, Dastoor, X-Zone, Bhanwar & Rajdhani, which was a turning point that changed her hobby into full time profession.
And then came the offer from Balaji Telefilms for Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki. Nothing's been the same since then for her.
