Guys, if any of u have seen any of the pongal release movie, please post your
comments on the movie review thread for the actual movie 😃

Managed to see 2 movies last 2 weeks. Too bad one movie was only released in CD in Malaysia. I doubt they were shown in cinema.

Last Sunday, saw Bheema - I am big fan of Vikram. After 20 mins I was so bored that I wish I could leave. 🥱 But unfortunately had to sit patiently there, cause of Karthikaa. She in turn told me after 3/4 of the film, she too wanted to leave. Rest of us asked her "what made you stay that long, we were all bored after 20 mins". She said she was waiting for something nice to happen. 😆 😆 😆. We all shook our head in despair. All of us like Vikram the best, but for her to wait 3/4 of the movie to concede it is boring ........... Urgh! 😃

Storyline - hm...... how to describe. Vikram hero worships Prakashraj ever since he was young. Prakashraj is a local dada but helps poor people. When Vikram was young, a group beat up his policeman father, and Prakashraj in turn beats up the gang. So V decides to follow P's footsteps and joins his group. Raghuvaran is P's enemy. Only 2 actresses in the movie - Trisha - who had only 2 roles to play (well she is good at that two roles) - 1 to disturb the hero and 2 to sing duet songs or rather dream songs. I should say she looked good in her costumes. Second heroine is none other than Lakshmi Gopalswamy (Neths from Laksmi). She comes as P's wife/lover. So sweet and in soft voice (Nothing like her character from Laksmi) 😃

So basically Vik goes around gunning anyone and everyone around with couple of Matrix moves. Finally to stop Raghuvaran, they decided to conquer all his business prospects. So they are number 1 Mafia.

Meanwhile Police are in lookout. Commissioner (the guy who acted as Vijay's father from Thirupacthi? Orders shoot to kill. Vik decides to leave his profession as he marries Trisha. Prakashraj agrees, but later after persuasion of the henchmen, he goes to ask Vik to come back. One of his henchman kills Trisha leading to V's wrath and shoots at the henchman - to cut story short - all gets killed in this movie - Vik/Trisha/Prakashraj & Raghuvaran. However, this movie is not sad enough to shed a couple of tears. 😉

All of us decided - if Lingusamy the director, comes to Malaysia - we are gunning him down! 😛 Acting wise - so so by Vik, Raghuvaran & Prakashraj. Nothing to write home about. Good stunts but in some cases it is unbelievable.

Verdict : "YAWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNN!!!" 😃 After a big hype up during their interview over ponggal about this pic, it was really disappointing. However others might beg to differ. So see at your own risk. Although my brother agreed that Billa's storyline was better than Bheema. Btw, Bheema was not Vik's name. It is actually Police slogan "Op Bheema"

Multiple words can be used for this movie - fantastic / excellent / marvellous - a good entertainer. Need some light movie and entertainer, then this is the movie to watch. Very unfortunate they did not show this in cinema in Malaysia. Most probably, the agent thought it is easier to cash money on Billa or Bheema. :(

After watching Mdm Radhikaa in serial Selvi/Arase where her acting mostly like "dumb and dumber" or for everything she was screaming her head off – yieeeeeeehhhhhh….. am I glad to see her performance in this movie. I was waiting for her to do the same in this movie, but I was glad she proved me wrong. Phew!!! 😉

Meli has given the synopsis for this movie. So I won't elaborate on this movie. But, it was a family movie and entertainer as well. All actors and actresses were given important role to play and no one was sidelined. First part of the movie was shot in Malaysia. All around KLCC area just like Arase. 😆

Privitiraj, Sathyaraj, Sandhya, Radhika and Sri Priya and others carried out their role well. Sathyaraj a strict but lovable father. Kounder family. As husband, he behaves as though he is superior than the wife. He is a commissioner. But in public, he gives talk that women and men are equal. Radhika comes in as his loving and devoted to wife. Sandhya as eldest daughter who is studying in Malaysia. Second child is a daughter. Then there is a grandfather and Sathyaraj's assistant. Sathyaraj has a sister (twin mind you) and he is not in contact with her as she ran away from home.

Privitraj is Sandhya's love life. Working in Malaysia, met her here. Orphan but brought up by his mama Radharavi and mami. From Iyer family. Mama objects to P's marriage to S. But P goes to India with S. Mama cancels all P's account leaving him penniless. So in India it is P's duty to convince Satyaraj that he is a good candidate for his daughter. So basically that is the story.

The songs were great. Should watch out for one song where S and P were dreaming or rather having a nightmare. S's nightmare was he and his family was wearing iyer get up and dancing away or rather rocking away. Then P has the nightmare. He dreams that S and family were in uniform and mooti ku mooti thaturan him. This song was in English and tamil. There was another song with remix and a nice remix too .

Radhika is a loving mother, but when comes to husband she pretends to support him. Like for eg Sandhya announces to her about her love life over the phone. Same time S comes home angrily. Immediately R says I am going to take poison. Let's all take poison and die, we do not need a daughter like this. S says calm down, lets wait and see and goes up the stairs. R turns around and asks her family, now that is not too bad was it. They reply no, it was not. Next mo, they hear all the things were thrown around upstairs.

R knows anything she says the husband goes opposite way. So she gives him the wrong idea, only to get the answer she was expecting. Then there was a family fued R & daughter leaves the house. Only to find out they are staying with S's estranged twin sister. It was so funny to find out S's twin sister is non other than Sri Priya. I laughed when S & Su was standing next to each other, S was so tall and Su was so short and she was jumping up to catch his neck. Shooting him with her gun was really hilarious. Then both call each other annai/akka coz one born 3 mins earlier than other. 😆 😆 😆

Verdict: Thumbs UP! 👍🏼 I am watching this for second time. 1st CD watched last night. 😃

You forgot to mention the DG from Arase standing behind Ashish Vidyarti in Bheema not doing anything except trying to look strict. 😆

Oh yes, I forgot about that. He acts in the same uniform in all serials. I wonder if his uniform is permanent? 😆

Yes we do...as both of us work in different places quite a distance from each other and at different times. But it all relates to IF matters only. Once Caryn reaches home, she won't go near the computer, whereas I am an Internet freak. It's 1.00 a.m, and I can't sleep whereas Sleeping Beauty is in dreamland. 😆
